We went with a group of friends that did have kids so it was perfect. The brunch menu was a bit limited in my opinion but I enjoyed the spinach salad with chicken added. Nothing particularly special but I ate it all up. I was sad they didn't have decaf coffee because I really wanted a decaf iced latte. My friends got the steak and eggs, breakfast plate, the panini, chicken and waffles and no complaints!! They also have a kids menu. Soft Opening Review: Wow! Finally great craft cocktails in the neighborhood and amazing food. I would recommend giving it a try now - you may not be able to get a spot in the coming weeks as the word spreads. Reasonably priced craft cocktails ($8-$13 depending on happy hour). All of us tried the Alba Balloon (which was decent), crispy brussels (which I'm not a huge fan of brussel sprouts, but these were delicious), and the spinach & artichoke dip (which was tasty). And then my friend and I shared the roasted artichoke pizza (absolutely delicious, but I'm not a huge fan of big chunks of artichoke hearts) and the beef bolognese (omg, this was my favorite item out of them all). Food and atmosphere is great! Service is meh. Been here three times and there is almost always something off. Granted, it is a newer place and they are learning their "flow". First was really intense eye focus and forgetting a lot of stuff, second was good, third was a good server but the manager with the red hair has either extreme RBF or was having a bad day. Our server was trying to be accommodating, to items which would actually make the cost of the dish cheaper and she got a serious head wag. In the back office I could see this discussion, but in clear view it made the whole dining experience awkward. It also put a sour taste on any other odd circumstances at previous visits that were previously overlooked. Other items to notate, their lot is good, but fills. Found out this restaurant just opens recently and called themselves as American modern cuisine so I decided to try it out. The restaurant has nice ambiance with lots of seatings inside and outside. Staffs are very friendly and courteous. We were here for lunch today and since the weather was nice most people decided to seat at the patio. So we took the advantage of empty but very cozy indoor dining. Food was quite interesting. It's a mixture of different spices and cuisines to combine the dishes. The balloon bread that many people recommended was just OK for me. It's fun to see but not too good. Maybe a little more pesto on it would help bringing more taste on the bread. We also had the metaldini pasta and I really like the texture of the handmade pasta, not smooshi like some places. It's a bit salty to me but I guess maybe ok for others. We were curious about the cauliflower so we ordered it too. The combination of Chile and lime salt plus the crunchiness of the quinoa was very well blended in. Came here for the first time and thought it was wonderful! First and foremost any restaurant with a large patio and kids play area is a hidden gem for me. Our son loved the playground and the games and we were able to comfortably eat our meal while he kept himself busy and had a great time. You can either sit on the patio and have a server or there are picnic tables closer to the play area where you order at the bar. We did the latter and it was super easy and comfortable. Bonus: I thought the food was fantastic!! We enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip, meat pizza, balloon bread with prosciutto, ricotta, honey/jam, and a brunch burger on an English muffin. This place was really great. When you walk in its open seating you can seat yourself inside or outside on the patio. For appetizers my friend and I ordered the brussel sprouts and the Alba balloon bread which was so good. The bread tears apart and is drizzled with honey. For my meal I ordered the pepperoni pizza that had jalapeño and honey drizzled over top and I also ordered the Metadini which is a beef bolognese that was so good. My friend ordered the roasted artichoke pizza which was also really good. When parking I would suggest parking in the open lot across the restaurant as street parking is limited and very tight. We were well taken care of by our waiter, who gave feedback at the time of ordering and routinely checked in on us to make sure we were doing alright. Everything was well composed and executed, w/ the chick-wa having some interesting spice elements, the burger having a real nice and well seasoned grind to it's mix, and the campechana being very fresh and having big meaty shrimp portions. We've had several meals here since they opened. The space is super cute with a play area and ample patio seating. We've had pizza, burgers, pasta and salads. The Brussels sprouts are amazing but the cauliflower was very disappointing as was the citrus salad. Pizza was on point as always pepperoni with hot honey. The mushroom pizza is good but you must REALLY like mushrooms. It was a bit too much for me and I like them. They have a puff bread served with honey that's different and yummy. I really enjoy the garden cocktail. They have a party room you can reserve, we have done this as well. Service is good and food comes out pretty quickly. The balloon bread is some kind of pita-naan combo, the bread itself wasn't tasty, the sauce on top was ok but there wasn't enough of it. A dipping container with the sauce would have solved this.
