Ulta's product selection is vast so when I am looking for something in particular ( a product or a brand) I will stop there first. Normally, I am accosted by multiple sales people as soon as I enter. Today was different. As I wandered aimlessly unable to find what I was looking for, I asked a passing employee where I would find the product. She kept going but motioned 2 aisles over. After a thorough search, I gave up. There were actually 4 employees standing in the middle aisle chatting and ignoring the customers and several by the front door examining a display. I've had my share of less than impressive interactions with employees in this store but today's level of indifference was dramatic. I was actually on my way out and headed for Sephora when Serena noticed I needed attention. She actually checked to see if they had my product in stock (no) and offered suggestions for substitutes. Addie is literally a wizard with brows- she excavated mine after I had let them grow wild for over a year, and I've been back every four weeks ever since. She really listened to me when I explained part of my brow features I wanted to keep and worked with me to find the best shape overall. As I'm sure everyone knows, finding someone you trust with your brows is like a needle in a haystack. I would literally follow her to Alaska if she ever moved. On top of her brow shape wizardry, she's funny, personable, and really quite gentle considering you're getting hairs waxed off your face. The cashiers were very rude! They stated that even with a receipt, they would not refund or exchange an item- even the next day!! The only way to exchange or refund an item, according to the cashier, is to give them all of your personal information and sign up for their program! That is horrible! I am completely appalled by the management here of this location a friend & I stopped in to do some holiday shopping and had an issues trying to use the $20 off $100. My total was well over that a manger came over and rudely said the $5/5 items were excluded so I would have to spend more to use coupon I said ok no problem and added two more items to my transaction. The coupon still wouldn't work. She rudely said I needed to read the fine print! I told her I would take my business elsewhere with her attitude. I made an appointment through the app for a brow wax at the north village store because there was availability today at a reasonable time where I could fit it into my schedule. The goal was to get the service done prior to mothers day weekend and I only had today to do so before then. J booked it, drove about 30 minutes out of my way to make it on time, just to be told there was no one working the brow bar at all today. Yet the app had me pick the day, time, person, and store. Strange I thought, and showed the employee my confirmation text, and confirmation details via the app (which I took a screen shot of as well) she thought I'd had the wrong store, but after confirming she just said it was "weird" and "sorry about that" I explained to her the reason I drove all that way and she didn't seem to really care or be bothered with attempting to help resolve the issue. I've been a platinum ulta member for over 10 years now. I have never been met with such poor customer support, care, service, or whatever you want to call it in my life. I was more than polite and maybe that's the issue, seems being too passive now days gets you nowhere. I guess I should've asked for the manager? I got my hair done at this location today, just a gloss service with sealant. I had about 3 inches of grown out roots from being blonde and wanted to have the blonde parts a dark brown so that my roots weren't as obvious. I went for an elite stylist over a standard stylist and left with spots throughout the back of my hair. I didn't notice it from the front and I didn't think twice when my stylist didn't give me a mirror to check it because her next client was there. However, my stylist dried and straightened my hair after the services. I don't know any scenario in which she wouldn't have noticed these spots while styling my hair but she didn't say anything. I was too embarrassed to go back and i couldn't keep my hair looking like this so here are photos that the cashier at Sally's took of my hair an hour after my Ulta visit when I decided I'd have to fix it myself. My stylist was so nice, we had amazing conversation throughout the services but I just don't understand how she let me leave the salon like this. read more

Several issues. I walked through this store past several employees. Was not acknowledged in any way. No one asked if I needed help and actually avoided eye contact, you should be welcoming customers in! There were plenty Ulta employees that saw me available to do this.. WRONG! I was looking for hair products, which led me to the back of the store. I needed help, and a salon employee named "Amy" who was actually in the middle of washing a client's hair asked me if I needed help! This is completely unacceptable. When you have so many employees on the floor ignoring me, not asking me if I need help. Long line of people trying to check out, but several employees milling around doing nothing. SHAME ON YOU. I went in wanting my shoulder length hair ...turned into a Pixie Mohawk ...Femhawk lol and merlot ...a pretty drastic change...and she nailed it!! Helped me pick out a great color. Fantastic. I received so many compliments on it the next day. All the Ulta staff was super polite...everyone will offer you water lol everyone. My mom goes to Molly as well and just raves about her work. First of all let me start out by saying that I am a platinum diamond member I have already this year spent thousands of dollars at their store and online. I went into return some of the perfumes I had bought online because I just didn't like the way they smelled and because I had to cancel One debit card and get a new one but with the same bank they would not allow me to have a refund and not only that they didn't even give me a gift card that I can use online because that is how I normally shop with Ulta is online. I would never have ordered all these random perfumes if I had known that they were going to do me like that it is the worst service I've ever had as far as returning something goes I would not recommend them to anyone and I'm not even done I'm just getting started you should hear what they've done to me online. I placed an order and there were two tracking numbers I did receive the one that had my lip glossary and a lip Duo that you very minimal things that I'd ordered. I had spent a total of $140 on this purchase but I also used all of my credits coupons and freebies in order to get this order. It was one of those orders that you actually get more for free than you spend because of all of the money I've spent in the past. So this was a very exciting order for me and I never received it. I was home the day they claim it was delivered and so not only will they not replace my order they won't refund me the money either or my points my coupons that I use nothing. I have never been more disappointed in my life as far as dealing with an order. So in a matter of one week they basically screwed me out of about $500 altogether and they have no intention of making it right. I called on track and they have no intention of investigating it for their either because the GPS says it went by my house so that's their proof of delivery. I loved Ulta, it was my favorite store up until now. I have never been so disgusted. I am so upset and I just do not know what to do about it. And one more thing, I went to go exchange 2 lancome eye creams worth $80 a piece. I ended up getting 1 68.00 jar of lancome as a replacement of $160 of eye cream. read more
