If a pharmacy can't do what they're supposed to do, you would switch pharmacies too. I picked up my child's antibiotic at their drive through window. Got home to find that the medication was not mixed and it was all powder. My sick child and I had a long day from driving to Wilshire and La Cienega for her doctor appointment, waiting 15 minutes in the CVS drive through window, getting home and now having to pack my sick child back in the car to go back to CVS for their error. Due to this experience, I changed my primary pharmacy and have never gone back and recommend my family, friends, AND patients to do the same. read more

I made an appointment for a flu shot, and after arriving early, my insurance information couldn't be retrieved (even with bringing my identification). I got to the store at 10:45 and they had already closed and didn't let me in I understand maybe 3 mins early closing but a whole 15???? And it's not the first time . 3 different employees saw me and as soon as they saw me they ran to the back . Unfortunately, the pharmacy department hasn't been the most pleasant to interact with. From the pharmacy tech who rings people up to the pharmacist named DANIELA. I had general questions about my prescribed medication and related questions, but she was rude and dismissive and didn't provide much help to me. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with them. Such a shame to encounter rude people who are suppose to help you with questions. I will be escalating this further. It's unfair to myself and other customers needing assistance with unanswered prescriptions questions. read more

The manager is rude. I did actually put the "c" word in here, but I know for that reason alone it would be deleted. Whatever larger woman with dark hair was on duty 1/25/17, could have asked us to leave in a much nicer way than saying "WE'RE CLOSED, WE CLOSE AT 10, FIND ANOTHER STORE" while sticking her hand in my face. Looking through the reviews, it looks like this isn't the first time that's happened. Another gentleman and I did open the gate and walk through, because it was still partially open, but most CVS' are 24 hours, so I assumed they were "closing", or still open. Ok, so now months later the manager sent me a message about this review saying "it's my fault for not checking the hours". Let me make it clear that I wasn't upset that you were closing, I was upset that you rude. You could have easily said "I'm really sorry, we're closing", and kindly directed me to another store instead of slamming my hand in the gate. Claudia was amazing! I had a last minute photo order that I needed to grab ASAP and the printer wasn't working. Claudia fixed it and gave me an absolutely stunning print in no time. She also gave me an extra discount through my Carepass. She was incredible. Not to mention she had customers waiting on her and she was able to multi-task through it all. I came here on the way home because it's usually not that busy at this location. Karen took my prescription and it was filled in less than 10 minutes! I didn't even finish spending more money on sale items, and they text me. Lol. It's a very small location, but friendlier than most CVS's and no long waits! Parking lot is small and gets busy. This is my FAVORITE CVS to go to NOT open all night....BUT that's because they SELL BOOZE here...and they have a very nice selection to choose from......A whole aisle of wines....and liquor. This CVS doesn't look very appealing from the outside, but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover! As soon as you walk into this location you will see that it is cleaner than most CVS's. The aisles are easy to navigate and the pharmacy itself is very efficient. I haven't had to wait longer than a few minutes when dropping off/picking up a prescription. Perhaps the best part about this particular CVS is its employees, both in the Pharmacy and General Store. Each time I need help, I am always taken care of and pointed in the fight direction. When I check out, the employees are always cheerful and make a simple transaction turn into a friendly interaction. Everyone can appreciate good customer service, and you're sure to find it here at this CVS location. read more

We come here for the pharmacy. Our insurance tells us to use CVS, so we use CVS. Been coming to 6201 Sepulveda Blvd. for years. These pharmacists are very good, esp. Daniela, who knows our names and needs pretty well. We don't buy much else in other parts of the store because they are overpriced. The parking lot is a bit strange; very NARROW parking spaces, so be careful where you park your car. BUT: Getting the pharmacy to answer the phone is next to IMPOSSIBLE. I wrote this entire review while waiting on hold.... and it's not over yet. If you can get the prescription in early, or let the doctor's office do it, that helps. read more

