CVS can be found in The Summit shopping plaza. The store was nice to send me a coupon for 40% off one item in their store. I decided to use the coupon for a new tube of sunscreen. Sunscreen is much needed just about anywhere you live. It is especially required in our hot desert climate, Shared parking lot. read more

The stand alone CVS at N Scottsdale and Ashler Hills is terrific now. The front door is across the parking lot from Blu Burger. There were lengthy waits at the pharmacy in the past. The staff has changed in the pharmacy, and it's very different and fast now. There is a drive-through also. As a combatted of fact, a prescription that was called in 10 minutes ago, just got filled as I type this/text message alert! Obviously they cannot control how many people show up at the same time. In recent visits, only a few people or none, were at the pharmacy waiting. The store manager is amazing. He is up front usually and just makes everything easy and quick. Such a nice man and so knowledgeable. A few days ago there was a new young man helping people up front, same, efficient, very kind and helpful. Wow, what a pleasant surprise these days! If you go before sunset, when you come outside, you'll be treated to a dazzling sunset. Great clean store, great prices and many sale items, highly recommended! read more

Their customer service sucks and is the worst I have ever seen in a pharmacy. They can have five people waiting in line and only one employee helping the people in the store while six other employees are filling prescriptions for people who aren't even there yet. In-store customers are the top priority. Whenever there is more than one person waiting in line, they should always have two employees handling customers at the counter, but they never do. I have spoken to management several times and they refuse to change their practices. Like I said above, their customer service is the worst I have ever seen in my life. read more

Pharmacist told me on the phone I would have no issues purchasing needle to inject my medication when I pick it up. The other cvs always sells them to me to go along with my medication. Anyone can purchase needles from amazon and Walmart. This pharmacist here told me I needed a prescription. My injectable medication is obviously useless without a needle. read more

If you are on insulin, beware here. They pharmacist insisted on selling me a vial of insulin which she considered a '90 day supply.' Unfortunately, once the vial is opened the insulin company indicates it automatically expires in 28 days. It appeared this '90 day supply' was done to charge a higher copay. Not sure where she got her education, but telling someone their insulin vial is a 90 day supply, which insinuates it is going to be good for the full 90 days even after opened, could be detrimental and life threatening to patients. Plenty of other pharmacies around and we won't be going back to this one. read more

Prescriptions do NOT expire on the dates that CVS says they do. But in order to make you waste medication, drive up the price of meds, and waste more money on new prescriptions, they LIE and write a date that is a year or more earlier than what the original says that it expires. Further, the dates on original bottles are also lies, and they misrepresent the length of time that prescriptions are good for --by years. I have asked CVS several times to NOT open up the containers that the pills come in when my RX calls for more than one container. But they continue to shorten the shelf life on my medications by opening up the bottles, rather than doing what any sensible and reasonable person would do: only put the excess number of pills in a CVS container without opening up and transferring the pills to another not air tight container of theirs when I need more than one container! STOP PUTTING my prescriptions in your containers when my prescription calls for more than one container! HEED the instructions I have given several times, but are failing to read in the computer; NEVER give me your containers when you can give me the original container my medication came in. read more

After a terrible series of experiences at the CVS pharmacy on Tatum and dynamite, I went to this pharmacy to give CVS one last shot. What a difference. Staff was friendly, attentive, and I was able to get everything I needed taken care of within 10 minutes. I highly recommend this pharmacy. read more

My son and I went up there to get an elbow support and online it shows $15.79 but of course we get inside and it's $21.79 . They would not honor the price. But if I ordered it, it would be ready for pick up in two hours at the $15 price. Asked for the manager and she says we don't honor that online price even though it's their store!!!! Either someone at your corporate office or at your current store needs to get with the game plan. You guys can't be that stupid.And rude! So we went to target and got a better one cheaper. CVS is so expensive. Do your homework don't go there. They're just dumb.!!!!!' I wouldn't even give it one star. But I had no choice. I also plan to move my prescriptions from there. Even as a customer I'm always treated kind and with respect from the employees of CVS. I come by to grab an energy drink and some products for my wife. Hours posted are not correct. It's 1:31pm and I stopped to quickly pick up my prescription. Was told that they are having lunch and I have to come back in an hour. They could stagger lunches and breaks to make sure they could continue to help people or update there "open" hours. Anyway, it's really not that tough to transfer to a different pharmacy. read more

At the pharmacy, maybe they could be a little more friendly, courteous, and act like they care a little bit.

