Parking is free although shared with other businesses including a Whole Foods Market AND Ledo's pizza. Another service that matters for those times you aren't well enough to get to them for your prescription is THEY DELIVER. They sure do, in EVERY way.

One of my medicines needed insurance approval and a call from the doctor, the doctor called post operation and waited 20 minutes and then just hung up and told us to just pay without insurance. My fiancé tried that and they wouldn't let us and so she left, just for them eventually to say my insurance denied it and we had to pay out of pocket anyway so she had to go back. Through it all they were extremely rude, and made it seem like they didn't believe the doctor or she had even called them.

T doc said he would resent prescription and then Walgreens staff said they didn't get it so called doctor again who resent it and then pharmacy said they had it but could refill as they were closing!!!!! Their website waits open until 8 pm and it was only 7 pm. But Pharma's was not interested in helping a patient I had been there 1 about at the time. They shouldn't be in health care businesses.

I live right by this pharmacy, so I can't speak to how difficult public parking may be. With regard to the store: every time I've gone there, I've had no problems with inventory or finding items. The store checkout lines haven't been too long for me, either. The store is clean and is open later than the other stores in the building. There's an entrance through the building's front, but also a dedicated Walgreens entrance on the side when the main building is closed. And they've got a Starbucks inside the building right before the Walgreens, too. With regard to the pharmacy: yes, there are usually always long lines, but I feel as though that's the case for almost every other Walgreens pharmacy. At least here, they've been fairly efficient in making sure they get to the next person in the queue by having the other person wait on the side, essentially "on standby." The Walgreens mobile app has been very, very, very helpful at this location (highly recommend!!). Whenever I get notified that my prescription is ready, it's always been 100% accurate for me. And when I pick my prescription up, the app has notified me that it got picked up, with exact accuracy as to the time. I saw a review on this page from mid-2020 talking about Dr. Karen, the pharmacist. And she's still working here! She helped me transfer my prescription from my pharmacy across the country, which I used when I went home for a holiday break. The customer service in general has been great too, especially when I had a problem with my insurance.

But I want to give a shout out to the delightful tech - her name is Amber - who administered my flu and Covid vaccines yesterday. I had scheduled both vaccines at another CVS several days before... And then received a cancellation at the last minute. I rescheduled the vaccines for the Sangamore CVS only to receive notification that the Covid had been canceled again. I have a serious health condition... and was advised by my Dr to get both at the same time because doing so potentiates the protection of each. Unfortunately... because the system only showed that I had an appointment for the flu vaccine... I was initially told I couldn't have both. Amber successfully advocated on my behalf and skillfully administered both vaccines. She was thoughtful and kind - and took the time to help. CVS should pay more attention to customer service and customer care... and recognize the value of staff like Amber who make a huge difference in my interest in coming back.

But this was irrelevant: I did have Blue Cross insurance, which got me the previous shots, but the gentleman ignored this. I was not even offered the possibility to pay for it myself. Really nasty experience. Next day, got my shot at Wisconsin Avenue Bethesda CVS. No problem, pharmacist really friendly and helpful. I SUGGEST YOU DON'T GO TO SANGAMORE BETHESDA CVS.
