I had a very frustrating experience at Walmart trying to return a car battery that clearly no longer works. The battery won't hold a charge and left me stranded, but the employee refused the return because their testing device said the battery was "good." Instead of listening to the actual issue, they relied completely on the machine and offered no real solution or customer support. I understand policies exist, but when a product is obviously failing in real-world use, customers should be treated with more understanding and respect. Very disappointing experience. Very convenient to refill either online or on the Walmart App. It can be very busy & crowded here especially on the weekends. I do most of my pickups during the week after work. Did you know that Walmart is the largest pharmacy in the country? Their pharmacists and pharmacy technicians do an amazing job to satisfy their customers on a daily basis. What is sad is that, most patients do not understand the "behind the scenes" workings of what it takes to finally execute a prescription that was sent to the pharmacy by your doctor. It is not a slam dunk. When orders arrive, there are often errors that have to be fixed, doctors have to be called for clarification/changes. Is the medication and directions in harmony with the indication. And good luck getting hold of the doctor. Then there are insurance issues that must be rectified so that you do not have a high cost or big copay. The medication has to be checked and rechecked for accuracy, so that you get the exact medication that was prescribed. There are also staffing issues that come into the picture. These are just some factors that determine how soon you can get your meds. There are more. So as a customer, be patient, do not be aggressive, and be thankful you are getting a good deal on your prescription. Finally, appreciate the Pharmacist and the Pharmacy Technicians who work tirelessly, day in day out, to make your health, and your lives, so much better. read more

This is a fantastic pharmacy. Renee, Mohammed, Marck, Dallin, Amber, Gay are all caring and professional workers. Renee even caught a mistake this week my doctor made, which makes me so grateful for her knowledge and experience. Each employee always says hi, goes out of their way to be helpful, and all work efficiently to help customers quickly. My family and I have been using this pharmacy since it opened, for years now, which is why we haven't left for a different pharmacy or an online pharmacy. Appreciate every employee there. read more

Pay attention to the negative reviews for the pharmacy... When I went today (a weekday morning...) they had one employee. I knew there would be a problem (woman working there had a heavy Indian accent don't think I need to expand on it more....) and there was. Waited on line a while only to not get my medications. I was there to pick up 2 that were on one rx and they wouldn't allow me to pick up 1 while holding on to the rx to get the other one elsewhere. Asked for a copy and was told we do not do that here. My reviews now is about how the store is keeping social distancing and how they keep store clean. I love that they are keeping track of how many people are going in AND I didn't get chance to take picture but because it's so hot, they had like outside coverings for shade for customers to keep cool if they have to stand in line to wait to go in. This review is strictly for the Pharmacy inside the Walmart store in Porter Ranch. I had to go here to pick up some prescription medication. While 2 of the prescriptions were covered by insurance, for some reason one of them WASN'T and that one bottle was going to be $192.00. Dayum, crazy. One of the pharmacists decided to help me and see if they could see if the brand name medicine was covered by insurance or even find an alternative. No luck. Then the pharmacist mentioned, "Oh! Why don't you check GoodRX and see if you can get a discount code." I had previously never heard of GoodRX. I looked it up, and sure enough, I was able to get a huge discount! By giving them the code, I was able to get my price from $192 to $69. Amazing. Good lookin out Walmart Pharmacy and Good RX! read more

Always go here... place is well kept and the staff is usually always friendly. Never really had an issue until yesterday. They had boxes piled up on the camping section. We were there specifically for Camping gear but wasn't able to get any that we needed. No one was able to help as well because they couldn't move them. I have been to this place multiple times. Great service and they always accommodating. The staff is super nice and friendly. I really hope that they will carry on this quality service despite being busy. It's not easy to be a pharmacy in the middle of the busy area. I live i Chatsworth but always come here because of the options, the ease of picking my medications, and the courteous staff. Plus I can go shopping while waiting for my prescription to fill. The Walmart is huge and has everything I need Next door to this Walmart are multiple other stores that are conveniently located in the area: Petco, In & Out, just to name a few. This Walmart has enough staff that when I need to ask question, there is always someone around to ask for directions or placement of certain item. read more

The Pharmacy on Fallbrook Av in Woodland Hills is much more efficient. The staff at Porter Ranch seems to care not at all for trying to be helpful. They are very curt and disrespectful and appear to hope you will just go away and not bother them. I am going to go back to Fallbrook Av where they know your name and try to be helpful...Porter Ranch staff should be fired, one and all. This is my pharmacy for years and I am usually happy about how staff including pharmacists treating customers. Especially Barnard is my favorite pharmacist. I dropped my prescription off this morning and one lady that I never seen before at the drop off counter was not really helpful neither enthusiastic about helping customers. I might have to think about going to other Walmart pharmacists in Simi Valley. If any employees are not helping as bad as she did, this place will definitely lose customers. Pharmacy supposed to be more friendly than doctors office. I am so disappointed. But she was one time only and probably the pharmacy was feeling the same, they fired her. Now I am so happy that Barnard and one European pharmacist is very good too. She caught a few times when internal medicine give me a bad combination prescription with my current medications. She was disrespectful and would even tell me cant you compute the total of your medication?!!She will breatg deeply and will sigh like can you do it? She would even tell me i cant refill the medication, I told her an automated call already callled me, she is so lazy and racist! Last weekend I used Walmart Pharmacy for the first time because my normal pharmacy was out of the correct prescription dosage of antibiotics that I needed to get filled for my daughter, & not only were Walmart's prescriptions more expensive, but the pharmacist didn't even fill the prescription correctly or tell me accurate information after charging me $83.00 for it! Upon receiving my daughter's prescription & having the routine consultation with the pharmacist regarding the prescription, he told to me to use the antibiotics for 7 days, & preceded to tell me how much to give her each time, & even showed me where that dosage would be on the syringe they provided me. He also told me I would have medication left after the 7 days, & to just dispose it. Today marks day 6 & I just had enough to give her the correct dosage this morning...Tonight her dosage will be way under, & tomorrow she will not get it at all nor will there be any "leftover" as he told me there would be. Needless to say, I will not be using Walmart Porter Ranch's Pharmacy again, & I caution people when filling their prescriptions, to check them as best you can if they're pills, & if it's liquid like mine was, well fingers crossed you get the right amount. read more
