I told him to not buy me a new bike, I just wanted My Bike tuned up. He went to Cycle Therapy. They sold him a new bike. (It was going to be about the same amount of money to buy a new bike as it would be to overhaul my old bike). Upon seeing my "new" bike I called the store and ended up talking to the owner Ric. I explained that I wanted my old bike back and tuned up. They still had it and Ric offered to allow me to return the new bike and that they would go ahead and overhaul my old bike for me. Chris and Chad did a GREAT job. I am so happy. But here is the best part... the customer service. All of the team members at Cycle Therapy were totally about making us happy. Honestly, I think they were trying to save my hubby money by selling him a new bike (did I say my Trex was old...it's super old). In the end, they overhauled My Bike for the same price as we had paid for the new bike (that might sound like a lot to pay for a tune up - it would be, but this was an Overhaul...as in darn near built me a new bike on my old frame....). All the while, the Team was sooooo accommodating, pleasant, (they could have turned their noses up at My Bike, but they just seemed to understand that I like my old bike) and they wanted to make it right for me in any way possible. I am in a front-facing customer service job myself and when I experience EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, which is rare these days, I want to let the world know - so here it is! I initially contacted Center Cycles over the phone on a bike I was interested in, and right from the start, I was impressed by his commitment to customer satisfaction. One of the standout moments during my visit was when Dave, the owner, went above and beyond to price match the sale another bike store was having, as well as put the bike together within half a day's notice so I could test ride the bike that same day. Finding a trustable bike store is hard to do and after my visit, I have nothing but a 100% trust in this store. Center Cycles only had a 49 cm size of the exact bike I was interested in (which is what I currently ride) but they also had a 52 cm size of the bike but a higher end model. I test rode both and the 52 cm to me felt like a much better fit. Their bike fitter, along with other Center Cycles staffing, assessed my fit and all agreed that the 52 cm was the correct size for me. Instead of pushing me towards a sale, they prioritized my comfort and safety. This level of honesty and integrity is a rare find in any business. Throughout my visit, everyone at Center Cycles displayed an incredible level of friendliness and professionalism. They genuinely cared about my cycling experience and were more concerned about finding the right bike for me than making a quick sale. Without his wheelchair, he had no way to get around at all. On a chance, we called Tri & Bike. Imagine taking a wheelchair to a bike shop. The team worked so hard and creatively to find a solution ... way above and beyond; they even stayed after closing hours to work it out. They got it fixed, and allowed our camper to still participate. They only charged us for a couple basic parts and nothing for their time and labor. Wow! Eight days later, Kimarie called to say they had a brand new bike ready for me. I was treated like a person and not a number. They took the time to properly set up the bike and answer my questions. Not only did I get a new bike, I got the assurance that they will be there if I need anything down the road. Supporting local bike shops is important, and Northwest Tri & Bike earned my business.

As I shared the serial number over the phone, the staff person was not able to locate it in the computer. The rationale was that if the bike fell between a timeframe of specific years there was no record. The associate appeared helpful and listed the colors of the bikes by year and suggested I go on eBay or another site I don't recall to look up the bike. Now, there's nothing wrong with the over the phone service and the staff seemed like they did their job. Having worked in customer service and sales, I've had associates take down my name and number, do some research, and locate the a skew and model. I've also had associates ask me if there was anything they could do to help further make the customer experience stand out? This could be, come in the shop. I can talk to you about the warranty to see if anything is covered, or feel free and send me pics via email to send to corporate. The funny thing is, recycled cycles pulled up the picture of the bike, eyeballed the year and gave me price of the worth in 5 minutes. Even though they didn't work for Trek they knew their bikes. As a potential Trek customer, I hope that staff are trained to know about the history of the products they are selling and not just the latest models. I hope this can be a learning opportunity at Trek to please try a little harder as this experience needs a tune up.

She was very accommodating and told me to bring the bike in and they would get it taken care of for me. Drove in on my lunch hour and Kim got me in right away. She went to work on the bike herself and was able to get everything taken care of in under an hour. Outstanding and amazing service and very friendly and easy to deal with. The first scooter I purchased did not meet my needs as far as power and acceleration and they let me trade it in with full value for a more powerful model that exceeded my performance expectations. They gave me a good deal on the trade in to a G5 lithium powered scooter. The G5 scooter has great acceleration and speed and the range and reliability has been good so far. The company has been more that willing to help out and resolve the issues I had with the first scooter. I am completely satisfied with their customer service and the performance of the new scooter. I also purchased a Traveler 1.0 electric bicycle from them and am completely satisfied with it so far. I would highly recommend their electric bicycles and scooters, but would recommend that the buyer understands the speed and performance limitations of the low end scooters before purchasing one to insure that it will meet their needs.
