I worked with Josh, and he was pleasant from our first interaction on the phone through the end of our transaction. I told him what was wrong with my machine and what it was worth to me to fix it. He gave me a call the next morning to let me know the repair would cost more than a new machine. Fair enough. When I came in to pay him for his time, he asked if I were military, first responder, or a teacher so he could give me a discount. Mighty generous. When I asked if he knew anybody who could recycle my old machine, he explained that this place has a charity where they used old technology to train young people how to build and repair computers for future jobs. Pretty nifty. I also saw him interact with another, older customer (I'd guess in her late 60s). He explained to her how to work her machine in very down-to-earth details, and she was clearly very satisfied. So this place is the real deal. They care about their customers; they explain options; they charge very reasonable and fair rates; they don't give any surprises. I know where I'm going the next time I have any issues with a circuitboard technology.

I spoke with one of the representatives who was kind enough to make sure that they had the repair kit for my phone available, and told me while she was looking that even if it was not readily available they would go get one to make sure that they were able to perform the job for me. I really appreciate her for that. Thankfully they did have a kit that met the needs of my phone available. I asked her what the price was going to be, thinking that it would be upwards of $100. To my surprise, it was $50! I asked her what the availability to have the screen fixed was and she told me she could do it now because it would take her at most 45 minutes. I was really shocked! I have had my screen fixed before and it took 24 hours! To further my surprise it actually only ended up taking her about 30 minutes. I do not know what she did or how she did it, but the screen fixe has made my calls clearer and seems to have also made the phone function better. She was even able to tell me after she fixed it whether or not there was any water damage. Color me impressed, but you do not get great customer service like this today. It was such a bummer because I had just wrote a letter to my daughter that I wanted her to read someday about our hospital experience. So, I ended up looking for an IT repair shop using the Yelp Projects app and heard from Dustin at Click IT in Marietta. I got several estimates but Dustin's note stood out to me. The cost for diagnosis seemed reasonable, and it was a very small price to pay to have the laptop looked at to see if data recovery could be performed and the laptop repaired. He was very responsive to my inquiry and questions. I was very anxious but decided to give it a whirl. Over the next several weeks, the laptop underwent repair, troubleshooting, and testing to see if it was recoverable. Data recovery could only be performed by a third party vendor which was separate to the laptop repair. Then, the laptop power source failed and the battery conked out too. I starting losing hope that the laptop could be repaired. It survived graduate school at Kennesaw State and many years of productivity for both work, school, and personal usage. Dustin, Amelia, and even Tony stepped in the job and pulled off what appeared to be a miracle by methodically replacing parts of the latop and giving it new life with a 1TB hard drive and brand new power supply. These laptops are not easy to fix, so well worth the money and time spent to bring it back to life. The service, overall value, and care I received is certainly there with Click IT Marietta. I would most certainly recommend giving Dustin and his team a shot at your business if you are experiencing computer issues. I am proud to say the letter I wrote for my Tallulah was recovered along with many other important professional documents. I can't thank them enough as the laptop will be put to use as I look for a new job in the Atlanta metro area.
