I don't normally write Yelp reviews, and I want to be very clear that this was not easy to post because I genuinely love this store. Alexandrea Collections at 44th & Camelback has always been one of my favorite places to shop. It's within walking distance of my home, the store is lovely, and it's my go-to spot for gifts. The staff has always been friendly, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Before Christmas, my mom and I came in and purchased over ten gifts for family and friends. Unfortunately, one of the necklaces we purchased turned out to be broken. When I returned to the store, my full intention was simply to exchange it. However, before I even explained the situation, I was immediately told that returns were not allowed and that I could only exchange the item or receive store credit. I then showed my receipt and asked a simple question: if a product is damaged or broken at the time of purchase, is the customer still unable to receive a refund? I was told yes. I expressed that I felt this was unfair, especially since the item was sold damaged, and I was told that this was store policy after the owner was contacted. While I did exchange the necklace (and even paid $12 more for a replacement), the situation left me feeling very upset and unheard. I fully understand and respect store policies, and I am not someone who tries to bend rules. That said, I believe customer satisfaction matters, especially when the issue is the result of a damaged product being sold. I truly hate writing this because I love supporting local businesses, but I do feel it's important to share my experience. In situations where the store is responsible for selling damaged merchandise, I believe a full refund should be an option. Sadly, because of how this was handled, I don't feel comfortable shopping here again. read more

Beautiful store, sadly poor customer service. I didn't get welcomed when I walked in and when I made it close to the cash register they didn't even say "hello" or "can I help you with anything". I'm not one to usually get upset over not having a welcome but not having one made me recognize how cold the store felt. The store has super cute and colorful clothing options. I loved all the jewelry too! I accidentally ending up spilling some of my AJ's tea on the floor, but the two ladies working were so sweet about cleaning it up. I've been into Alixandra Collections a handful of times... They happen to be located in one of my fave little shopping centers right next door to the gym I go to and right by AJ's. They carry a lot of accessories, clothing, shoes, and even some odds and ends like lip balm with SPF. My very first visit to the store was shortly after I had baby #2... I wasn't feeling so great about my appearance, but I was in the market for some new clothes that would fit my in between sizes body since I was going back to work a couple of weeks later. Toni helped me out... She was extremely honest with her opinions when I showed her things as I tried them on and a pleasure to work with, not to mention a wonderful salesperson. I walked out with several new purchases including a Splended maxi dress and a Joie blouse. I've already gotten a ton of wears out of both and will continue to do so. Every time I've been in since that first visit has also been enjoyable whether I made a purchase or not. They are constantly getting new arrivals in and the employees are always friendly without being pushy. We were accused of stealing, then followed to a different store. I never had that happen to me before, but I guess there's a first time for everything. As much as I would like to support local businesses, it is UNACCEPTABLE to treat potential customers as thieves. It seems like this is not the first time, as I've read so many comments with the same experience. What a great neighborhood find I found today! I am so happy I bumped into this store. Planning to run to AJ's real quick my girlfriend noticed a mannequin wearing an adorable dress. We stopped in to check it out and scored. This trendy little boutique is filled with many unique upscale accessories and clothes. I love jewelry that is different. This store has tons of beautiful affordable quality pieces for all types of taste. All jewels are neatly nestled on a display for easy access to try on. Plenty of mirrors on the wall to gaze and glance at the pieces as they lay on you. Now my friend was stocked about the clothing as she ran out with a full shopping bag of items she loved. What I really liked about the store is how neat and organized it was. Everything had a place and was easy to look through. The sales lady was super friendly. Matter of fact the store was busy but she was able to handle all of us at one time with a beautiful smile on her face. I will mention there are some home decor items such as candles that smell so wonderful. They are higher end candles but you can tell they are quality with long burn times. I've wanted to stop in this shop for a couple years. finally brought a friend with me on 2/10/20. We really like a lot of things there and each spent about $500. The woman helping was very nice. When I got home and tried on my purchases for my husband, he pointed out the lovely black blouse with lace at the bottom of the sleeves was hanging way down past my thumbs. On 2/11/20, I took sadly took the blouse back. The same woman agreed the sleeves were way too long. Then, to my surprise, I found I could only get a store credit or exchange. So now my I'm stuck with $170+ store credit. I make a point at not shopping at these types of businesses as I think it's a rip-off. I'm okay with a short return time but NO return time?? Yes, there was a small sign stating the return policy but I believe it's the store's responsibility to point this out. Their offerings are not inexpensive! read more

