In the past I have had so many issues with this CVS. They were rude and arrogant, just unpleasant staff to deal with ( in the Pharmacy department only). Yet, I went into today and they were great! There was a really nice older guy and he saw I was confused as to how the line worked and instead of yelling at me or being rude; he politely smiled and asked me to please wait one second over on the drop off side. Even the next two people ( pharmacist and pick up cashier) were polite and friendly. I was shocked and amazed, because any other time the staff looked half dead and angry. But they put on their A game this time, so I applaud you for being helpful and nice. Keep it up! read more

This pharmacy definitely went out of their way for me. I was discharged from the ER and showed up 5 minutes before closing and the pharmacist and staff stayed late to fill my prescription. *****************THIS REVIEW IS FOR CVS PHARMACY INSIDE OF TARGET********** I brought my 3 med script in this afternoon and was told it would be 30 minutes. I came back for my medications 5 hours later and was told at that time one medication was not covered because, it was over the allotted time for renewal. I questioned exactly what that meant, as in, "how many pills, how many days" and I was told by the stupid dumb-girl and possibly the "pharmacist" that they didn't know. THEY DIDN'T KNOW. So let me get this straight: you enter in the info of insurance and medication and you get back an answer on coverage that exceeds my allotment????????? and you don't question it? You don't because, it's easer to just ask me to pay cash for it than do your job and question exactly what the nature of the allotment is. As a matter of fact, why didn't you call me in the 5 hours you held the prescription and tell me that it wasn't going to be covered. I asked for my prescription back as it was becoming apparent to me that the 3 dumb girls where not going lift a finger to clarify their mistake or their lack of knowledge regarding why this mediation was not covered. Realizing, I am dealing with uneducated technicians who have no experience in dealing with insurances, doctors, nurses, or higher education for that matter, I immediately called with my insurance who looked up what CVS Pharmacy Imputed in the computer. They erroneously entered the prescription as a 12 day cycle WHICH WAS NOT ON THE SCRIPT. It was made up. It was for 12 pills only. Once the insurance entered that it was 12 pills in 4 days the insurance covered the prescription. These women who work behind the counter have no experience what so ever! If you have a notion you are being charged for something that is usually covered; it's because they did something wrong so they can charge you cash. I ended outpacing my prescription down the street one block over and got the prescription filled in less than 10 minutes. read more

I just had a terrible experience at CVS in Valencia, CA. I am so upset. Their customer service and the manager on duty were cold and unaccommodating. We had a 20% off coupon off entire purchase but did not have our CVS card. When I went back with the number, they would not give us the cash back from our receipt (we spent $100). They said we would have to return everything and buy it again. They never asked for a phone number to associate card with. We are older and have shopped here for almost 30 years. The customer service has declined and they have minimal staff. Just very unwelcoming and we will never shop there again. Any other retail store here would have given us our 20% back with our receipt. Used to come in to use the restroom and sometimes buy needed items. They have now locked down the restrooms for some reason so that a code is required. One of the staff has to enter the code for you to get to it. Of course they are all busy and so no one comes to let you in. Needless to say I will not stop by anymore. read more

I usually don't leave reviews for chain stores but this particular location has the worst service ever! There was a promotional offer on CVSphotos.com where you could get 50 prints for $5. I also ordered one 5x7 print. When I got to the store to pickup my order, I handed the cashier my conformation print-out. She called the manager and I had to go to another register. I wait about 10 minutes and then finally the manager comes. She says the total is $10. I told her I had the promotional offer. She has me go to another register and it'll be taken care of. This is the MANAGER of the store mind you. Not only does it say the promotional amount on my print-out but also INSIDE the booklet where the photos are. I go to the other register and I just happened to notice that the 5x7 print has a huge scratch over my wife's face. I tell the person I don't want the photo. She says they can re-print it but I've already been in the store for 20 minutes now and I don't want to wait any longer so I cancel the 5x7 completely. I hand the woman my print-out and she asks "what is this?" She then bothers to look at it and sees that it is my conformation print-out. After several minutes of messing with the register, she says my total is $10 again! I tell her I had the online promotional offer. She messes with the register some more and then finally charges me the right amount. I say thank you and her response is "Uh huh." Stay away from here! Get your prints at Wal-Greens!!! read more

