I made a stop at Walgreens and was surprised to see the small mini bottles of wine at the old price before inflation hit. I wasn't expecting to purchase wine at a Walgreens but when the deal is too good to pass up, you act on it! I did, paid and exited. Before exiting, the staff were super friendly and nice. I love shopping at this Walgreens mostly because of Mike W, the older gentleman at the front checkout. I left a more detailed review on Google. I find myself hoping Mike will be there whenever I visit so we can exchange kind words and a smile. He is very welcoming, helpful and kind...the epitome of excellent customer service. This store is very clean, well stocked and well merchandised, but it's Mike W that keeps me shopping here time and time again, even though it's not my neighborhood Walgreens store. read more

Walgreens is falling apart and the simple idea of providing Value Added Service is long gone at this store. How disappointing Walgreens. Your pharmacist saw additional people in line at the drive through and you closed the window without servicing us who had been in line well before closing time. You literally shut the window in a patrons face. Then, when we waited to address it with the manager as they walked out, a lady asked what prescriptions we were on breaking any sort of HIPPA regulations set in place. We were also met with rude statements that they had a long day and didn't even get lunch. If that's the case, then Walgreens you're breaking labor laws too. Where is your professionalism? So disappointing! You're only redeeming quality was that the head pharmacist agreed to make the transaction and get the prescriptions. read more

Very disrespectful. I made an appointment for an updated Covid shot 3 days in advance. I pre-registered as requested by Walgreens, I showed up 15 minutes ahead of my appointment as requested by Walgreens, and checked-in online when I arrived as requested by Walgreens. 45 minutes later I'm still waiting to be called so I got up and left. This is the WORST PHARMACY EVER! Stay away! I totally understand that the pharmacy's are short staffed, but..... My physician called in a script for me at 2:30pm today. It took me 50 minutes to talk to someone to verify that it was received. IT WAS NOT FOUND! The last time I had a script called in here, same problem! I had the hardest time transferring my prescriptions to Walgreens from Safeway. Had to make the change bc insurance. After it was all set up it works REALLY well! I think the pharmacists are even happier than the Safeway employees. BONUS! read more

Came today to print some photos for a gift and their kiosk was down. Bruce who works in the photo department was super helpful and advised I could upload them from my phone and they would print in a few moments. During my wait, he went above and beyond helping other customers to ensure their photos were perfect. I'm sure having equipment you need down is frustrating but he was so patient and helpful He just made my day to see how much pride he took In making sure everyone was helped. read more

Don't bother using the photo service in this store as it IS NEVER CORRECT. I LIKE TO HAVE THE PHOTOS ON WOOD FRAMES. OVER TIME I HAVE Picked UP 2 with huge bubbles in them 2 with heads cut off. Lost photos every time and yesterday 2 photos not stuck to the wooden frame at all. Upon discussion with the oh so young "manager" rude responses were received and a "f... you"attitude. No managerial experience obviously and certainly no customer service. Avoid this store probably better to go to CVS down the road. read more

Photos, medicine, daily essentials. Walgreens is the place. This location is clean, the staff is friendly, and the the healthcare clinic is so nice to have. For the pharmacy, I like that they have a TV screen at the top to give you an idea of when your prescription is ready. Very helpful touch. read more

Dropped off a prescription at the drive thru only to have it lost. Wife spent 2 hours arguing to get it filled, even though it was lost? Called in another prescription only to show up to find out " it was cancelled by the doctor". I refilled that same prescription at CVS same day with a phone call, it wasn't cancelled at all. Picked it up 2 hours later. Why is this Walgreens location even in the business? I used different location for 20 years with few problems. I can only say they have some really poor help there. They do have some good people but sadly the bad element out shines the good ones. read more

This Walgreens' Pharmacy is amazing. I've used them a couple times since moving to the Cave Creek area and they have been quick and efficient. The pharmacist has been amazing and got my prescription filled quickly (when CVS failed to). I'll be switching to this pharmacy for now on. Dropped off a disposable camera to get my film developed and I called about 6 times in a month, I even went into the store to check if they were ready. No one was giving me an answer or even getting back to me. Finally a month later they admitted that they didn't know where it was...they have record of it being dropped off but not even record of it being sent out to be developed. This is ridiculous and it contains memories and pictures that can never be replaced. All the guy could say was "accidents happen"...Very disappointed and will never use walgeeens photo again. read more

Find Another Pharmacy! My husband had a major surgery. The day I brought him home from the hospital ( he needed full time supervision) I had to fill several prescriptions. Although, I have had issues with this pharmacy due to low stocked meds and poor customer service In the past it is the closet drug store to my home. When I arrived they only had enough pain meds for a partial order. My option were to wait until the next day, take the partial amount ( get another rx from the doctor), or find another Walgreens that had the full quanity. My husband was in Pain and could not be left for long so I took the partial. I also picked up another Rx. When I got the prescription home the bag indicated the correct prescription, I paid for the correct amount for the prescribed prescription; but, it was not the correct medication. Good thing I was paying attention. I got to make yet another run to Walgreens. read more

Now this, is the perfect example of how a Walgreens should be ran! This store is always clean, and their customer service is always so friendly even if it's late night and you just need to run in to get something done real quick. Their Theranos lab is amazing, and is way cheaper than doing lab work at a regular physician! This is the best Walgreens around if your in the Cave Creek area! read more

I was behind that crazy Tom person.... I saw them throw a pen at the Tech! I can NOT believe she had the guts to do such a thing to another human! I also know that Theranos and Walgreens are separate systems. So if there was an issue with the lab end, that's not a Walgreens problems. I love this location and Nydia has been helpful numerous time to me! She's called insurances and billed coupons for my prescriptions and it always brightens my day when she is there. I am a firm believer in the Golden Rule. Nydia was not mean at all (even though she really should have been the way this lady was talking) Only reason I am writing this review is because I heard "Tom" say she was a blogger... More like she Yelps. So I want wanted to make sure people know that Nydia was abused verbally by this lady. And she was impatient from the moment the pharmacist and technician came in to help her. So unfortunately, I'm not a "friend" of Nydia's. I just get my scripts there. I've never used Theranos before since I have not needed labs to be done. So no, I wasn't behind in line for check-in for labs, but I was there in the waiting room and watched the whole thing. I wouldn't even have paid attention to the counter until I saw the pen fly across the counter at the tech and heard the absurd comment about being worried of people stealing pens. I gave one star because there isn't a lower option. I went in to see someone at the clinic. I just came to town for vacation and my ears were hurting from the flight. The sign says they are open till 7:00. I got there just before 6:30 and was told they were closed. I pointed out the sign says 7 and the rude woman says they close early for cleaning. Again, not the hours advertised. I told her my problem and she said that checking my ears could be a really long procedure and again they were closed. She offered to send me 40 minutes away to another Walgreens (how kind-insert sarcasm here) rather than the CVS only a half mile away. By the way, CVS was awesome. In and out in 15 minutes with my prescription in hand. Go to CVS!!! Stay away from this Walgreens!!! read more
