a chocolate crepe with whipped cream
    Marketa S.

I got a croffle and it tasted great. The reason I didn't go Ive 5 is due to the lack of service. Sadly they got my daughters order wrong and since part of our order took a while, I didn't bother to correct it. However during our meal our server came over only 1 time to check on us. I guess I will continue doing take out.

Very quick dessert and very tasty. A lot to chose between. Definitely something to share with someone.

Wow! I was literally wowed by this place! I wish we had such places in Dallas. Very nice decor, bright and cheerful with options for group seating. The menu is extensive, hard to make a choice when everything looks so temting...We ordered a couple of things to share. Service was great too!

Super busy on a Friday night. The service was still quick, dessert was great, very generous portions. It's a meal in itself. Nice late-night hangout spot with friends. No street parking here, no parking lot at the back, we had to park at the big Cineplex lot across the street.

Need a dessert place that hits the right spot ALWAYS? Head over to D Spot! This is like the go-to place for everyone's dessert cravings. The portion size is amazing and the taste so good, you'll be surprised. Tried their strawberry cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and I swear it was yum! Also their Belgian waffle? SO GOOD. This is my favourite dessert spot hands down!

Tantalize your taste buds crepe and Spanish coffee
    Lexia R.

Tried the Spanish latte and tantalize your taste buds crepe (saffron pistachio custard filling!) - both were excellent. Wide variety of items, if you're looking for variety - definitely recommend coming here. From a service perspective, it was good, they take a more hands off approach but no complaints. From an ambiance perspective, nice and clean, cute decor on the walls but very illuminated... i prefer the dimmed lighting at Demetres. I would come back if I was looking for different dessert options than Demetres. Overall, good experience and I would recommend coming here.

    Hes so sweet :)

I visited thisnlatebhour dessert place with mypartner. It was a nice wrap up to a long day. The dessert menu was like any major crepe, milk shake location, with the additional serve of fast food meals. Burgers, fries, .... We ordered milk shakes. The first order was a mango ice cream with banana and the next was a banana toffee. This location was quite accomodating to us. When I tasted the banana toffee, I was like questioning if they had the order right. The returned with my milk shake with toffee flavour to the max. The price is a bit steep, but it is a dessert place. If you're craving Demetres, this is pretty close to the menu varieties and worth giving it a try. I definitely enjoyed the light sign, the sweet bite and the company. Thank you! Can't wait to return.

Talking about variety of desserts, D Spot's menu is extensive, and also offers food like pizza, nachos, poutine, etc. One of the restaurant that really checked your proof of vaccination, in my opinion. Great Job!! We went on a Tuesday night, and it is full. The service is really good here. We got: Hidden Gem: Chocolate lava cake wrapped in a crepe topped with strawberries, banana, Oreo pieces. Belgian milk and white chocolate with a side of vanilla ice cream. Heaven on Earth: Chocolate brownie ice cream topped with brownies, Oreo pieces, Belgian white chocolate, milk chocolate Callets and Belgian milk chocolate. Royalty (crepe): Topped with Ferrero richer, hazelnuts and Nutella drizzle. Served with a side of vanilla ice cream. A great spot to hangout with friends, but it get super loud.

If you got a sweet tooth, you will love this place! Ambiance: Great place to either grab a bite to eat or just come for the dessert. They also have a variety of drink options as well. The prices are higher in my opinion for some of the desserts. You are paying a fair amount for shake which is an average size (not that big). Food: Poutind: the fries are delicious and crispy, the only issue was that the cheese curds were too cold and the gravy wasn't warm enough to melt them. It was like eating cheese curds pieces with fries and dipping it into the gravy. It was still delicious! Try chicken tikka and avoid butter chicken poutine. Hotdogs: massive and are spicy Ferraro milkshake: did not enjoy there were large pieces of chocolate in there and it was beyond sweet. Nutella hot chocolate on the other hand is delicious I ordered the biggest waffle they have to share with a friend. The portion size was huge! It's two waffles with chocolate ice cream in between, topped with more icecream and brownies and whipped cream. It was very flavourful but also very sweet. Definitely a shareable item. There comes a point when it's too sweet to take another bite but still really good..

The food was really good! The service is quick and the ambiance is great to chill with friends and family.

    Creamy Dreamy Mango Waffle

Our first time here did not disappoint! We were not sure what to expect, but we absolutely loved the vibe of this place. Arjav was our server who was an absolute pleasure. I had the Chocolate Monkey Milkshake and my partner had the Creamy Dreamy Mango Waffle. I had asked for a special request to mine and Arjav did it with no questions asked. We will definitely be back, thanks for the great experience!

Philly Steak poutine, with caramelized onions and sauteed mushrooms!
    April Anne G.

My fiance and I came here very late on a Saturday night. They were supposed to be closed already , but the owner/manager still took us in and sat us down. We ordered the Philly steak poutine and red velvet cake. They have very generous portions! The poutine was very flavourful! The red velvet cake came with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with white chocolate. The service was fast, the staff was very friendly. The team placed proper COVID measures & even had a sanitizing stations throughout the store.

D-Spot is my new go-to dessert place and TRUMPS Demetres by a mile for their quality and service. Food: a HUGE menu which can be overwhelming...in my opinion they're offering TOO much variety and it is so confusing. BUT when you deselect what you don't want and make your choice, you won't be disappointed. We've tried the nachos, hot dog, milkshakes, crepes, waffles, ice cream and various cake slices. NO COMPLAINTS! Nachos are huge and great for sharing with 2-4 people but I wish they'd make a half size. Everything was delicious but I did find the ice cream slightly icy? It wasn't smooth so it might have just been the batch Service: hands down excellent. All of the staff is friendly and accommodating. Space is clean and lots of seats. It gets BUSY on the weekend especially with people coming from the movie theatre

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

I requested to be lighter on the chocolate but there was still a LOT of chocolate on our waffle. The mango smoothie was refreshing and sweet. I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!