Went to pick up about $25 of photos today at CVS. I check the photos outside and realize I am missing one photo but I have 2 other peoples photos of 10 pics each in my order. When I bring them back to CVS, there was no "thanks" for returning them. The blonde lady with glasses was not very nice. She told me I can use there system to print another photo. I told the lady that I had never used machine before. She said "don't worry I will help you" (a lie). It took me forever to find picture in my library on phone to print. I had no idea where it prints to. When the lady still isn't helping me. I went up to counter to tell her I have been waiting for the picture that says "prints in seconds", she goes over to get it (around corner from where I placed order and goes "you don't have to be nasty". Not only was she nasty, rude and a liar, she called me who have been frustrated wasting my time on CVS's mistake! What a joke of a worker! read more

Waiting on phone for about an hour, no human will answer. Was inquiring about my medication. Finally went to store, that was quicker than trying to talk w/someone. Got prescription and the Consulting window was soooooo slow, I just left. Now I've tried to call and ask about my medication, been on hold again for 35 min. still waiting. You might as well put it on speaker phone and do chores. My opinion is they do not care about their customers as they claim to. FRUSTRATING. We are just a number and $$$. read more

I had mixed experiences here, but I have to say Barbara in the pharmacy bent over backwards to help be with a particularly difficult prescription. When another prescription could not be obtained, the other staff made a great effort to help us get things worked out. I guess its all in who you talk to, like anything else in life. read more

I walked in CVS PHARMACY SIDE this morning and because I was on my cell I didn't approach the counter drop offside immediately but I handled my call approached the counter and the woman behind the counter who I won't name only because I need to change my prescription to another location first, saw me there and said nothing!!! So I said ok.. "Good morning" hoping she would react and acknowledge me... First words were "may I help you" great but I did say good morning the polite response would have been "good morning may I help you" but no, however I appreciated the "may I help" you until I was talking and she interrupted me and just asked for my last name. Not ok with me you see, I like to be acknowledge first of all second, I hate to be interrupted and worst after that she just never looked at me talked to me as she looked at her screen and only asked me 2 questions and said "20 minutes did you want to wait" I said "yes" she said "ok" nothing else from her not have a good day... Not we will call you just OK! Well then I still showed my manners and said THANK YOU to which ... You guessed she said nothing!!! Fast forward 5 min I hear my name on the intercom to go to pharmacy... I go the cashier was just as rude!!! OMG people do you go through freaking customer service class to be F-ing rude or does it come naturally to you??? I can't even tell you about her lack of effort her lack of manners but man oh man for being a young lady I feel sorry for her life because if that is what she has chosen for a career she will never get anywhere. Needless to say NOT GOING BACK!!! Should have done some Yelp research before I walked in there... Being that most of the bad ratings come from customers who used the pharmacy side. To be clear yelp needs to provide half stars or negative stars. They are not worthy of even a single star but yikes I hope my comment is read and it's useful. Well just an isolated incident, when getting passport pictures, review them. I was taken some there and they were blurry, they wouldn't accept them; so I had to go there and as for my money back. Luckily they understood and promptly they gave me my money back. read more

