However, that was not the case for me this time around as I had already placed my order online and needed to pick it up. Went to the pharmacy here. It was quick and easy. The pharmacist helped me and did not look up or at me even a single time while she was helping me to the point that at first I thought she was blind. Then I realized she could see fine.. Maybe eye contact or being looked at is too much to ask these days but it made it feel weird. read more

We bought a $100 gift card and apparently it is a known issue that people scratch off the last 4 digits of the card number as well as the security code and masterfully put it back into the packaging. Since there aren't any phone numbers to the store, I had to drive there only to be told there is nothing they can do. As it stands, I am out $100 plus the $6.95 activation fee. I was given the wrong number to call to tey and claim my money, had to drive back to the store again, only to find out the "offices are closed". If this is a known issue, perhaps, instead of locking $5 lipstick and deodorant lock these cards to protect your consumers. Obviously I lose the $106.95...thankfully the store is protected from the loss of a stolen lipstick. Disappointed read more

It's incredibly challenging to find an employee. Most of the good items are locked away, leading to long lines and confusion among the employees. They clearly need more training. This location is terrible because it takes an eternity to get anything, and the stock is also very low . read more

I wish I could give this store a minus rating ! The CVS staffers on duty today, including acting manager Jody, flat out refused to honor one of their own mailer coupons for 40 % off one item , which would have amounted to about $ 7 . The reason : they stated that I had used it already. Impossible since it must be surrendered in the self checkout bin or handed to a cashier. When they refused the first time, they stated that if they overrided the system, they would get written up . Also impossible since I have had stores in Studio City AND Sherman Oaks override in similar cases. The staff then gave me a 1-800 number to call, where I was placed on hold for 1 hour and 25 minutes ( see picture). After such time I was able to get resolution and a credit a little over the amount the coupon would have given me. Meanwhile , I had already left the store , leaving my items on the counter in frustration. Obviously I recommend NOT patronizing this store due to their poor customer service. The store staff should have been proactive and called CVS' customer service number for me. They also should not have me or any other customer waiting in the store over an hour for a mere $ 7. The only redeeming quality of this store was their Lotto machine was working , but I was so upset I didnt use it ! I have been a loyal customer at this CVS since it opened many years ago. Initially, the staff was friendly, but after COVID-19, the quality of service declined significantly. I understand the difficulty in hiring and retaining good employees, but I cannot ignore the unacceptable treatment I received during my recent visit. As a disabled person, I was subjected to rude behavior, bordering on harassment, by a cashier who refused to answer my questions, said she had a mental illness, and told me to leave the store because I didn't treat her like a human being, which shocked me. I am always very polite and patient with people, especially in service settings. She also claimed her mental health issues came from working with people. While I sympathize with her situation, her conduct was inappropriate and unacceptable. CVS needs to address this issue and consider assigning her to a role that does not involve customer interaction to prevent further mistreatment. read more

Do you recommend this business? Absolutely not. First off: no karts and no hand baskets aren't available. They don't own either one and I came in there for cases of water. I was offered a carry out but I chose to look for something small I could carry myself. I looked through the body wash section but I noticed several bottles seemed to be lighter than others and I suppose they spilled at one point but why not disregard them and remove them from the shelf. I want to tell you about the customer experiences dealing with the employees. They all are so sweet and full of personality. I can tell they all got along with one another. They spoke to me in the correct way and I felt they were all genuine people. I don't believe I will ever go back to this location. The parking lot is very easy and there are wide spots. I don't recommend it for the elderly if they need to hold onto a kart to shop. I also don't recommend it if you need something heavy like cases of water. Only come here for something you can easily put in your pockets. read more

I don't like giving negative reviews, especially because it doesn't matter anyways for large chains, but I just wanted this as a psa to the manager. The staff members are not great at customer service. It's like i have to pull pins and needles to get an $5 beauty item unlocked and checked out. I went around the whole store looking for one employee to unlock an item, and they were busy stocking shelves, so they told me they would meet me in the aisle I needed help in after they were done completing their task. I waited around for 10 minutes before searching for another employee, only to be met with the greatest sigh in the world, followed by a snarky remark because I didn't state the item I needed help with, and they didn't have the key on-hand. This is not the first time that I have gone to this pharmacy to pick up a prescription, and been told that they do not have it. Then they will offer a partial refill. This is the worst CVS pharmacy I've been to to be utterly honest. Please train your staff to provide accurate information and give customer excellent service in the future. Seriously. I had a couples of terrible incidents here, let me tell you: Incident 1: I came over the pharmacy once at 6:02 pm and they closed at 6 pm. They would not help me out. WOW. Incident 2: I came here to get a covid booster shot, the sign at the front door said they welcome walk ins. I went up to the counter and they said I have to make an appointment. Contradicting much? Incident 3: I called CVS Pharmacy to check on the status of my medication on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 9:47 AM. They informed me that the medication will not be available to be picked up until February 23, 2022. I could not make it on the 23rd to pick up my medication, so I went on the 24th to pick it up. CVS Pharmacy would not allowed me to pick up my medication because my medication has a timed window to pick up this particular medication. They told me I have to go through my doctor again. Given the situation, CVS should have my medication ready before the last day to pick it up - not on the last day and give me that one day to pick it up. It was extremely careless of this CVS pharmacy as it could have resulted a suspension of this particular mediation for several weeks and I would be without the medication. Overall: I am very reluctant to come back to this CVS again. read more

