I'm would give five stars for the pharmacy. I am currently at the pharmacy waiting for my prescriptions to be filled (the pharmacist Faez has been working diligently with my insurance claim issue). There is a king of at least ten customers waiting. I see two pharmacists and at least 3-4 pharmacy techs or assistants running around, filling medications. I observed an interaction between someone named Patti (I assume manager) and a worker (likely pharm tech). Patti relayed a message stating that she had transferred a call to the pharmacy, asked if someone could pick it up. The tech told them that they're super swamped and stressed and they may not be able to get to the phone anytime soon. Patti asked, "well can you at least pick up the call and tell them that?" He had stated he will try his best. She walked away stating that she'll be furious if it doesn't happen. It was very unprofessional, and taking a call can take a lot of time as well. I don't understand how a manager or supervisor doesn't not see everything going on at the pharmacy and not support the staff. Retail pharmacies are already short on resources and have more pressure and the companies constantly seem to add more workload. It's horrible, makes them less efficient, and potentially could cause harm or error in prescription administration. read more

This review is specifically regarding Irina at the pharmacy. I went to pick up a prescription I've been using for years to be told they were waiting for auth. I advised them auth wasn't required. Irina then told me I had no re-fills. Advised Irina I was looking at the box from last month that shows 6 re-fills. Irina then said the prescription was written a year ago and even with re-fills that is considered expired. Advised Irina that isn't accurate either because my doctor doesn't write prescriptions for a year and this one was written in March. Irina just kept overtalking me stating there was nothing she could do until my doctor called in a new prescription (it's Saturday). While trying to explain how this error is an inconvenience to me Irina hung up on me. I'm not dumb enough to call them back regarding Irina's horrible customer service as this seems to be the norm for CVS. I'm writing this as a warning to all other customers. Do not use CVS, even if your a#$hole is on fire and Irina is dancing behind the counter with some super awesome a#$cream that will help your burning a#$. CVS doesn't care about you, providing good customer service or hiring helpful non angry employees that will laugh at your burning a#$hole. I use another pharmacy for all my other prescriptions however sadly I still have to use CVS for one they don't carry. PS No I don't have a burning a#$hole. Dealing with non stop issues at CVS sure makes it feel that way. read more

I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews. I always come here for my prescriptions & have always had great customer service. One of the employees, Sheri in particular is the sweetest, always so positive. It takes 10-15 min max to get it filled. They'll go over the medication more with you with another pharmacist once you pick it up. read more

I was at cvs to print pictures. I paid extra for getting them in seconds. For some reason Toshiba thought it was extremely important that I pay for seconds even though it was around a half hour that I awaited for my photos. The customer service is terrible there. My aunt's cancer removal incision was infected and she had to go to the urgent care for help. When she was discarded they had not given her any proper equipment to change out her dressing. Due to covid I wasn't allowed to go in and help translate and bc she was on painkillers she had misplaced her discarded orders from urgent care. I was totally clueless on what to do with her wound dressings. I went up to the consulate window and that's when I met Bobby the pharmacist. He took the time to show me what I should do step by step and even came out to show me the best products for my aunt's needs. I haven't been shown that kind of compassion and care in a very long time. He clearly loves what he does and CVS is beyond lucky to have such an amazing person working for them. CVS Pharamacy at this location was awesome when I first move here 5 years ago. Unfortunately the service has been very bad this past year. The tech and pharmacist are rude now. Sometimes the lines are long, but the pharmacists and technicians always do their best to speed up the line. I was in the ER and got out at 830pm, while MY pharmacy CVS were ALL closed due to Covid, even though they are supposed to be 24 hours. I ended up calling Walgreen and ALL their 24 hour pharmacies were closed to. Really, wtf! Who is treating the sick?? Everyone is scared to do their job in the and shutting down shop! Not even curbside pickup?! I finally found a Rite Aid opened until 9pm and it was 840pm and God Bless His Soul, he referred me to a 24 hour Rite Aid! I was out of town and would have slept in my car til they opened in the morning, if I had to, I was in THAT MUCH PAIN! I loved CVS and have been very loyal for the past 12 years and this is how they treat loyal customers. I am taking my business to RITE AID NOW! Had a pleasant experience until I met the moody black haired male teenager employee. I come here all the time to pick up energy drinks before my workday. I had a simple experience with the self kiosk, scanned items and put in bagging area (which has no bags) and then had to wait for the teen attendant to come and finish the process. Nowadays there is never a cashier in sight at this location and when I managed to finally flag someone down, it was this male teen black hair and acne from what it looked like who did not make eye contact, did not say hello when I asked how he was doing and waved his card at the scanner and walked away. The pharmacy is horrible. If you had a medical emergency, you would die trying to pick up medication from this place. No one knows what they are doing. It takes multiple attempts to pick up your medication and they hardly ever get it right. Then they ping pong you back and forth between two long ass lines because again no one knows what they are doing. The worst customer service ever. There is a nice old lady who needs the EXTREMELY COMPLICATED RX reward program explained to her and she is so sweet. There is another cashier open and he can not locate the customers photo order. Ok. I just checked out and bought ONE tiny 3-ring binder and it cost $9.79!! This store is preying on the elderly. This pharmacy is so unprofessional. I recently moved around the corner from there and made the mistake of transferring my prescriptions here. Low and behold, it's time to refill my pain meds and they tell me they can't fill the script. Because it's a controlled substance, they were not allowed to transfer that prescription from my old pharmacy and I need a new prescription now. Which is fine and all, I get it's the law and all, but they should have told me that 2 weeks ago when I transferred my meds. It's not my job to know the laws about prescriptions, it's theirs. Now I have to go days without my pain meds because they are idiots and unprofessional and have a complete lack of communication. I will be transferring to a different pharmacy now because this place is dangerous. They dont communicate with you and when there is an issue, they blame it on you and refuse to give you your meds. read more

