Not surprising to see the other reviews. Three times over a year I went to their pharmacy using goodrx, each time they refused to honor the price. I never have this issue at CVS who are always much cheaper, often lower than GoodRX. Don, the pharmacy mgr is always short on the phone and worse in person. The store mgr was useless as well. As everyone has attested the pharmacy is horrible. I switched to Bashas Pharmacy two years ago after Walgreens couldn't figure out how to process a manufacturer coupon (and were rude about it). I recently switched back to Walgreens to be closer but they are terrible and cannot fill prescriptions in a timely fashion. Always waiting days for the simplest items. Make sure you plan ten days for a refill. There are great people that try to help but the staff seems perpetually overwhelmed. They clearly need more people for this location. I believe this is a corporate issue. I had the last straw today. I have been waiting days for post procedure med. Got a message that says I have to wait three more days. Switched to Walmart this afternoon and received notice my script is already filled. (It has been one hour). Will not be back to this pharmacy. read more

There's a cancer in the pharmacy that probably makes it difficult for all the pharmacy staff to be civil to customers. Her name is Myriame Abou Youness. Myriame is one of the most disrespectful and rude pharmacy employees I've ever encountered. Being from the South, I'm always polite and friendly to any employee who I interact with, and was to Myriame. The pharmacy employee helping me asked Myriame a question right in front of me. Myriame was rude to the cashier, so I quietly suggested she calm down (so as not to embarrass herself in front of all the other customers) because it wasn't a big deal. Twice she bluntly and rudely told me "I'm not talking to you". This was not a "bad day" attitude. This was a complete character issue. It's the kind of attitude that tells you that Myriame has a horrible life because of her lack of manners. Here's the other problem. When I tried to report it to her manager, Don, he was condescending, and tried to deflect the fact that I was complaining about an employee's rudeness. He implied that, because I was in the store inquiring about a prescription before I got a notification, that it was MY fault Myriame was rude. So the root problem isn't just Myriame. It's Don. Don is enabling Myriame to be despicably rude to customers. Time to find another pharmacy. read more

I had such a great experience at this pharmacy, thanks especially to Brandon! He was incredibly patient, kind, and truly cared about helping me, which made all the difference. With the way primary care offices are no longer offering vaccines and pushing more of that responsibility onto pharmacies, I know how much extra pressure they're under. I've personally been through the insurance runaround (insurance said Walgreens wasn't covered, but my PCP told me they don't do vaccines and sent me back to Walgreens!) and I was feeling really discouraged. Brandon was not only courteous and understanding over the phone but took extra time once I came in to sort things out in their system. It was clear he went above and beyond to help me. When it came time to give the shot, Brandon was fast, patient, and had a great bedside manner, especially with my daughter, who was very tearful. Us adults were really anxious too--I don't know anyone who doesn't get nervous about getting a shot! But Brandon made the whole experience feel as painless as possible, and he was so understanding and comforting with my daughter. Over the course of two visits, I interacted with four different staff members, and every single one of them was friendly and helpful, even though they were clearly swamped. It was such a breath of fresh air to experience that level of customer service in such a busy and stressful environment. I can't recommend this pharmacy enough--just know that the team is working hard, and they're still being incredibly friendly while doing it. They tell me to come back in an hour for a script that literally just needs to be put in a bottle which I did exactly that. I've been a customer at the Walgreens on Carefree and Scottsdale Cave Creek, AZ, for years. I was patient during COVID, but the service has only declined. Routine prescription refills can take up to 7 days to process. I frequently receive notifications that my prescriptions are ready, yet they often aren't. This problem affects about 50% of my orders! They must be perpetually understaffed because no one answers the phone at the pharmacy. Tried calling twice today to see if my doctor had submitted a prescription. The IVR didn't have information about it so I had to try to talk to a human. Spent 20+ minutes on hold listening to a repeat message of "there are 3 callers ahead of you". This is a terrible pharmacy. On 9/22/23 my doctor sent an order for a prescription. I had to go out of town and didn't return until 10/1/23. On Monday 10/2/23 I called to ask about it & was told it would be ready after 2pm. Later I got a message that it was out of stock & was ordered. On 10/5/23 I went to the store & was told it was back ordered. 10/7/23 I'm still waiting! Thank God it was only pain medication and not something life threatening! This is not the only time I have met with a "so what"attitude at this store but I guess they don't want my business. read more

