Not only did Northwest Bicycle have the best price on a Transition Repeater PT - anywhere, but the service was absolutely top notch. They went the extra distance to see that I didn't pay Washington state sales tax (I live in Oregon) and got the bike in my hands super fast. The staff at their Everett location (Tim's bike Shop) set the tubeless tires up, adjusted the suspension for my weight and walked me through the installation of the SRAM app for the electronic drive train. We love this little place! They often help us with our electric bikes. They give great advice and the price to service our bikes is very very reasonable. We have tried to teach ourselves how to do most of the maintenance on these electric bikes but when we get stuck, these are definitely the people to call. They also offer awesome accessories for your bike like baskets or lights at decent competitive prices. And if you're in the market for a new electric bike, they have some great recommendations on bikes that won't poop out after a few hundred miles. They even sell some in the shop. Spoke with Greg at the black diamond location about getting a wheel trued that was a little off. Even with them being swamped with repairs he took a look at it and saw it wasn't that bad and quickly fixed it on the spot. If the rim was in worse shape I would understand that he might need to keep it longer. I think it was cool that they took a look at it real to see if the work work would take more time before I left. He even took the time to pull two bearings out of an old frame I was working on. I will be back if I ever need something done on my family's bikes. Compared to a couple other shops in the local that are sometimes downright rude, northwest bicycle isn't one of them. This place is legit don't hesitate to take your bike here. read more

I would not purchase from this company again, as I never received my order and have not received a refund. Northwest Bicycle has ignored multiple requests for order status updates and a refund request. I placed an order online in December. The item was mailed out but was not delivered as I realized in early January when I hadn't received it yet, that I had input the incorrect mailing address. I contacted Northwest Bicycle and they (Kevin) requested the correct address which I provided. I let them know the order had been delivered back to their Maple Valley store (which I had confirmation of). They then never communicated regarding when the order would be shipped out again and to this day I do not have my order (yet they still have my money). I've attempted to follow-up multiple times through e-mail and voicemails but Northwest Bicycle does not respond. So they still have my order and have refused to mail it out, and have not issued me a refund for the product I've never received. read more

Jackson has been amazing over the last year or so in guiding me through a gravel bike build in a challenging supply chain cluster. Kevin is very knowledgeable and really wants to get you the bike that is right for you. I get very discouraged when I go to a bike shop and I know more about the brand they are selling than the people there. It appears to be a high end boutique shop at first glance but they do have options the average person can afford. I needed to buy a set of rollers online and decided to go with Northwest Bicycle because of their commitment to customer service -- and am I glad I did because the rollers I received seemed to have shipped from the manufacturer without the six bolts and washers needed to put them together! I contacted Northwest Bicycle's online customer service, and received an email back from Kevin within a day. He tracked down the bolts and washers needed, and had them sent directly to me from the manufacturer. I received them today, and now I can build my rollers!