Usually, I have no problem with this pharmacy. I walk in and immediately I am greeted by a friendly "hello" . Something like this has never happened before. My little brother and I were looking at bouncy balls and him, being a kid, picks up the ball and starts bouncing it. Then this rude employee comes out of nowhere and, very aggressively says, "Stop playing with the balls in the store." And, I understand why she didn't want my brother to do that, but she could've handled it better. My little brothers asks her why and she goes, "because we don't want you to make a mess." How are we gonna make a mess with bouncy balls?! My brother was a kid, she should've understood that and handled it less aggressivel. I went to this location to buy a few vitamins and some other items, and I needed to use the restroom. I asked an employee where they were and a very rude elderly lady with glasses and white hair said "we don't have public restroom, McDonald or Starbucks" I then said "you don't have any for customers either? I'm going to shop here" and very rudely replied "understood! McDonald or Starbucks". First, what cvs doesn't have restrooms for their customers? I shop at cvs quite frequently and I've never seen one that doesn't Secondly, if that was the case she should let customers know nicely. The pharmacist are nice and polite when I picked up medication. The only thing is that when it's cold and flu season most Tylenol and other meds get sold out just like other stores but I like picking up my families medications here because the service has been good overall and I have no complaints plus they're open until 8pm the pharmacy read more

A brand location that opened 5 months ago. Everything still looks new and the carpet still has that new carpet smell. The store has a great layout and everything is well organized and clean. I wanted to give a huge thank you to Josie who was working 7/9/24 at around 2:30. I am very particular about scents and asked her if they had a specific deodorant in stock. Rather than telling me they don't (they were fixing the deodorant aisle at the time), she went to the back and showed me a ton of options. She did not have to do all that at all, but she did. Neat and organized store, meeting CVS store standards,. What makes this one exceptional, are both daytime and evening managers. They work hard to help customers, when employees don't have the capacity to solve any problems. I go to this store during evening times often. When I see Harlow, the evening manager, I know that my shopping will be stress free and fast. He looks for items, helps with photo printing challenges, gives helpful advises and directions. So I often come by this area a lot and finally they just open the CVS store over the weekend. I am very excited. As I walked in I was greet right a way. Everything was so organized and neatly displayed. I was looking for double sided tape and a young lady there helped me. I forgot to ask for her name, but she was sweet and very helpful. Tapes was in aisle 10. It was cheaper than the overpriced Rites Aids. The gentleman "Pierre" in front helped me and was very kind. I even applied for a CVS cards for greater discount in the near future The store was very quiet the music was not play loud that's good. It has laminated wood floor around and carpet in the middle. They have snacks, food, cans good and also alcohols. For sure I will be coming here if I'm in the area again. Keep up the great works CVS team! read more

I've always had great luck with CVS when I've shopped at their locations. They have what I need in stock, and the prices are reasonable. This location is clean, well staffed with friendly employees, and even though the store was very busy the day of my visit (last day before Valentine's Day) they kept the lines moving in a fast and friendly manner. Also, this store is much larger than it appears from the outside. Across the parking lot, sits one of my favorite old watering holes, the Sugar Suite, which I hope will be reopening soon. Since the previous manager left this pharmacy things had gone BAD!! The customer service of the store is good but the manager of the pharmacy is the biggest LIER, disrespectful, dishonest I had ever had the misfortune to come across. He continues to LIE about not getting my medication, we don't get enough, we can get it any where, you have to call all the pharmacist in The Valley. He is so corrupt that I was in line not long ago he didn't see me, he gave a customer the same medication I need I asked him why is this other person getting the medication and he said I have to make choices and the potions from the ER are first , them I fallow this potion I asked did you went to the ER she NO, my regular Dr. other the medication. I have been Patiño and with time have talk to several people that go to CVS and all of them said the same thing ; the new manager is a LIER, has problems with some people from other countries. I had 5 back surgeries, it is not my fault that the last two make the problem worse, I go to physical therapy, walk, exercise at home and counseling because it is hard to know that my back will never get better, and in top of all have deal with a pharmacist that believe that he knows more than a surgeon. Even some of the people that work with this manager have been honest enough to let me know that he is not to be trusted at all and more and more complains keep are receive because of him but nothing is been done to correct the situation. read more

There are 4 CVS pharmacies that are closer but this one has the best service, techs, and pharmacists. It is worth the extra drive. They have ordered medicine same day when needed, while other stores seem to only be able to order 1-2 times a week. read more