they mislabeled a Trelogy baker. I get 30 doses every month for $300. this time it was $600 and they said it had 60 doses. I pictures and all the miss labels the box. charged me $600 and the final result is they tell me to call insurance that is the price. bogus. they quadruple dosed my father 4 years ago on Coumadin a more serious medicine and maybe related or not he died. we never sued. we are not those kind of people. but the reality is these guys are feckless. Walgreens on 27th and Carefree--if I could give negative stars, I would. This is the 3rd time they have dropped the ball on prescriptions that needed to be SAME DAY filled. I can see why they're needing help. My husband was in the ER on Friday. They weren't going to have the medications the Er physician ordered until Monday. Said they'd call him when the meds were ready for pick up...we're still waiting for that call. My prescription was sent in today. I called 3 times and was told "the warehouse picked it up to help fill orders and it'll be ready tomorrow." Even though I was told, on the 2nd call, it would be ready today. And the pharmacy tech who answered the phone...I get you're busy and understaffed...I'm just trying to get my medications in a timely fashion, when they've been ordered. Don't be a bitch. Feel sorry for the people who work at this pharmacy. Seems Wall Street is who they work for. Needed post surgical medication immediately and was told medication would be available next day. Called and was told they were waiting for delivery from central fulfillment and wouldn't be available until delivery. Asked if another Walgreens had it in stock. Was told they would have to pull back the fulfillment from central and would have it filled in store in 30 minutes!!! Apparently there is no way to stop automatic robotic fulfillment as stores are supposed to use fulfillment for 40% of all prescriptions. When I called the automated system earlier this morning the system said the prescription would be available after 1:30pm But they close for lunch between 1:30 and 2:00pm!! This used to be a great pharmacy. Too bad that employees are caught in the middle of providing healthcare and counting pennies. read more

In line with almost every other review...horrible service. I came for a script that was supposed to be done. Not done. Said they needed another hour. I didn't have an hour as I was flying out of town so I had to leave. Returned home and called to refill. They said one hour. I went after 2.5 hours. Still not ready. I waited 30 min. Then my insurance wouldn't go through. Ended up paying out of pocket. Called insurance. No issue at all. Now I have to go back and fight to get reimbursed. Not friendly. Not helpful. If I could I would give this so called pharmacy a minus one I would. I first waited on hold for more than an hour just to be put on hold time and time again. So after oral surgery I had to drive myself over. I knew the prescriptions had been put back on the shelf. When I checked with the other Walgreens ( the one I should have gone to originally). The said I had three prescriptions but they were at the other location. I get here; the tech states she doesn't have any prescriptions for me, that I am not in the system. I have to spell my name and give her my birthday twice before she could find me. And to my utter surprise (NOT) she tells me she only has orders for two of the prescriptions. A virtual life-saver in the land of perpetual vacation, we found ourselves here almost daily while relaxing in AZ. It was right down the hill from our resort, it was air-conditioned, it was empty, the peeps were friendly. Bottled water was cheap here and in 97 degree weather you drink a lot of H20...or you should anyway. We loaded up on Aguafina, to the tune of about 3 huge bottles per day. All that said, why am I really giving this Walgreens 4 stars? Well, it's here that I discovered All Bran Rolled Fiber Wafers. Yes I said FIBER, and yes I am getting old. But back to the topic. You know those Pirouette hazelnut chocolate filled wafer things that you can gorge on by the tens or twenties that you find at stores everywhere? Well, imagine the same thing in chocolate and strawberry but the outside is a flakey, crunchy, tasty fiber wafer. This shizz tastes good...I was shocked. Fulfilling my sweet tooth AND giving me my daily boost of fiber (10g for 3 wafers) in the form of a quick afternoon snack... absolutely priceless. Oh and PS...I just found these in my local Walgreens as well. I'm going to start ordering in BULK. read more

I have 2 prescriptions that are automatically refilled every 3 months and receive an automated phone call when my prescriptions are ready. When I went to pick them up this afternoon I was told only one was ready, even though I was called early this morning. This has happened several times. I'm sick of making a special trip for nothing.
