The jarring classical music is bad and I minored in theater and love loud music. So stupid and inappropriate.Remember people are sick coming in takes precedent over and against scaring off drugies with bone jarring music that raises the Blood pressure. The drive-thru pharmacy is the only redeemable part of this Walgreens. Their pharmacy staff are great, but the rest of the store is a giant hot mess. I went in today to buy some OTC meds and necessities and was greeted at the door by someone coming down from what I can only assume was a heroin bender, harassing me. Outside there was trash strewn everywhere. Staff were nowhere to be seen to help. Found them checking out way back in the photo department. I had been standing by the register awhile and the line was growing. Was told to go check out across the store. So I joined the line and waited and waited. Then was told to go back up front to check out again. Three times waiting in line. What was supposed to be a five minute allergy meds trip turned into over 30 minutes. My daughter is on my prescription drug plan. She went here to get two prescriptions filled which, with insurance, should cost $10. They called and left a message to tell her the prescriptions were over $700. My daughter called, waited 30 minutes on hold, and this is what they told her the insurance had the wrong birth date. I called this Walgreens, waited 20 minutes on hold and the person tried a couple of different ways and said the problem was with my insurance. I called the insurance, they looked at the failures, and said that Walgreens was submitting the claim incorrectly. They told me to have Walgreens call the help line they set up expressly to help stores with trouble submitting insurance. I called back to Walgreens, waited another 20 minutes on hold. I told the person I spoke with about the help line and she asked for the number ... I said they should have it since this is a major insurance carrier. She resubmitted it and it went through. Why did my daughter and I have to spend more than an hour on the phone? Why couldn't Walgreens phone the help line? Why didn't the person who was having with ask for help? yesterday was my first time at this location. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the staff! an older lady I believe to be the manager had to remove a person attempting to steal products. The way she handled the situation was amazing and very professional! She was very calm yet stern. The issues aren't with Walgreens but more of a problem in the area iteslf. read more

I walked in and asked if they had a restroom and employee said they do not have a public restroom. Every other walgreens i have been to allows customers to use restroom. Had an appointment to get Covid booster and flu shot as 12:30. When I checked in the clerk told me there was a problem with their computer and they weren't able to dispense vaccines today. Since they had my phone # and email, and they had known about this problem all day I think they could have notified me. Really poor customer service. But judging from the number of 1 star reviews, it doesn't seem anyone at Walgreens is interested in customer service. read more

I don't visit Walgreens too often, maybe a handful of times a year to get some beanie boos, candies, snacks or special meds I can't find anywhere else. It's more of an extra splurge place I tend to avoid anyway. Well, today was a necessity because I've had an ear infection for 4 days now so I went to the healthcare clinic. I've been to one before years ago and this time around it was a simple enough process setting up an appointment online, especially when you can't sleep at 2am this is super helpful! They have an easy to use kiosk back by the pharmacy and it was only a few minutes wait after my scheduled time and I got to get some much needed care. The doctor there was very friendly and considering my painful issue she made my stay more amusing and enjoyable. To smile and laugh after dealing with an ear infection for many days this is almost as helpful as a prescription for some ear drops. The pharmacy crew were great also, very friendly. I took off a star only because I waited a half hour for my prescription but then found out they had some old insurance so they had to redo the prescription and that took an extra 10 minutes. Not a huge deal for me, I wasn't in a hurry but I wonder if there is a way to double check in the future so there is no confusion or extra waiting time. All in all, better visit than anticipated based on some reviews I saw. I will seek out this Walgreens again when I have some urgent care needs but I will make sure the prescription end is fixed before putting the order in. read more

