I called multiple times over the following weeks and was repeatedly told that the "billing department was working on it," but no one ever followed up or resolved the issue. By 11/3 -- three weeks later -- the situation was still unresolved. Because of the overcharge, I couldn't afford to refill my regular medication and am going through severe withdrawal symptoms. When I called again for help, Jasmine said they'd send an emergency supply but that billing was still working on the issue. I was told someone would call me "by the end of tomorrow," but at this point, I'm not optimistic. I switched from CVS and Walgreens to support a small, local business, hoping for better care and personal service. Instead, I was met with indifference and even had a staff member hang up on me mid-conversation when I tried to explain what happened. I had to call back and was treated with attitude and zero compassion. Pharmacies are supposed to care about their patients' wellbeing. This experience has been incredibly stressful, financially damaging, and medically unsafe. I truly hope management takes this seriously and improves their customer service and billing practices.

A couple of odd things are that the pharmacy closes for lunch while the store is open and the store and the pharmacy have different opening and closing times (the store opens earlier and closes later). This is definitely inconvenient and hard to know before you go. It used to be that these large drug stores had 24 hour pharmacies which is a godsend when you have a sick child at home who needs medicine right away, but I guess those days are long gone :( Merchandise and Selection 2 stars: While officially a drug store, besides the customary pharmacy items (prescription and OTC drugs, vaccines/shots), they carry a bit of everything to resemble a huge general store or convenience store: soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, snacks, batteries, make-up, toiletries, chocolate and gifts, gift cards, photo services, personal electronics accessories, etc. etc., you name it! Set up is a bit chaotic and "all over the place" and it is not easy to find things. Sometimes you will see items such as (for example) reading glasses on multiple stands scattered throughout the store. Prices 2 stars: Pharmacy and OTC drugs' prices are on par with other pharmacies and drug stores. Everything else is priced like you would see at a Walgreens in a touristy area in Hollywood, Vegas or Waikiki, except that this is suburban residential Porter Ranch :D. I sometimes wonder who buys non-pharmacy items from CVS since there are so many better options nearby. They do every once in a while have great specials and coupons, but you need to be on constant lookout to find out about them. The Last Word 2.5 stars: Great for the convenience of filling and refilling prescriptions and when you need something in a jiffy. Proximity to my house and parking are great also!

I found parking easily in the Devonshire Reseda Shopping Center this store is located in. When I walked inside the store, they were not busy at all. I saw no one was working the photo department and they already had one other guest waiting. They also took out the call for assistance button. So I went to the cashier to ask if anyone working the photo department. He basically just walked over there and handed the first guest his picture print. He then handed me the one he said was mine but when I checked, it wasn't my print and wasn't my name. He then got frustrated and left to go back to the cashier so I had to wait for another worker to come. My picture wasn't even put in the envelope, it was still at the printer area so the worker had to find it. This experience was bad but it seems like all Walgreens are like this now, the call for assistance button was helpful when they had it.
