That shocked me to begin with. Although she was out of stock she recommended calling my doctor and having them adjust the dosage as she had a different strength available. I did as she suggested and everything worked out! She even called to tell me she received the script from my doctor and I could come anytime. I showed up at 5:30pm as she closes at 6 and she said you must be Renee. I was like omg hey yes I am! The pharmacy is so cute and so private you don't feel uncomfortable like at other pharmacies. I honestly always feel judged whether it is from a pharmacist or a pharmacy tech. Mai and I got to chatting about other medications I take and she said she would make sure they were stocked on the shelf for me. Wow! How great! I also let her know my troubles with CVS/Rite Aid and she agreed pharmacists shouldn't be interfering with what the doctors recommend. Love that! After a delightful few minutes, I was all checked out and ready to go and Mai offered me a drink! Like an actual drink which normally people would buy. I was like are you sure?? She was like yes please be my guest and she even walked me to the door. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had in a pharmacy if not just in general! But, I was really close to this store on Copley Place and decided to pop in. For me, this location was a bit confusing. I am sure if I shopped here more often I would probably get used to the aisles and grocery items. The people who work there were as nice as could be. They pointed me in the right direction and one person, even walked me over to the aisle I was looking for. Unfortunately, this store was out of both items I was shopping for. I did find a few things I needed. But, as I came up to the counter, I saw the cherry tomatoes that I picked up, were rotting at the bottom. So, I gave them back to the person working there. I hate to compare, but I really don't think this store is as clean as the one I usually shop at. So, given that they were out of stock for the items I usually buy and the item I picked up was spoiled. I probably won't be coming back to this Harris Teeter. This CVS Pharmacy has become a complete headache. Every time I request a refill, they somehow…read more"never receive" communication from my doctor's office. The call in refill line is nothing but a joke, that never works correct. When I call my doctor to ask if they provide refill info, they show me the approval logs on their end (with timestamps), yet CVS claims they don't have anything. I called in on the refill line and it sated the doc denied the refill, again called my Doc and they said they have the log showing they approved it the other day. It's the same cycle over and over. At one point I never had this problem with CVS its ben the last 2 yrs.  I'm now completely out of medication because CVS can't manage basic communication. I've spent days going back and forth just trying to get something that should be routine. Absolutely unacceptable. If you need reliable prescription management, look elsewhere.