Great Walgreens sure its in a not so great part of town I go to this area because of Romanelli's and at times there are questionable people who go in but who cares. they give excellent customer service I was greeted with welcome to walgreens by a gentleman that looked like he was from texas then i was assisted by this latina girl with glasses who gave tremendous customer service when I was trying to locate pediolyte and some hot sauce (was trying to prank a friend) I also picked up some food. Scripts almost always take a really long time. It s minimum of a few hours but can often take until the next day. They very often seem to be under staffed. It a very high volume store so they really should have atleast one more person working at a time. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for awhile and I will never be back The employees at this pharmacy treated me like shit. I got out of the hospital the other day after breaking my pelvis, and for the severe pain I am experiencing dealing with this injury I had been prescribed some pain killers. On my way home from the hospital, I had the person driving me home stop at this Walgreens so I can drop off my prescription. I dropped the prescription off and went home. So i get home, my girlfriend is at work at the time when I get home, and I am in a lot of pain. Again I have a broken pelvis and can barely move, so I know that I am not physically capable of brining myself to walgreens to pickup my prescription when it is ready but I also know that I need those pain meds that night because the pain I am experiencing is unbearable. My plan at that time was to have my girlfriend pickup my prescription on her way home from work. I figured there may be some hoops to jump through for someone that isn't myself to come pickup my medication, so I called the pharmacy to ask what my girlfriend will need to do to be able to pickup my prescription. When I call the pharmacy, it is at that point that they tel me that they are closing the pharmacy at 9pm that night. My girlfriend doesn't get off of work until 10 pm, so with that problem presented I ask if they can send my prescription to another Walgreens that is open 24 hours. The lady i spoke to on the phone told me that she knows for sure that she cannot do that, but she would like to transfer my call to the "pharmacists at the front" which I'm guessing was the head pharmacist in charge that night, apparently her name is Desiree. So my call gets transferred to Desiree, as I'm trying to explain the situation, she cuts me off mid sentence and sais to me with a laugh "dude can you please just get to your question". I Felt that was quite rude, I responded by just asking her if she can have my prescription transferred to another pharmacy so i could be able to have it that night. She tells me no, then asks my name, puts me on hold, and then hangs up the phone. At that point I still had questions, so I called the pharmacy back to ask the first lady I spoke with what someone other than myself would need to pickup my prescriptions, because my next plan was to call one of my friends up to see if they could drop what they are doing to pick up my prescriptions for me. The women I spoke to after Desiree hung up on me told me that my friend would need to know my full name, my address, my date of birth, and would need to have their own drivers license. After that phone call I called my friend and asked him if he could drop what he is doing and head to walgreens for me. That friend is a good friend, so he left dinner with his parents to go pickup my medicine for me. I informed him what the pharmacy told me he would need, and he headed that way. But when he got there, he was then being told not only would he need the things i mentioned, but the people at Walgreens were telling him he would need my drivers license as well. So at that point my friend had to come all the way back to my house to grab my drivers license and go back to Walgreens for my meds. At that point finally were we successful and he was able to come back to my house with my much needed medicine. I am down right disgusted with how I was treated by this pharmacy, I was already in a great deal of pain and didn't need to deal with all this crap from them. They mistreated myself and my friend. When you call walgreens you get an automated message saying all of these phone calls are being recorded, and I encourage management to go back and listen to these calls. This all happened Sunday the 12th of November around 8:00 pm. There is a cvs just down the road from me, a little farther than Walgreens is, but I will remember this experience and gladly give my future business to a different company. read more

Well I am trying to think of a nice way to phrase just how terrible this pharmacy is. I am a Walgreens customer, but my normal Walgreens is not 24 hours and so therefore sometimes I am forced to use this place. I hate it. The area is not the best, the staff are jerks, and the service is possibly top 10 worst. I have never not had to wait in a 10+ minute wait line. They usually have to order your medication, even though you have had it filled before and there are refills on your prescription. Had to interact with 3 employees just to buy a weekly ad item. Cashier tried to convince me the coupon that was supposed to accompany purchase at checkout had ended. Fortunately it was pictured in the ad. Before going to the register a member of management helped me locate a hidden stash of two cartons of a different product with the advice that they could order the listed ad item, if I wanted them to. A different member of the management staff used her authority to add the equivalent of the coupon to my rewards. All this unnecessary aggravation makes for poor customer relations. read more

I love the clinic! They are usually on time, always thorough, and my problems are resolved. The negatives I have are always with the pharmacy. Today I made a point to talk with the pharmacy staff after finishing at the clinic, to let them know I'd be waiting for my prescription. I was told the wait would be 15 minutes, and I'm fine with that. I know they are working on hundreds of prescriptions in a given day, though I am the only patient waiting in the store. Somewhere around 25 minutes I stand and start pacing around. At 30 minutes a tech asks me if I'm waiting on something. I give her my info, she looks it up and goes to pull the script from the bin. Who knows how long it had been sitting there?! They seem to lack awareness or perhaps compassion that their customers have other places to be, like work! Hopefully I'll remember next time to have the clinic send the script elsewhere. read more
