Quaint local pharmacy ~ step into this family owned pharmacy that makes you feel like you're apart of the family. From prescriptions to over the counter medication; you'll find what you need. There are a variety of essentials to get you through your day to day (toothpaste, soap, perfume, gum, etc.). I like this pharmacy because they have a few European brands that I can get in person rather than ordering online. read more

Spent my morning driving down there and they don't actually open at 8:30. Waited for 20 minutes

There's a reason Morgan's has so many (well-earned) five-star reviews - it is truly best in class and an absolute gem nestled amongst Georgetown's leafy residential blocks and stately row houses. Maurice is friendly, welcoming, and remembers everyone who walks into the charming storefront; the pharmacists are patient, kind, and incredibly helpful in answering questions and working to fill even the most complicated scripts; and the caring, community vibe feels straight out of Gilmore Girls. Their flu/COVID vaccination/booster process is equally streamlined, easy, and pleasant. The thought of ever going back to a CVS after discovering Morgan's truly makes me shudder. I'm normally not one to write reviews, but I cannot recommend this pharmacy highly enough. Please support them read more

This pharmacy is just lovely -- they actually stock vaccines, and they are just the nicest.

A little off the main stream, but funky and fun, Well stocked and a very friendly owner/pharmacist.

Oooooh cutest little pharmacy ever! And they have a notary if you need documents to be officialized! read more

Cute little Pharmacy with super friendly staff. They have a nice selection of some harder-to-find items. I was able to get some Gerther's Pastilles throat lozenges here. read more

Loved getting something notarized here today. Friendly staff, and it only cost $5. UPS and FedEx Kinko's don't provide this service any more, but this was convenient and quick. Cheers to the staff, I'll be back for pharmacy stuff in the future. read more

Love this little pharmacy. I found it looking for a hard to find medication the big chains were out of, and this pharmacy instead of turning me away, ordered it for next day delivery for me to return and pick up! I felt do lucky to have this resource every month for the last two years. Its in George town and i recommend calling first which may save you a trip and check hours. read more

Really terrific place to go. Sahar and Maurice are just lovely people. I'm so glad I found them!

I was trying to find out if they had my medication in stock because CVS and Walgreens has it on backorder indefinitely. The man who answered the phone said won't answer my question, he only speaks with doctors and hung up on me! I understand his position, but rudeness is not very helpful nor does it make me want to support this business. Everybody has a bad day,...I get it, but small businesses have to be courteous if they are to survive. I'm glad it wasn't for Depression issues! read more

This place is a gem! Took my son here and the pharmacist and the gentleman at the front desk were so kind and helpful. I called in advance with questions and they were so patient and responsive. I found out they have been in business over 100 years. Highly recommend! read more

Helpful and friendly, a neighborhood asset. Maurice is a man of many talents, All coupled with efficiency and expertise. read more

This place is amazing!!! They are fantastic, personal, neighborhood-y, around the corner- they have everything from COVID vaccines to candles to skin care products!! The lady who runs the pharmacy is fantastic. Check them out for all of your pharmacy needs! read more

I was not surprised the pharmacist and partner own this business as nobody with standards would hire this off-putting pharmacist. I concur with the review that she is less than helpful and very disinterested. We were merely asking for the prescribed medication from the physician and she was unresponsive. She then threw HIPA regulations out and spoke of private information to those in the vicinity. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. read more

Morgan Care has everything you want in a neighborhood pharmacy: exceptional product and friendly, reliable staff who take pride in their work (Mo is the absolute best!). I was looking for a specific product and without hesitation, Mo kindly said he could order for me. I look forward to supporting this wonderful pharmacy for years to come! read more

Got vaccinated here. The pharmacist is awesome. I was kinda afraid of needles but she did it so quick and smooth that I barely noticed. They also have a lot of cool stuff here. read more

The staff here is lovely, caring and patient. My son is a student at a local university and he was quarantined with covid. The pharmacist and Maurice helped get much needed care items delivered to him. I highly recommend. read more

I really love you, Morgan Care Pharmacy. You are completely adorable and you sell wonderful hairbrushes and lotion and dog food and Windex and mints and tweezers and everything else I could ever want from a pharmacy. All of your employees are super nice to me and know me by name and always joke around with me and talk neighborhood gossip. Its the best! Your pharmacists even fight with my insurance company about silly things, and remember what drugs I take and DELIVER. Oh yes, your delivery is amazing! I kind of hate that you're not open on the weekends, but c'est la vie- you're so cute I'll wait until Monday to pick up my new asthma inhaler and hair elastics. To all the Georgetowners on Yelp: get your bandaids and shampoo and nail polish and (legal) drugs here! Support this adorable store! I would surely cry if it left P St. read more

What a pharmacy should be. Cordial and accommodating. A personal touch that none of the big boys can deliver. read more

I have done business with Morgan Care Pharmacy for many years and have always appreciated their friendly, knowledgeable and personal service. In addition to filling prescriptions, they also have a nice selection of herbal medicines, formulaics, greeting cards and gift items. Another plus is that they will also deliver on request. Note that they are closed weekends, and there is limited on-street parking in Georgetown. read more

This is a small independent pharmacy which has much better service than the big chains like CVS. They also compound medications for pets. I get my dog's special steroid here and they flavor it with chicken. They also offer delivery for a reasonable fee. I do wish they had a better online system for refills. All they have now is an email form with no security and no confirmation. It's weird. read more

Friendly, fast, personalized service! I have switched all of my prescriptions over to Morgan's from CVS. So grateful to have a caring, professional pharmacy in our neighborhood. However, I would drive a distance for this level of service! Highly recommended. read more

Best Pharmacy in Goergetown if not in all DC. Kudos to the professional staff and the superb service they always provide. And they deliver!

