I'm having surgery in the morning, so I needed to pick up some staples bc I won't be able to go shopping for a while & I'll be on a liquid diet for 4 weeks. I picked up 23 items, and then I got a text from the restaurant, the food was ready. This is a busy Walmart, but you can no longer go through self checkout with more than 15 items, which is fine, except they only had TWO REGISTERS OPEN. The lines were all the way to the produce section. I stood in line for 18 minutes while my food got cold in a bag at the restaurant & the line had barely moved. I finally got out of line & went to self checkout again, I begged them to just let me buy the things I had. They could even ring them up, I just had to go. They refused. I ended up having to leave the cart with $116 worth of groceries and just leave the store. I picked up dinner, went home, celebrated my birthday, and now I'm at another store to buy the stuff I wanted to buy earlier. If they're not going to let us use self checkout, then it's UNACCEPTABLE to have only 2 registers open, and they treated me like I was the problem. Super rude, unwilling to assist, you have to ring a damn button to get laundry detergent, deodorant, makeup, I had to push 6 buttons & wait for somebody be to show up. It's annoying that we're being punished for people stealing stuff, and when we have to interact with employees they're rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. I don't have that problem at any other Walmart. Luckily I never have to go to this one again. Have fun putting all that stuff back, while I buy it somewhere else. It would have taken 5 minutes to ring it up.

I went to my bank and they cashed it no problem. Which tells me there's a problem with their system. It was a huge inconvenience to me because I live closer to walmart. They apparently flagged me for no reason at all. So be careful cashing your checks here. Youre guaranteed to have a problem.

I was a bit firm because my insurance company was not approving something after 5 weeks. I knew the fault didn't lie with her. I wasn't blaming her. I was just clearly frustrated and it was misdirected annoyance. She was patient. She listened. She explained to me how she can band-aid the situation. She fixed it. My hero. I was given a whole bunch of medication to take to my pharmacy upon discharge, to get filled. When I got to the Walgreens, there was a sign saying they were closed for the day because the pharmacist was out. really? They only have one pharmacist on staff? I was told to drive really far away to get my prescriptions. This is extremely inconvenient for someone who just had a heart attack and lives in over 100 degree weather. I went ahead and told the pharmacist at the other place that I only wanted it for one month and that the other location was my main location, and they said no worries. Fast forward till today. I called in plenty of time to fill one of my prescriptions. All wrong info GIVEN to me over the phone about my refills. I was told it would be ready at 2 o'clock. Ha! it's already a 100° in Phoenix and I'm not feeling that great to begin with. Remember, I had a heart attack a month ago. Be sympathetic health care workers. So I drive all the way there at 3pm. I AM waiting in a long line and they don't have my prescription ready. They tell me it's a mistake it is at other location. 3 hour wait if I want it there. "Why,I asked? "I called here. No answer given. The pharmacist then comes over and argues with me about one of my other prescriptions and how I'm taking it wrong. Grrrreat. I TOLD her the bottle said this and she says no it does not..Ummmm.yes it does. Verified again. She pretty much called me a.liar. Sheesh waaaa? Last Pharmacist was very rude too. I am going to fax her a photo of the bottle. She continued to say it did not. GUESS WHAT Lady? IT DOES. I drive all the way over to the other location with no AC in my car. During my wait I get sick and am not feeling well. I have to wait again in line to get my prescription barely able to stand up to be told that my prescription cannot be transferred back to the other store for next time. It has to stay on file at both locations and is my responsibility to make sure I am calling the correct one. Ummmmmm!. I was. smdh The person then tries to argue with me when I told him I never even called this location. Treats me like a 5-year-old. Says, "make sure you tell them it's at the other location,"Dude how did you even get involved, you are not my store? Again, tells me it cannot be deleted out and is my responsibility.ummm????? I did not even call this store. i am still upset that the pharmacist was totally calling me a liar about what my medication bottle says. I'm actually going to be sending her a copy of the directions on the medication bottle. Listen Walgreens. I get you are busy and people are phallable, but really? This is not the way to treat somebody who's sick. Or anyone for that matter. I am educated and an ex Health care professional. Imagine a person who is not aware or illiterate? People are sick and not at their best. Do better it is literally your job to help sick people. Stop being jerks. Onto finding a new pharmacy. By the time I got home, I was having chest pains and had a hard time breathing shameful!

This location has some items locked up (pretty standard on this side of town), and I'll admit I was not thrilled when I realized my quick, private shopping trip was about to require pressing the button and waiting for assistance. But the associate who helped me completely changed the experience. She was kind, patient, and had absolutely zero awkwardness or judgment in her tone or demeanor. She treated it like any other purchase, which sounds simple, but honestly matters so much, especially in a pharmacy setting where people are sometimes buying things that feel personal or vulnerable. Instead of feeling uncomfortable, I left feeling genuinely grateful. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, and she absolutely nailed it. Thank you for creating the kind of environment people hope for when they walk into a pharmacy.

Actually, if I had a bigger budget, their store brand version would have been a better buy since it was buy one get one free. I just didn't bring enough to buy that big of a bottle. Besides my BiFlex, everything else seemed to be well stocked. I also like to go to CVS for their store brand dried mango. They had plenty in stock here, but I still had some at home. I did self check out, but I still did interact with one cashier. There were three self checkout machines, but I wanted to make sure that the machine I was using would give cash back, since the other two had handwrtten signs on them. She was friendly. She said yes, but don't use tap with my card and voila...I got my cash back.

While I have CVS Pharmacy locations closer to where I live, I drive by this particular location…read moretwice a day. Every now and then, when I need something on the way home from work, I will stop by here out of convenience. I have interacted with the staff, purchased health products, and browsed the shelves for other items over the years. The store is sometimes a bit messy and sometimes very clean. It really depends on the day I stop by. Sometimes there are boxes laying around the store and other times, everything is neatly in its place. The rows are sometimes confusing, too, as everyday items can be in the front row or along the first aisles or the middle aisle on the left where seasonal items sometimes are (if they aren't in the front of the store). I do believe they have made more efforts in recently months to be organized and tidy though. They do not always have common everyday items in stock though as I have left empty-handed several times over the last year. While staffing seems to be quite minimal at this store (or so it seems), the staff have been helpful when I have asked for assistance. If there is someone near the front of the store, they have often said hello when I have entered the store. Sometimes they are stocking items on the aisles until someone is ready to check out. Sometimes there is a wait for someone to come and assist at checkout if you aren't using the self-checkout machines. The staff have always been knowledgeable based on items in stock. I encourage everyone to sign up for ExtraCare, which is a free membership and includes sales prices, deals for you, 2% back in ExtraBucks rewards, a $3 birthday reward, and up to $50 in ExtraBucks rewards at the pharmacy. Then, for $60 per year ($5 per month), you can purchase membership in the ExtraCare+ program, which includes $10 in ExtraBucks rewards per month, free same-day delivery, free shipping, free same-day Rx delivery, 20% off CVS Health brand products, and 24/7 pharmacist help line. Occasionally, there is a $48 discounted annual rate for ExtraCare+ or another promotion. I have heavily used the ExtraCare+ program over the past many years. Also, while the Black Friday CVS deals were incredible a number of years ago, now you can only get good deals but not incredible deals with free items. While I'm a huge fan of CVS in general and the ExtraCare+ program, the stores are hit or miss. I will gladly still come back to this store as need be in the future as I hope that CVS provides the store with more resources to get more staff members and continue filling the shelves with products.
