Came here with a party of 4 adults and a child. We sat outside near a fire place when we first got there. The area was cozy and we were able to socialize and iy allowed us time to have some beer and decide which games we wanted to play. The beer - Good beer selection, we ordered a few pitchers over the 2hrs we were there. The food - We also had a few appetizers, nice options that were not common items which was good. We enjoyed the Buffalo Cauliflower, Calamari, Grilled Artichoke, Chicken Wings and Coconut Shrimp. The foood arrived hot and all were accompanied by a sauces for dipping. Our server forgot to put 2 of the apperizers into the system so those items arrived much later than the first set. The game play - We played the Foot Pool game, which seemed the easiest since we had a 4-year-old with us. I was pretty shocked at the hourly rental cost for each game.Being a Saturday, all games were priced on the higher side of the sliding scale. Although costly, I paid the price and chalked it up as a special treat for the 4.5 of us. The Foot Pool was hard to play, small area and you can easily trip going in and out of the box to kick the ball into the pockets. We did enjoy the seating area at the Foot Pool but not at the rate of $60 an hour. Overall, we did enjoy our time there, and we are not sure we will return simply due to the cost of the activities. We spent almost $400 for a few pitchers of beer, a few apperizers, and a 1hr game of Foot Pool....I left feeling a little disappointed at how much we spent. For those 2 hrs of fun, it seemed very pricey. Not sure we will be returning any time soon unless we have something special to celebrate with a larger group of people which would actually help reduce the out of pocket cost per person on the games. read more

So glad to have found this place to celebrate my husband's birthday/late Friendsgiving/Friendsmas. I love that Da Boccery was a one-stop shop for everyone in our big party of 25. The kids enjoyed the arcade games while the adults played rounds of bocce ball and utilized the full bar. There's axe-throwing too which we didn't get to play but there was plenty of entertainment for everyone. The food was delicious and they served large portions! We enjoyed the fried Brie, nachos, and loaded fries for apps. Some of us ordered cocktails (Hippie's Juice and Coconut Job were awesome) while the rest split pitchers of beer. Service was great and our table was never empty. A BIG shoutout goes to Christian, who was our server for the night. We were a large group of 25 split between 3 tables and he was PHENOMENAL. He was quick to take our food and drink orders and always checked in on us. He was very cordial and professional and ensured that we all got what we needed and wanted in a timely manner. I've previously been with a work group outing and enjoyed a few dishes with a bocce game. Came back and got to try something individually with a date. I got the bulgogi sandwich and it was delicious!! My date got one of the pizzas and enjoyed it as well and we split the brunch cinnamon roll pull aparts. I will say I'm not usually a huge fan of fries got them with my sandwich and they were perfectly hot and crispy! Service was prompt and our needs were met. Got to sit outside which was lovely. Came here for a company holiday party and had such a great time playing Bocce ball with my team. They had catered food and drinks available for us and the food was delicious. Pizza, calamari, pasta, and a few yummy desserts. There are other interactive games that you can play such as golfing and axe throwing to name a few. Had an event of 40 ppl for a 40th bday and everyone had a great time. A majority of my party came an hour early and hung out at the bar having drinks. It was packed on a Saturday evening, and the bar service was quick and super friendly. Hands down, the service at the bar was great; an A+. My entire party had a blast and that's what mattered the most. Both adults and kids had a blast. We rented out the bocce ball lanes and also one golf simulator. When it came down to the service at the rental area, it was more of a C+. With having a big party, I'd expect a little more follow up to minimize trips at the bar. The only thing I wished I did prior to planning is ask more questions on how the catering works. I did the Charleen sheen package (sliders, wings, mozzarella sticks, nachos) and although I knew it was going to be more of appetizers, I really did not know how much to expect as far as sizing and portions. The sliders were a hit! The trays that are pictured is what I paid for 40 ppl. I did end up spending a lot more on food. Our party of 9 went to Da Boccery for lunch and axe throwing. We sat at a table outside and loved the vibe of the whole restaurant. The drinks are amazing (more hippie juice please) and the service was friendly and on point. We all enjoyed our appetizers and meals as well. Had dinner hosted here by my husbands work. My review is solely based on my interaction with one of their wait staff... Catherine was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful, helpful, friendly and attentive waitress!!!! OMG! She was someone I would have loved to get to know on a personal level x10. She made me feel welcomed in an environment I may not have been so comfortable in, I found myself looking for and she was always somehow ready whenever I needed her. What a wonderful woman to have tentatively waiting on your patrons. She was so inviting and when it came to recommendation on food, she was spot on with the Panko crusted chicken Alfredo pasta!! So yummy! Glorified bar food... for sure, pasta that was selected per Catherine... will for sure order again!!! My