I recently switched back to Walgreens to be closer but they are terrible and cannot fill prescriptions in a timely fashion. Always waiting days for the simplest items. Make sure you plan ten days for a refill. There are great people that try to help but the staff seems perpetually overwhelmed. They clearly need more people for this location. I believe this is a corporate issue. I had the last straw today. I have been waiting days for post procedure med. Got a message that says I have to wait three more days. Switched to Walmart this afternoon and received notice my script is already filled. (It has been one hour). Will not be back to this pharmacy.

The staff has changed in the pharmacy, and it's very different and fast now. There is a drive-through also. As a combatted of fact, a prescription that was called in 10 minutes ago, just got filled as I type this/text message alert! Obviously they cannot control how many people show up at the same time. In recent visits, only a few people or none, were at the pharmacy waiting. The store manager is amazing. He is up front usually and just makes everything easy and quick. Such a nice man and so knowledgeable. A few days ago there was a new young man helping people up front, same, efficient, very kind and helpful. Wow, what a pleasant surprise these days! When I paid via CC, it automatically chose premium-charging me an extra 50 cents per gallon. I spoke to an employee inside and told them people are being overcharged for unleaded and he just stared at me. I went back later and spoke to the woman (who told me she has worked there for 16 years with attitude) and they refused to refund. How do you charge someone for premium when it is blocked off with your fancy caution tape?!? See photo. I ended up calling corporate and they issued me a $10 credit, which is more than they would have refunded me originally. Ridiculous that they are willing to lose money just to win a silly argument. I find myself hoping Mike will be there whenever I visit so we can exchange kind words and a smile. He is very welcoming, helpful and kind...the epitome of excellent customer service. This store is very clean, well stocked and well merchandised, but it's Mike W that keeps me shopping here time and time again, even though it's not my neighborhood Walgreens store.