This is the infamous Sepulveda location. You never know what you will see inside/outside of this local!!! I went here Early on a Sunday afternoon so that I wouldn't be acosted by any unmentionable undesireables. I was looking for some Visine. They had more of a selection than the average CVS which was nice to know! The location is very clean. I've been here a couple of other times and it is always busy. Not really much to say about it. I'd only hit this place up if you are out of options and it's light outside. read more

THE WORST CVS EVER!!!!! The shortest waiting time is if are lucky 15 min and the longest u stayed there was almost an hour bc they have no F.... idea of what to do. I used CVS back in Montebello and the customer service was very nice and my prescriptions would have been ready the most with in one day. Since I moved to Van Nuys, thought might as well continue using CVS. First of all the pharmacists are so rude and they are clueless of what they should do. Then it takes the more than two weeks to get the prescription ready. I went to pick up my moms prescription bc I got a text that it was ready and then they said it's still not ready it will becoming "maybe in next to days" Like what kind of answer is this??? And still after five days it wasn't ready. So I tried the following week and the pharmacist said it wasn't ready and only after me getting frustrated it magically was ready! Like seriously can't you actually open your eyes and f..... read! In addition to that they kept my prescription in for four weeks they have one of the drugs 3weeks later and for the second one it kept "coming every other day." And still it was not ready and when I tried to get back the prescription... all of sudden I can't. If you can't provide the necessary drugs why are you accepting the prescriptions from people????? read more

The pharmacist here, who has been working here for a long time (perhaps too long), is RUDE to customers. I don't know which university was dumb enough to grant her a courtesy Pharm-D but no matter how uneducated people in the surrounding area may be, it gives no reason for her to talk back to smiling customers who just want to transfer a prescription there. This CVS is old and this particular pharmacist is sometimes the only person available on the pharmacy staff, which explains the reason it takes half an hour for prescriptions to be filled (unlike the 10 minute average you'd see elsewhere), but she should know better than to strip people of common courtesy and customer service. Because of her I decided to take my prescription elsewhere but I should have said it to her arrogant face. read more

Because everytime I go to this CVS, the girl who fills prescriptions looks at me like I have two heads, and one time, they didn't even fill my prescription because they forgot my name and so of course, they couldn't call it over the loudspeaker! I have only been to this location 3 times. The first two experiences were pleasant. I also came during the day. This time I came late and it's a whole different story. There is only one cashier working and someone at the pharmacy. I came in looking for a vitamin. Couldn't find it. I asked an employee about it and they said that the cashier has to look it up. Well there was a lot of people in line and I didn't want to wait. I went tot the pharmacy go ask and they said to ask the cashier as well. WTF like seriously. Ugh! My wife and I live a few blocks south of this CVS, and we drive an extra mile or so to go to the one on the corner of Burbank and Van Nuys Blvd. This place is a dump, it smells, the shelves are poorly stocked, the parking lot has the tiniest spaces (door dings waiting to happen), there are always scary homeless freaks in and around the store... we don't consider our area to be too bad of a neighborhood, but we always say once you pass the CVS, you're in the ghetto. read more

I've been to this location enough times to call myself a regular and up until tonight Id consider it an over average location. Not anymore. Tonight i feel not only unsatisfied but down right disrespected. I have my cvs card on my phone and needed it to use a coupon but it had died right as I went to pay. After coming in and out trying to find any way to charge it I plugged a charger into the photo area and was than told I was stealing electricity and the "manager" attempted to remove my phone. I expressed my confusion and disagreement towards this and was than told to leave, I thought this to be extreme and refused. He than threatened to call the police because of how emotional this mad me and ACTUALLY DID moments later. This cvs is horrible. I'm learning a lot about cvs and how the customer comes first and try to make the customer happy. Well that's all a lie. I tried to return a nail polish with no receipt for another nail polish and they asked me when I bought it. I said it's about 2 weeks or more. Since I didn't know the direct date to when I would it they couldn't return it. But they can scan it and tell me that this nail polish was bought 4 weeks ago.... And that I can't return it ?????? So upset. They lost a customer. And with all these horrible reviews. I'm sure they will lose more.... read more