I love this store. The jewelry is beautiful and spans most prices ranges. They have the best assortment of $20 fashionable earrings, if you are just looking for something fun to wear out on a weekend night. The necklaces are always beautiful. I love love love the clothes here as well. I always find a maxi dress or two that I can't resist in the Illinois stores, and this store was no exception. I am really excited to have this store in my backyard here in AZ now. I work over at the health club across the street and I had seen the boutique before, it is right next to flower child. I went in on a Sunday afternoon hoping I might be able to find a blouse for a special occasion. I am so glad I stopped in the staff was so wonderful and accommodating. They helped me pick out several pieces and I ended up finding a very pretty blouse to wear. I would say that the boutique is medium-priced not too expensive and certainly not cheap. My husband of all people stubbled on this place when looking for a birthday gift for me. He knows I like jewelry and came into this store and saw they had reasonable prices and a great selection. I absolutely loved the necklace he picked out and wear it all the time, so for Valentine's Day he went back and got me a gift card so I could check it out myself. When I walked in I was surprised that it was a clothing boutique not just a jewelry store so I decided to look at dresses since I was going to a wedding that night. The first dress I tried on didn't fit so the sales lady came over to help. I told her I liked the dress but too tight. She asked me more questions about what I was looking for, then when and found me two other dresses she thought might work. The first one she gave me fit my body perfectly! She hit the nail on the head on her first try. Then she took me too mirror and gave me suggestions on how to wear it with stuff I might have at home. I was sold. I swear there are people out there who have a gift for helping people feel good about themselves and she was definitely one of them. I wish I had gotten her name. See my old review - and I upgraded. Way upgraded. They took back the shirts, were super-cool and defied every expectation. And I found tons of other options so (happily) paid a little more to upgrade. Amazing manager. Defied all expectations. Old Review: I'm giving it three stars but this review will be amended. I may add more, or subtract them. They use pink wrapping paper. There are misting systems running all over Arizona shopping centers in the summer. The shirts I bought there were identical styles in 3 colors. Two of the shirts were not pink. Pink stains on two T shirts later, I've incurred a dry cleaning bill for the tops already that weren't pink. I don't I'll see that money again - when I called to let them know just now, the girl who answered the phone sort of offered to "sure, bring them in, we'll take a look at them and see if we can exchange them - you have 30 days with a receipt." There is NOTHING else in the store I would have spent over $100 on. You'd think with that kind of situation, they would bend over backward - I certainly would and I am a small business owner. You sometimes have to lose money to keep a good reputation. If they are going to be non-committal with their offer to bring back the shirts, I'm going to be non-committal with my review. I will be giving them 5 stars if they refund me if the shirts are faded and/or stains aren't removed. I will be NOT giving 3 stars if that consideration is not on the table. They don't refund your money after returning an item even if it has been less than 24hrs since you bought it. I bought a necklace for my daughter, it was not her style and I found something else somewhere else. I brought the necklace back, with a receipt, and they only give store credit. The 2 young girls working did not acknowledge my presence, and the lady at the register was not friendly when explaining their policy. Maybe they should have a big sign saying, "No refunds, only store credit." I'm not going back but now I'm stuck with this store credit. read more

Great store! I love Alixandra Collections and have been a customer since Alix opened her first store in Hinsdale. I've shopped in all of their stores in Illinois and now it's so nice to have them in Arizona. I've sent my Arizona friends and visitors to the Phoenix store since it opened last fall and they're all impressed. I love the clothes but the jewelry is what makes it so great. Scottsdale is a shopper's paradise but Alixandra Collections is one of a kind- they have some great designer lines that are unique and fun as well as less expensive things- all in all a great selection that you can't find anywhere else. I have to say that I think the staff is wonderful in Phoenix and most of them have actually come from the stores in Illinois. read more

I have always loved shopping at this location. I went to return a shirt, First Time, after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars at this store. They looked up my account because I had thrown away my receipt. I always love their cloths so didn't think I needed to keep it, never returned before. Well, it was one flowy shirt I had not tried on at the store and it turned out to be too tight across the chest. They pulled up my account and saw the LIST of items I have purchased but said it was over the 30 day return so could not take it back. The tag was still on it, the creases from being folded in a bag were still on it so there was no way it had been worn, But they would not take it back. I would have been happy with a credit and happily spent the money again in the store, but no, offered nothing but "sorry". This really turned me off of this store, especially after all of the merchandise I have purchased. Will be hard for me to go back. read more