If it were possible to give 100 stars I would. Words cannot explain the exceptional level of service provided here. This is a once and a lifetime pharmacy that you will never experience again. Morgan has been my pharmacy for 25 years. The staff, honestly, they are like a family to me. Morgan Care Pharmacy is a wonderful representation of the true heart of Georgetown. I will mimic what S.B. said "I Really Love You, Morgan Care Pharmacy" "You are completely adorable" I think that sums it up perfectly! A First Class Business on every level! Thank you for being you! read more

This place is the best! I went to two CVS' and a Walgreens and neither had the medication I needed. Morgans had it and they were able to fill it immediately. They were also able to find me a discount code online which brought down the cost dramatically. I will certainly be back! Great costumer service and great selection or products read more

This is the best pharmacy on planet earth. They know you by name, they deliver your meds, they get your meds to you in a few minutes. They are just FANTASTIC. They are closed on the weekends which is a bummer, but they are so great that you simply don't care. read more

I have patronized several of DC's independent pharmacies, and I can say without hesitation that Morgan's is among the best - if not the very best in my opinion. The service is superlative, the staff friendly (without being overly familiar), the pharmacists knowledgeable and so efficient that I have rarely waited more than 5-10 minutes for a prescription. Not a refill either - an Rx fresh from the physician's office! The place has tons of charm and character, and they stock some hard-to-find beauty items. Delivery is available too -- almost at a momen'ts notice - I've tested it one too many times at 5:45p on a Friday! And, this being my very first Yelp review, they must be doing everything right! read more

This is perhaps my favorite local business, pharmacy or otherwise. Always professional, friendly, personal and accurate. They go above and beyond - they'll even deliver! I have all my prescriptions filled here. Also love their variety of general items, too. I agree with the others who gave Morgan's a top rating. I hope they thrive in Georgetown for a long long time! read more

Been using Barry, Charles, Maggie and others at Morgan Care Pharmacy for over 20 years. Entirely different experience than a chain store or CVS. They are friendly, knowledgeable and quick about their business.. No question the best pharmacy in D.C. If there would been a 6th star, I would have checked it. Highly recommend. read more

A wonderful pharmacy, old fashioned in its level of service and modern in its quality of merchandise. Most importantly, the pharmacists actually counsel you about the prescriptions and tell you what you should and should not take with them, etc. They also have a great shampoo, soap, vitamin, etc area. And they do participate with insurance, so you can get your meds from people who care and know what they're doing for the same price as the chains. Oh, and they deliver! read more

I am sad to say that I cannot agree with the other yelpers. I have a compounded prescription for my cat that I need to be filled and my vet listed them as one of the options around town. I gave them a call to see how their prices compared to the other pharmacies on the list. The pharmacist informed me that he does not like to quote prices without the prescription in front of him. I stated that I did not want to go all the way there to get a price so he said I could fax it in. Considering that it isn't 1984 and I do not have a fax machine in my apartment, I decided that wasn't going to work and told him thanks but I will just call the next pharmacy on the list. I have never had a pharmacy ask me to jump through that many hoops just to get pricing. It was really very odd. What was even more odd was that he called me back (thanks caller ID) a few minutes later to ask if I could read the prescription to him. Ummmmm??? I told him that I could have, but that I had already called the next pharmacy on the list and they were very nice and had great pricing so thanks anyways. It was just a very very weird experience all around. Good luck to anyone else that may need pricing over the phone. read more

Morgan's service is exceptional. Everyone is friendly ,helpful and fast. They go out of their way to help get you your medication at the cheapest price. Last week my mom had surgery , when I brought in the new prescriptions, Barry noticed a potentially dangerous interaction immediately and brought it to our attention so that we could discuss options with her surgeon. Plus lots of unique homeopathic treatments, skincare and other good stuff. read more

Morgan's shd be preserved as a national and local treasure, a reminder of what independent pharmacies can be in the soulless age of CVS and the other chains I would not know what I'd do without it read more

I have patronized Morgan's Pharmacy in Georgetown for nearly 10 years now and am absolutely, 100% committed to them for any and all my Rx needs. They have never taken more than 15 minutes to fill a prescription of mine - even a new one with insurance implications - whilst the store is busy just going about daily routine of serving customers, fielding calls from physicians, fighting insurance companies - you name it! The staff is kind and friendly and they honor the privacy of their patients - take it from me, I have multiple docs! The store is charming and they do stock some hard-to-find items like specialty hairbrushes and 'girl stuff' (Barielle nail cream, for example!) I was once privileged to be escorted by one of the staff down to the bowels of the building (pregnant, needed the bathroom) and the stuff they had down there was as real as a museum exhibit but much more accessible. Morgan Pharmacy has served the community for, gosh, over 100 years would be my guess! I would like to see the place busier but at the same time, why invite the hassle? I'm certain that Morgan's has many many loyal customers/patients/friends in Georgetown - of which I am one. I am proud to be served by such a reputable and delightful small business that has endured and prevailed for so long. Well, no wonder. read more

Seemingly efficient pharmacist but amazingly rude store staff. I am pregnant, just off a transatlatic flight and discovered I had run out of medicine. The staff was more concerned about closing than helping. Very surprised given the otherwise amicable atmosphere in the neighbourhood. read more