Pharmacist is so rude and discourteous. Clerical staff are wonderful. Need to change to Walgreens or certainly somewhere else!!

Always very helpful staff & clean welcoming store. If I can't find something someone will always assist in helping find it.

Update 6/9/21 - After waiting over 72 hours, I get a call that the Covid test was mishandled and there is NO RESULT! Don't use CVS for Covid testing if you need accurate results in a timely manner. Our Walgreens results were ready in less than hour multiple times. We won't use CVS again. read more

Pharmacy at this location is not helpful. If i wasn't forced to use cvs - i wouldn't. Will change to a different cvs location further away going forward. They never check call in prescriptions in a timely manner . If there is an issue with a prescription they have a an apathetic attitude in resolving an issue in order to get the medication dispensed. When i have to go in I usually end up picking up other items, there are better places to buy from. read more

Hard to access. Went back 4 times for a prescription. Told medication was on order for 2 days later then got text it was ready in one hour. Had to drive back. Store credits or discounts are on some sort of app that is bizarre. read more

We have utilized this CVS for many years experiencing great customer service with friendly staff. It has become apparent over the past year that this is no longer the reality as the staff expresses that the customer is an inconvenience. Very S-L-O-W. Show little interest in retaining long-time customers. Phone answering machine is terrible. Not usable by cell phones, since it requires multiple key strokes which is not possible when in an automobile. When the right connection is made - no one cares to answer. I was in the doctor's office when the call was made for my prescription; however when I arrived (and stood in line for almost 10 minutes) was told that the order had just arrived. Think I need to look for a more responsive pharmacy. read more

The cashiers are super friendly and nice to talk to! They greet me whenever I enter the door and seem to care about you!

My wife and I are heading to Hawaii which requires a negative Covid-19 test to avoid a 10 day quarantine. We needed the test results 72 hours before leaving...CVS advertises 24-48 hour turnaround on testing so we scheduled a test on the Sunday before our flight on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no results...we had to quarantine in Hawaii for 10 days because CVS did not do their job. I got a call on Friday morning from someone at CVS stating the lab had a mixup and my sample could not be tested. My wife got a similar call saying the lab lost our samples and our credit card would be reimbursed...and "sorry for the inconvenience". So a 12 day stay in Hawaii ended up being 10 days quarantined and two days to enjoy the island...yeah...sorry for the inconvenience? It wouldn't let me give them a "0" in the star category...but you get the picture. DON'T USE CVS FOR ANYTHING YOU NEED TO HAVE ON TIME! read more

I have been using this pharmacy at 32331 Summit Plaza in Scottsdale for 4 years and their service has been getting worse in the last year. The people seem to have no desire to do the job they are hired for. It seems that go to extremes to ignore the people waiting at the counter. I have waited over 2 or 3 minutes at times while the employees wander around behind the counter. Last night when I went to pick up my prescription I walked up at the same time one of their workers did to ask the pharmacist a question. Instead of waiting on me, their customer the pharmacist walked right past me and off with the employee who was only asking if they had a particular product in stock so she could put it on the shelf, not helping a customer on the floor looking for something. Number 1, that was pretty rude and number 2, she could of at least acknowledged to one of the other 2 people in the back that there was a customer instead of letting me stand there another 2 or 3 minutes to be waited on. I have spent a considerable amount of money at this pharmacy over the last 4 years and because of this experience I have decided that I no longer want to be treated in this manner. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to a new pharmacy. No regrets in doing so. read more