I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews of this particular CVS, I personally have been here often in the past as this is the closest and most convenient CVS location for me. They're always stocked on essentials and the staff is relatively nice and helpful. There's been many times nothing else has been open and CVS has come to the rescue for necessities (as this location is usually open 24 hours - not sure if it still is due to the pandemic). CVS is great for a quick trip to get something you need as it's a small store and you can be in and out rather quickly which is why I choose CVS over other stores when I need just a few basic items. read more

I stopped in to pick up Gatorade. What I noticed immediately about this CVS is how big the store actually is. Didn't feel cramped at all and the aisles weren't small. They didn't have big jugs of Gatorade so ended up buy the 64 oz of Powerade bottles since they were on promo for 4 for $5 with a CVS card. Once I got my drinks, you fall into 1 like at the head of the store. There is a sign indicating where the line forms. At the time, there were only 2 cashiers, and I swear they were taking their sweet ole time. GRRRR... 1 cashier was just making conversation and the other was moving as slow as a turtle for ringing up 2 items! Luckily there weren't many people in the store, but found this CVS to be on the "slower" side. Lots of parking out front and several eateries and businesses in the same shopping center. read more

This is my regular Pharmacy to pick up my families medications. They are super nice and process a-lot of items and I have never had to wait very long. One note: They do not price match items in the store. For example this weekend I found the Up4 Ultra probiotics I started using last month. I got my first month supply at Target for $29.99 bit the price was 39.99 at CVS. I found the price on my Target App and asked of they price matched. I was told No, they do not. So, bring you price apps and scan anything you buy. If the price is too high, don't buy it. +33.33% was to high that was about $10 more for just the one item. read more

Came in to the minute clinic to get a vaccination. The employees at the pharmacy don't have anything to do with minute clinic so they were not helpful what so ever in assisting. I was directed to sign in at the kiosk for minute clinic. It said my wait time was 22 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes and not seeing anyone walk in or out of anywhere, I cancelled my appointment. Interesting that this CVS has the worst rating of all the CVS's in the area. This CVS is in a retirement community (Rancho Bernardo) and directly next door to a Senior Living community (The Remington Club) where almost all of the residents use CVS as their pharmacy. It is VERY senior unfriendly. The restroom has a sign on the restroom that says "knock first" but it turns out that one has to go back to the front of the store, wait for a cashier to request the key and then walk back to the rear of the store with a key that is connected to a basket. Maybe they want to sell more depends? Or is it just bad customer service. read more
