This review is based on the pharmacy, not the store. Several times I have wasted time coming here on scheduled pickup times, only to find that the prescription wasn't ready. As you can imagine, this is a huge inconvenience when you are someone who works during their hours, trying to arrange for time away from work. Today was the worst. I had called the pharmacy yesterday to ensure that my prescription would be ready by noon today, which was confirmed. When I arrived a little after 2pm, it was a different story.
I was second in line when the new attendant opened up her register (after taking a break, I think), while the pharmacist was helping the lady in front of me. Register tape needed refilling, which I understand, but I was never acknowledged during this process. Once she refilled the tape, she proceeded to lament to the other pharmacist who was helping the other patron that she broke a nail, and had her stop what she was doing to look at her damaged manicure.
After I checked in, she told me there was no refill for me and I was directed to another counter with her. She eventually told me I was too early to pick up my refill and that my insurance wouldn't cover the cost. I had called the day before and received confirmation to come at that time! I had wasted my whole lunch break plus more time only to be told to come back over a weekend. If there was indeed a problem with refilling my prescription, that is not the issue. It is how it was handled. 1. I walked over since I was told that it would be ready at that time, and most importantly, 2. The terrible service I received from the woman more focused on her manicure, who was non-helpful and passed me back into the queue line to wait to speak to the pharmacist, was rude. I will most certainly not be using this place to fill prescriptions ever again, maybe not even CVS sadly. read more