I use this pharmacy because of convenience, I shouldn't be so lazy! Daniel has bailed them put more times than I can count. He is the youngest one working who has a passion for what he does!!! They have helped me in a pinch a couple times but that doesn't make up for the 5-6 major messes they have caused. Tami the front end asst. mgr. goes above and beyond. If I could separate the store from pharmacy the rating would be different. Basically,if you want convenience buy Tylenol while there for the headache you leave there with. I never get medications here, I usually only go in for cards or other small items that are needed when i do not want to go elsewhere. On Wednesday, November 28, I called this store to see whether they had a particular item in stock. My intention was to swing by and pick it up on my way home for my sick husband. I spoke to Bryan. He said they had the item in stock. I asked whether they had plenty of them (this is a special battery that is not overly stocked at any drugstore and you cannot get them at a grocery store). He said "Yes we do but if you want I can hold one for you at the register". I was impressed at his offer and agreed, giving him my name and the approximate time I would be there (barring any major traffic from my commute). I swung by, walked in, located Bryan, waited in a line for other people to finish their purchases. I told Bryan my name and that I was there to pick up the battery. His words were that "I put it aside with your name on it but 'she' sold it out from under you". I was surprised and said "excuse me?" He repeated what he told me. I then said "Ok. please show me where they are in the store and I will go get another one". He then informs me that they are "out of stock". I stated that he specifically told me that they had "plenty in stock" when I spoke to him earlier. He told me he "never said that". Basically accusing me of lying! I said he indeed told me that. He repeated that he did not. I looked at him and just said "WOW" and walked out. Customer service? Not even close. Thanks for nothing CVS. It's amazing this store is still in business. I now really truly think it's because of their location. That's all it can be. I think I will stick to Walgreens. read more

I understand that most people would not take the time to make an accurate assessment of a person with whom they interacted for a brief time. However, if one did take the time, they would see that Ryan who works the pharmacy is a kind and thoughtful person. I have a chronic disease and spend a lot of time at CVS getting my prescriptions. As a result of that, I am able to observe Ryan's interactions with many of his regular customers. He remembers almost everybody's names and treats them all with respect and concern. I also have the opportunity to see the customers who are incredibly rude to him and to be quite frank, I wouldn't blame him for giving back attitude. So, the next time you are in there or are dealing with a person who you have labeled a "pompus jack-ass"...perhaps ask yourself what YOUR attitude was like when you walked up to the counter. read more

Very frustrating. I brought in receipts from two others CVS store locations and 5 rain checks from another CVS location. This CVS refused to price match and honor the sale demonstrated on the receipts I showed, even though they were from CVS! It was a great sale on diapers, but this CVS said they don't price match, even other CVS locations. Sad to say that they lost a loyal customer over a few bucks.. read more

What a crazy hour. Came to cvs to print pictures with my girlfriend. The machines gave us an immense amount of trouble. We spent an hour to get a product that should have taken no longer than 10 minutes. The reason for the 4 stars are because of a great gentlemen named Charles who helped us out tremendously. There was also an awesome woman who came and reset the computers for us. Charles kept the doors open for us 10 minutes after cvs closed. They make you feel like you don't know what you're talking about just to find out they are wrong from the beginning. Needs new staff or customer service training. It was with great regret in 2009 that this location became a CVS. Since that time, nearly all the former (long-term staff) have departed. The once friendly customer service has evaporated, and the selection/quality of products diminished. (It appears CVS has forsaken its former customers so as to focus on packaged beer sales.) The pharmacy staff's attitude is somewhere between antagonistic and benign neglect. The once easy check out process has disappeared. (Perhaps they should issue customers a flare gun or bullhorn upon entering the store.) A recent (and probable) final visit went like this: was looking for bar soap, which I could not find on the shelf. Found a clerk, and asked where the bar soap was. Response: what's bar soap? Very disappointed with the service. I had a prescription transferred because the CVS near my house did not have it available. The CVS near my house advised there was a coupon which would bring the cost down from $125 to $15. The prescription was not ready when I was told it would be and they were going to charge me $125 with no mention of the coupon. Poor service. I advised the manager and he could barely give me the time of day to explain. He actually started walking away while I was explaining the issue. Drive the extra few miles to the CVS at Seco Cnyn and Copper Hill. Much nicer and way better service! read more

