This CVS Pharmacy experience was bad, really bad…read more After being rear ended in a car accident, I was rocked. I was in pain and my neck was crazy stiff and shoulder was hurting. I could not lay down comfortably nor sleep. So when the awesome Dr Cho at Haven Urgent Care took such good care of me and prescribed 2 medications via this adjacent CVS, I showed up after the 45 minutes to a horror show. The other reviews about the totally mean spirited and just stupid Pharmacy Manager Hien Nguyen are spot on and dead on balls accurate( " My Cousin Vinny"). I was next in line and had been waiting 11 minutes when Ms Nguyen smiled and vigorously waved to the lady behind me and said " Come on up". I figured maybe a quick hello but she went on to tell her friend about her pregnancy and just about everything under the sun - 27 minutes. Ms Nguyen would look over at me every 3-4 minutes but .. nothing! Not a word not be right with you.. not sorry I did this...! Finally another lady came up to help and things went further south. I showed her my id with my birth date and also offered my SS number so she could quickly look up my DOD benefits card. She just declined and said " No, can't do this." Go sit on that chair( no please) and we will call you. Please note this was maybe 47 minutes waiting in line and I was in excruciating pain... Finally after another 12 minutes, I just got up and left. I did take a photo of these two ladies. I did tell the Store Manager who seemed to have dealt with these complaints prior...I called CVS customer care the next day. They took the details and apologized. I just did a 5 star review for a CVS in New Hyde Park, Long Island NY. This was at the other end of the spectrum. My advice - find a different pharmacy other than the CVS on Haven just north of Foothill Blvd.

I signed up for their rewards programs which gives you great rewards and coupons. Definitely recommend this location.

Stock and selection was decent, a little bit messy and disorganized in some places but makes sense with the sheer size of the store. Was able to get toiletries for a friend's visit, all for under $30 with multiple items, which isn't too bad. There have been multiple occasions where I received fewer pills than prescribed, and when I called to ask about it, the pharmacist actually hung up on me. Even more frustrating, they've repeatedly failed to correctly bill my insurance--using the wrong code month after month. As a result, I have to call ahead every time just to ensure my prescription is ordered and covered, only to be told my insurance won't pay (when it actually does, if properly billed). I was prescribed a medication in May and didn't receive it until June due to this same ongoing issue. It's completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of accountability. The drive-thru has now been closed for over five months with no communication or solution offered. Inside, the lines are long and slow-moving, and the staff often seem overwhelmed and disorganized. If you choose to fill your prescriptions at this location, be prepared to make repeated phone calls, double-check everything, and still risk not getting what you need on time. This place has gone from inconvenient to completely unreliable.

Like majority of other people's experience with the pharmacy staff: horrible. I've heard complaints of how rude the girls behind the counter are from multiple people and I've experienced it myself too. Never enough for me to get angry until today, Reem/Reema, is rude and literally the most unhelpful person I have ever come across here. It wasn't just with me, I've seen it with people in line before she even started with me. Get this miserable human out of here. I feel sad for her she must have so much anger in her belly. read more

While the store itself is clean and well-organized, the customer service leaves much to be desired. During my recent visit to purchase a gift card and chocolates, I encountered an instance where a staff member walked away from the register without acknowledging me, leaving me waiting without any explanation. Despite being the only customer at the register, I was completely ignored. This place always gives me a hard time about my prescriptions. If it's not one thing it's another thing. Now they're saying that my prescription sheet is invalid because it doesn't have little boxes around the number of refills. THE NUMBER OF REFILLS IS RIGHT THERE. SHOVE THE BOXES UP YOUR A**ES. The beauty assistant is literally so rude. She scolded me like a child, it's honestly unacceptable to speak to a customer like that especially in customer service, I felt so uncomfortable and I could tell by nearby looks other people were uncomfortable too. I hope management takes a closer look at how perishable items are being selected for pickup customers. Customers using online shopping should be able to trust that they're receiving fresh products and not items they need to use immediately or throw away.

Some are nice, some chat with their coworkers without even acknowledging that you're there. A newer guy just said "mhm" and hung up on me when I thanked him for helping me. Also, their hours suck. No weekend availability. If you work M-F 9-5 you only have one hour in the evening to rush over and pick up your prescription.

We were prescribed olopatadine eye drops. We were charged $53 for one bottle because my insurance plan doesn't cover the medication. It's not the price that bothers me. The reason why I'm giving them one star is that come to find out this is generic Pataday eye drops. Over the counter, the exact same strength and supply are $10. When I called them back they said that's the cost with my insurance plan but they never offered me the out of pocket price which is always an option. If I hadn't realized that it was available over the counter I would have continued paying $53/month for this $10 a bottle medication?!? When I go to CVS if my non-insurance cost is cheaper than what I pay with insurance they ALWAYS tell me. This pharmacy does not advocate for their patients and knowingly let me overpay for a prescription for a generic over the counter medication. $40 may not be a lot for some people but it could make the world of difference to some and if this happened to me, I wonder how many people have paid more than they should without even knowing? I will never go back there ever again.
