This Bath & Body Works is doing it right! I went on a random Monday afternoon and it was a bit busy, but all of the employees were so friendly and helpful. I usually go to B&BW for their hand soaps only, but I was enticed to find their Lakeside Morning candle (thanks to TikTok swearing that it smells just like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland). They didn't have it in stock, but they were able to make some other recommendations! If you don't already know, B&BW is the best place to go for seasonal soaps. Especially if you love the smells of pumpkin like me. Their 3-wick candles run for $25, but they often have sales throughout the year if you want to splurge on multiple at once! I came to this location to select a good lotion or body cream for my cousin's birthday. I was really unsure about what she'd like, even though she'd given me a general gist of what she enjoyed. I had a gift card and intended on purchasing online because you could take advantage of an online 20% coupon that was not honored in the store (and they didn't have any current in-store coupons at the moment either). There were two women on the floor that day, one in particular stood out to me- Linda- and she was super attentive and helpful. She gave me my space but also asked questions when she could tell I needed help. She did great trying to understand what it was that I needed and gave me some excellent suggestions based on what my cousin told me she liked. Told me about promotions and best time for sales. She was super friendly and was super personable. That's exactly what I needed, and I thought if anyone needed someone that had excellent product knowledge and loves anything B&BW - it's Linda. Soaps are not worth what you pay for. When they are nearing the end of use, they become like water and store does not take any responsibility for poor product. They need to invent better flavors and quality products for sure. Store is small and too cluttered and difficult to walk. Lighting can be improved for a more upbeat vibe. read more

This location at Desert Ridge is absolutely horrible, primarily the manager who is not customer friendly and doesn't honor the B&BW guarantee. I strongly suggest avoiding this location. I spend about $100 a month in 3 wick candles. During the Christmas sale I usually drop about $300+. I'm well aware how the 3 wick candles burn. I've noticed about 1 in 12 to 15 candles gets a bad wick and stops burning. B&BW is supposed to have a no hassle guarantee. I had one today that the wicks just stopped burning at a little over 1/4 still left. I took the candle in and showed the manager it wouldn't light. She then tried lighting with her own lighter and it still wouldn't light. She told me there's only 1/4 left and that's normal (which it definitely is not). I only wanted another candle. She only offered one of the old Christmas candles on the 50% off table. That's not right as the candle I had wasn't a Christmas candle and I didn't purchase it at 50% off. She's a horrible manager and I will never give that store my business ever again. Probably safer sticking with Yankee Candle in which I've never ever had a wick burn issue. I will also be following up with B&BW customer service. After a follow up and a complaint with B&BW customer relations, they assured me they have an absolute no hassle guarantee/replacement policy and happily sent me another candle. They gave me another number to call tomorrow to specifically complain about that store manager, which I absolutely will be doing. This manager is ruining the B&BW great reputation, for anyone else that has had problems with this store, the # to complain is 1-800-395-1001. read more

Just went there for their annual candle sale. In their defense, it was busy but they did a pretty good job of funneling people in and out. My problem was the young girl working at the register. She was EXTREMELY rude when I pulled up a coupon that she said had previously expired. She didn't really offer any remedy. Then I heard the girl next to her on the register tell someone that if you go home and find a good coupon, you can bring it back in for a refund. It sounds like the young girl needs training on customer service and store policies. I'll go to a different location from now on. read more

I had no idea what to get my wife for a little treat for herself because she is very particular about these sorts of things (she knows her skin type and all kinds of stuff like that that is very hard for me to remember). I told Kim what she likes and she helped guide me to an awesome little gift basket for my wife, which she helped me put together. She then wrapped it up all pretty and went and switched out my candle that we picked out for a better one since the lid was scratched AND she took my bath bomb back to get one that was in better shape. I generally will go to this location due to its convenient location to work. Usually everything here is fine service wise. I have found on numerous occasions that they will run out of promotional (fb offers) faster than some other locations. The reason for only three stars (besides running low on fb offer items...hello have more stock sent to that location once you notice the trend) is that recently I have felt that they are turning into "pouncers" at this location. They more frequently are bombarding you the second you get in the door. Yesterday the door was not even closed behind me and I was in the middle of looking up an email on my phone and the gentleman team member was right up on me. UGH! We had terrible service at this location! We visited this store on their candle sale day. I asked if we could use the 20% coupon and was told no only if it was the paper one. I proceeded to spend 150 in candles, my sister bought 2 and we both asked for emailed receipts. Later that day we happened to be near another location and after seeing so many friends post how they were able to use their coupons I called this location and they said YES, YES I could use my coupon. I went in there and they adjusted it for me which saved me 30.00! They told my sister they could adjust hers too but they weren't able to pull her receipt since we had bought from this store. She called desert ridge and asked them and was met with an attitude on the phone. After she went into the store they did take care of it but they weren't very friendly. We won't be back to this store.....I will drive to other locations although this one is less than a mile from our home. read more

I don't shop here all that frequently and usually come in with a friend who generally suggests it on her own, so I tend to tag along. I am a frequent BBW shopper for their home scents. I will not return to this location (even though it's most convenient). What happened to customer service?