daughter is something like food critic and we argued on the last delicious bite! As far as the rest of the ambiance, I'd say it looked very family friendly even though I didn't stroll around enough to enjoy the provided entertainments. Frequented here before with the fellow adults when it used to be called Campo di bocce(other one we liked also was in Los gatos) I thought it was quite boring but the food compensated for it. Tiramisu and cheesecake was the favorite of everyone and we got all types of pizza don't know if it's cz we were too hungry or too hungry to wait for the boys to finish their boring bocce game tbh. The women and myself clearly didn't get the bocce game but it was a hit for the boys...so we always ended up devouring the desserts, cheese and wine lol Post covid this is no longer Campo di bocce, but they made better use of the space this time, food and service was different than what I was used to, as twain said that don't impress me much lol. But I noticed this seems to be the norm post covid so not blaming the establishment on the quality of food or service for now we'll see for the next visit. I really wanted this place to succeed but I'm not sure if it will. Went there on Sunday at noon and it was maybe 10% full. I booked axe throwing and a lunch for my son's birthday and ended up spending $600 for 10 people which I was astounded by. And yet, despite spending so much money and the place being completely empty I had to constantly hunt down my waitress for any service requests. Drinks took on average over 10 minutes. I walked across the warehouse-sized facility and waited outside the kitchen for 10 minutes for the waitress to emerge to ask if we could order desserts. And then after desserts I did the same thing to ask if we could get our bill. The bright spot is the food was good but I just don't understand how the service can be so bad considering how expensive the place is and how few customers were there. read more

Online reservation system makes it difficult to plan for a large group with their 3 days in advance only and it's challenging to book for more than an hour. Our bocce reservation gotten broken up between inside and outside courts and we had to scramble to move food and drinks. They need more wait staff. That the manager was so kind in her response to this review is really nice. I did straighten out the issues. I do wish activities were available at least one week ahead and the it was just a deposit for the activity so that if your group shinks or grows a little you're not paying extra for the one person who didn't show up. Things happen post covid. A non refundable deposit of like $50 seems more reasonable up front when making reservations. If people no show or cancel with less than 24 hours, they'd still get the money, and they could give it to a walk in. Also need to put the party size limits on axe throwing per target. *Trying to reserve axe throwing for bf's birthday. Won't let you do it until 3 days prior. Website clearly says for groups of under 16. Have a group of 11. Waited until midnight 3days before so I would be the first. Says no availability at anytime, but if I put in a group of 5, it works. I called Sunday to try to make the reservation but was told to wait until now. Cool. Tried to plan with friends. Da Boccery is pretty much the same but you can also choose to throw axes or play shuffleboard. We tried to play bocce but the kids and adults sort of lost interest. So much fun! We made reservations for bocce ball and ax throwing a week in advance for a Friday night, very easy to do online. We checked in a little early and completed our waivers and moved to the bar area to be called. We were checked on a few times by staff to be sure we were being helped, great customer service. We ordered the pitcher of hippie juice (I think) and it was plenty for my friend and I to share. Bocce ball was so fun! Loved the outdoor courts. Went here on a Saturday night (6:30 reservations ) for the first time. We used to love going to Campo da Bocce , but this place is nothing like that!!! Think of it as cross between Campo da Bocce meets Chuck E. Cheese. It was very loud inside with lots of kids running all over. Definitely a much younger crowd but with very high food and drink prices , price for simple bar food and drinks ( my wife and i only drank iced tea) for 4 people was $200 . Probably will not be going back, because of 1) prices 2) way too many kids running around. 3) very noisy inside . I was really excited to give DaBoccery a try after years of loving Campo Di Bocci. Unfortunately, it was a pretty big letdown. We assumed service would be great as the place was packed with servers and hosts and very few customers, however, the service was terrible and the food incredibly overpriced. $12 for a pretzel, and $20 something for nachos with cold cheese sauce... really? Also one of us ordered a pizza with bbq sauce instead of tomato sauce, when they didn't bring it out correctly we let them know and they took it and brought it back a few min later with bbq sauce slathered on the top (with tomato sauce on the bottom.... ewww). Why can't I book bocce online more than a week out? I can book a reservation for the restaurant more than a week out. This messed up my plans as I had a party of 12 for lunch and we wanted to do some bocce afterwards for 11/6/2021. When I went to book there were no courts free for lunch at the time I was looking, inside or out. Called to find out a large party of 40 had reserved all the courts. No other weekend has had this issue leading up to this date as I had been checking for a month. Would be good info to know so I could have planned for another date/time.