Decent location. Totally forgot his name, but the cashier was super nice and friendly. When I entered, there was a long line and one cashier, when I was done shopping (5 mins later), there was 3 cashiers (including one manager) and the line had been diminished. I was actually surprised and happy that they have enough sense to try and get the customers in and out asap because a lot of stores have issues with that. read more

I read negative things about this place on my over. And was instantly surprised with the exceptional customer service the moment I entered the door. I was greeted by the cashier instantly. And Joseph the manager helped me with my photo order. The app when placing the order cut my sons invitations off and Joseph sat there with me patiently and helped me redo them. He didn't have to. In fact it was my mistake. Joseph tried everything to get them to come out perfect. And I truly appreciate it. I sat in there for quite sometime but that's okay. We weren't able to get it perfect, but Joseph made sure I was happy before I left. I looked for him to say thank you. But I couldn't find him. So I thought I would leave this instead. :) customer service goes a long way, you never know what kind of day someone is having and just being a good human makes any employee an asset to their company. I have been going to this CVS for years. I have received great customer service in both the retail and pharmacy sections. Kudos to the pharmacy. They always greet me with a friendly hello and sometimes address me by my name as I am waiting in line. This really makes me feel like my business is appreciated. read more

The worst ever pharmacy!!! Never ready when you call ahead. Rude people working in the pharmacy except for the older two ladies that take the prescriptions.. Never have medications you need. You call and ask if it's ready they tell you yes then you go there and it's not and still make you wait another 45 mins.. Terrible.. read more

Find a different pharmacy! On multiple occasions cvs has provided Epi pens that expire in 9 months or less. Recently I was also given an inferior product as a substitute for an auvi q prescription. It does not work the same, the needle does not retract, no trainer is provided, and product does not provide audio instructions. When requested return/refund, person named Tamar argued with me instead of politely discussing. They also didn't know the difference between products. Even if there is a problem they will not refund or return is what they told me. So check your prescription carefully, watch for inferior prescription substitutions. And if you have a problem don't expect a return/refund. read more

Ordered 5 calendars in the middle of Dec. Went in after Xmas to check on them. Even though I had a receipt with order and tracking number the calendars were never ordered. I'm not blaming CVS for this, what I am blaming them for is the terrible I customer service when dealing with it. After waiting around a half and hour for Joe to call around and find out where they were I asked him if he would call me so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. He took my number. I hadn't heard from him in over an hour so I went back in there. I saw him working in one of the aisle. When he saw me you could tell that he was saying to himself,"oh, I forgot to call her". He presides to tell me that even though I had all my documentation, the system didn't have it. I asked him what they were going to do for me? Besides being Xmas presents I had spent over and hour there making them. He said you can reorder them. I said, are you going to give me some kind of a discount if I do? He could not say yes or no. He said I would have to wait till I got them and see then what the store would do. That's terrible. He didn't call a manager, (I think he might have been the manager). He seemed very uncompassionate about the whole thing. I will never shop there again. I worked for Sav On drugs all through high school and college and I learned a lot about customer service. These people need to learn about what that is. read more

Worse Pharmacy EVER! I work in the healthcare field and I was horrified at the lack of customer service at this store. I went in looking for Children's Tylenol (which should be pretty easy to find at a pharmacy) and could not find what I needed. I walked up and down each aisle looking for someone to help, and found no one, went to ask the pharmacist but they were super busy. Went up front and STOOD IN LINE to ask the "cashier" only to be told, wait just a moment and I'll help you. She proceeded to help the next 2 customers behind me in line, THEN helped some lady who wanted to complain about her CVS rewards!! None of this time did she bother to call anyone to help. All this time she spent talking to some older lady about her CVS rewards bucks, 4 MORE people got in line behind her. Meanwhile I keep waiting, then I over hear this "cashier" tell the old lady that she is actually the manager of the store!!!! Not acceptable behavior from a manager. I manage a health care facility and I WOULD NEVER give that kind of customer service. Needless to say I walked out, and will not be returning. Instead of going here (right on the corner of my house) I would rather drive a few miles to Walgreens. read more
