I wish I could give this company 10 stars! Great, great, great customer service. I asked my hubby to get my 20+-year old Trex bike tuned up. I told him to not buy me a new bike, I just wanted My Bike tuned up. He went to Cycle Therapy. They sold him a new bike. (It was going to be about the same amount of money to buy a new bike as it would be to overhaul my old bike). Upon seeing my "new" bike I called the store and ended up talking to the owner Ric. I explained that I wanted my old bike back and tuned up. They still had it and Ric offered to allow me to return the new bike and that they would go ahead and overhaul my old bike for me. Chris and Chad did a GREAT job. I am so happy. But here is the best part... the customer service. All of the team members at Cycle Therapy were totally about making us happy. Honestly, I think they were trying to save my hubby money by selling him a new bike (did I say my Trex was old...it's super old). In the end, they overhauled My Bike for the same price as we had paid for the new bike (that might sound like a lot to pay for a tune up - it would be, but this was an Overhaul...as in darn near built me a new bike on my old frame....). All the while, the Team was sooooo accommodating, pleasant, (they could have turned their noses up at My Bike, but they just seemed to understand that I like my old bike) and they wanted to make it right for me in any way possible. I am in a front-facing customer service job myself and when I experience EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, which is rare these days, I want to let the world know - so here it is! I am so grateful! Hit a gentleman on a bike and ruined his bike's back wheel yesterday, (the gentleman is okay, thank the lord!!) and this is the first place I went. They literally did all they can to help me find the wheel, and fix the gentleman's bike. I'm sooooo grateful to have gone here. I've also been here before to get a tube for my last bike. Stopped by looking for ideas for my bike and found this nice little bike shop in Kent on First and Smith. We were greeted with a very friendly attitude and the bike talk was very good. If you are out on your bike this would be a great destination to just check things out. They have a nice selection of road and mountain bikes and located just up the street from a nice little shopping area with a farmers market just around the corner on the right Saturdays. We Love the store, the owner Ric, and his wise bike guru Josh. We have purchased four bikes from them over the last several years. We also encouraged two other people to purchase bikes from them. All of us are very pleased with our bike purchases. They are very honest and upfront. Very helpful and kind. I would do business with them over and over again. We had a warranty issue on one of the bikes and because the bike company was slow to respond , the owner purchased at his own expense the solution to our warranty problem. These are real people trying to help the bike community, not just make a buck. Support them, we need more places like this. read more

Did some research and decided to take my bike into the shop for a tuneup. I messaged them beforehand on Yelp and they responded within seconds. They said I could bring my bike in any time so that's what I did. The employees working there were incredibly nice and invested in taking care of my bike. My bike ended up being ready when they told me it would be and it was only $60 for a tuneup! Friendly but incompetent. Brought bike in to get tune-up for $100. What I don't know was by tune-up was they were going to beat the stuffing out of it. First thing I noticed was shift pod on handlebar was cracked apart and hanging . Employee offered to put tape on i. OH BOY! Next I get home and test ride it and first time I shift to my large cassette the shield guard snaps and comes flying off and chain comes off also OH BOY! I bring it back so they could take a look and still is unable to be shifted on front derailleur. Won't be going back and I'm in market for new bike. Ric is simply awesome! I bought a 2017 Kona Hei Hei Trail bike from Cycle Therapy. Since I live in North Seattle and cannot be pick up the bike earlier during weekday, Ric waited for me on Tuesday night. When I arrived at 8:30PM, Ric did not rush me and provided me enough time to check out the bike then answered all my questions. He even setup the bike for me and promised a free first tune-up before I left the shop with my new bike at 9:30PM. Thank you so much Ric! guys were great! I spent hours in the garage working on two older, but high end mountain bikes and just couldn't get them to run right. Brought them in here and within 5 minutes he had both of them working great. The owner obviously knew his way around the bikes and was very helpful with the quick tweaks these needed, and at a more than reasonable price! I brought my self inflicted shifting issue in last Saturday afternoon. The guy that helped me said he was newer to the shop and I think his name is Mike. He test ride my bike and made adjustments to it and wanted for me to try it out. I told him I trust him. Went for 24 mile ride next day and my bike hasn't shifted that nicely in years! I recently visited Cycle Therapy looking for a road bike for the STP. The two gentlemen at the store not only shared their riding tips/suggestions (I.e. eating and riding) but also prepared a bike for me to test ride. After about an hour or so I drove away with a solid road bike, meeting all the requirements needed for my upcoming ride. Went to this store about a year and a half ago, December 2018. Bought a new beautiful red Fuji road bike. The owner gave me a great deal of about $200 off original price. And switched over all my other gear from my older bike, put together the new bike all for free. I donated my old bike which they repair and give to the homeless or needy. Very cool Since I have continued to go there and they have often given me free parts and service. Definitely my go to bike shop from now on. read more

What a great group of people! Walked into the store on a Saturday and was treated like a king from everyone in the shop. We brought in a bike for repair that we purchased somewhere else and they immediately assisted us in getting it up and on the road. They obviously take great care of the customers that purchase bikes from their own store. Probably should have reviewed this place earlier. I go to many places relating to biking, running and swimming due to my triathlon habit. I've bought a Mt bike from them, had them tune my road bike, even stopped in for quick repair when my post broke while riding... This store doesn't stock a lot of gear, but when I go in looking for something and they don't have it, they order it, and I usually have it later that day or very soon thereafter, and always at a great price! Most recently I was looking for tires for my mountain bike. Rick got me a couple that I didn't even know existed (reflective sidewalls). They have recently moved to a location at 1st ave and smith near the Kent station parking structure. So glad I located them after seeing the central ave spot closed. Took my bike in for a tune and to check the brake pads and tires for replacement. They could have easily recommended both to make a quick buck but suggested I wait. The bike is now running perfectly thanks to Ric and his staff. They even cleaned the bike including the rims which I was very impressed with. A very nice touch. read more

Jason helped me get fitted for a road bike (I was transitioning from a hybrid), was super friendly, knowledgeable, and not pressuring. Learned about what I needed to look for and feel like posture-wise. Gave me some great tips for the STP.
