    Black specks on underside of cap and on medication too

    Pharmacist is ok with patient consuming contaminated medication! Black specks were found on the underside of my medication bottle cap and on some of the medication capsules themselves. I brought this back to the pharmacy and showed the pharmacist today. She told me, without doing any real inspection or testing, that the black specks are from the ink on the bottle caps when they're stacked on top of each other. She said she didn't see any black specks on the actual capsules after pouring out a few of them. I told her I tried to remove as much as I could see from the capsules already but there could be more. I asked her if she believes that it is acceptable for patients to consume medication with these black specks on them and she said yes, "there is nothing wrong with the medication," and gave it back to me. The pharmacist did not do any true validation of what those black specks were, did not care about my concern, and believed I should continue to take the mediation despite the possibility of consuming those black specks. She provided no proof that even if the specks were from ink that the ink was non toxic or edible. She offered zero remedies or solutions. I will be changing pharmacies.

    No skipping the line, you still have to wait in the regular long, take down this sign!

    Been coming here since they opened, always had a good experience with the pharmacist, one time I was in urgent care and called them and she still filled my prescription 30 minutes before closing. Staff are mostly nice. Lines are always long and short staff but please take down that mobile app skipping the line sign when you still have to be in the regular line! This doesn't make any sense.

    Seriously, I have a prescription to pick up. The pharmacist asked me if I have any questions. I said yes, how do I use this? She told me to read the instruction! Can you believe it? Why brother to have pharmacist there if i myself read instruction?! Then why bother to ask if I have any questions or not! Ridiculous!

    Very rude pharmacy staff. This CVS is a waste of space. They cant even do the basic stuff right.

Although I feel like I shouldn't have to ask, I did so out of courtesy to avoid another situation like the one I had at Shell. The staff member responded kindly, saying, "That's what it's there for," which immediately put my mind at ease. Since it had been raining all day in San Diego, I expected some dirt to be tracked inside. This location, however, was well-prepared, with multiple wet floor signs placed as a precaution to keep customers safe. While shopping for some snacks and a drink, the same employee took the time to compliment my jacket while I was checking out. It felt like a genuine conversation, just a small act of kindness, not a forced customer service tactic. Unrelated to this review, he mentioned wanting to go shopping, so I told him about some thrift shops downtown that he might like. While the store itself might not be the best 7-Eleven in all of San Diego, that positive interaction is exactly why I'm leaving a five-star review. I wasn't in the best mood when I walked in due to my off-putting experience down the road, but the gentleman working that night (I unfortunately didn't get his name) helped turn my night around. A little courtesy goes a long way, and this 7-Eleven got it right.

    You'd think that after spending $40 on gas, using the microwave in the convenience store at the…read moresame gas station wouldn't be an issue. I saw the "No Outside Food Allowed" sign taped to the microwave and respected the policy, turning back to find another place to heat my dinner. But the way the attendant handled it was unnecessary. Rather than addressing me politely, he barked at me as if I hadn't read the sign or was about to ignore it and do it anyway. To make the visit even more unwelcoming, there was no greeting when I walked in, despite making eye contact. I understand that retail can get busy, but there were no other customers in the store to justify that excuse. The first thing I noticed was his annoyed expression and crossed arms, like he didn't want to be there. A simple, "Hello, sir. I apologize, but we don't allow outside food in the microwave," would have been more than enough. Any reasonable person wouldn't waste time arguing over a policy like that. I had planned to grab some snacks and drinks for the road while my food heated up (if I had been able to use the microwave), but that interaction instantly changed my mind. If a business can't provide basic customer service, I see no reason to spend extra money there. On top of that, the store was poorly maintained. It had been raining all day in San Diego, and the floors were slick with tracked-in dirt. A single wet floor sign wasn't enough to make the space feel safe. Even as I left, there was no "goodbye" or "stay safe," which would have at least shown basic courtesy given the weather. I'm giving two stars because I believe businesses can improve when they take feedback seriously. But unless I'm in an emergency and can't make it to another gas station, I won't be returning to this location. This wasn't about the microwave, it was about poor customer service and an unwelcoming atmosphere. We all have bad days, but that's no excuse to take it out on customers. If another customer had been less patient than I was, this could have escalated into a bigger issue.
