The market is very small. It has the typical Middle Eastern groceries. However, it is not worth me driving all the way from Mesa to see.

In the West Valley, where the desert stretches toward the horizon, this place opens its doors and somehow makes the earth feel smaller. You walk in for a few ingredients and leave having wandered through a dozen countries without ever needing a passport. The abundance is almost overwhelming in the best possible way. An entire aisle devoted to noodles, shelves lined with teas that carry centuries of tradition, an eclectic produce section where purple sweet potatoes rest beside Asian pears, pandan leaves perfume the air, and every basket seems to hold a new story waiting to be cooked. Some of my favorite treasures are the bun bò Huế noodles, the purple sweet potatoes, crisp Asian pears, fresh pandan, and the endless array of fun drinks that always convince me to try something new. Every visit feels like a small adventure. And then there are the little surprises that make this place unforgettable: an incredible pho restaurant tucked inside, a jewelry shop sparkling quietly nearby, and families from every background filling their carts with pieces of home. What I admire most is that places like Lee Lee's do more than sell groceries--they preserve memory. They help grandparents pass recipes to grandchildren. They give immigrants a taste of familiarity. They invite curious people to discover cultures different from their own with open hands and open hearts. In a world that can feel increasingly divided, a market like this reminds us that one of the easiest ways to understand another person is to share what they eat, what they drink, and what they gather around the table. I am deeply grateful to have Lee Lee's in the West Valley. It is not just an Asian market. It is a crossroads of cultures, a celebration of tradition, and proof that sometimes the most beautiful journeys begin with a shopping cart.

He said that the last brand didn't sell well and they put everything on sale to clear it out. He gave me an uncertain timeline of two weeks for a restock, but it didn't sound real. I am from out of town, and it's a two hour drive, and I came singularly for the frozen mock meat. I did walk the isles and they do have a lot of items to choose from that you will not find in a typical American supermarket, and I picked up some interesting sauces and condiments I hadn't seen before, which was good. Very, very bad was the bathroom. There was a pool of dirty water on the floor with a mop and pail. The latch on the single sit down stall was broken and I walked in on someone. The sinks are stained and dirty. The smell is bad and overwhelming. They need to clean it and wipe it down and fix the sit down stall latch. All in all, the store has a lot of asian products you will not find in supermarkets, they are comme ci, comme ça! ‍ on frozen mock meat products, and somebody really needs to clean their men's bathroom.

I like coming here to get all different kinds of Middle Eastern style breads which include pita, lavash and tanour bread. There is so many to choose from! This time also I was able to get some za'atar brioches and oh my goodness, I had these for breakfast this morning and they were delicious! I also like to get things here where I can't find elsewhere so I got some pomegranate juice, and some roasted chick pea snacks. They have quite a selection of spices here and I also picked up some roasted sesame. Lots of nuts to choose, and plenty of Middle Eastern/Arabic sweets and desserts available. They also sell hookah supplies here (not a fan - really bad for you). I hadn't been to this location in awhile and I miss that the inside restaurant is no longer open. I liked to get some of the ready made dips and sandwiches here. Bummer. Towards the back, lots of fresh sweets for sale including all kinds of baklava and there is also fresh olives for sale also! Fresh, halal meat available and also some meat that's been marinated and ready to cook. Fresh cheeses also available. I think I like the Mesa location better as I can get spinach and za'atar pies there and the fresh produce selection is better. And also you can get hummus, babaghanoush and other dips at the other location. Overall, I would say that these Baiz grocery stores are my happy place. It brings me back to a sweet and memorable time. It's worth a visit to check out all the unique items here and their pita and breads are fresh, tasty and well priced!

So much good stuff that's unbelievably, affordably priced! What I love: *Produce prices - .69 cents for a bunch of mint; Yes please *Buy by the pound: kalamata olives, three kinds of feta (Bulgarian, Danish, Greek), labneh (creamy Greek yogurt) *Butcher dept w/ anything & everything including those lamb tongues (in photo) - not something I'd eat but each to their own *Pastry dept - they must have about THIRTY different kinds of pastries from pistachio & nutella baklava to traditional ma'amoul cookies *Spice aisle w/ an enormous range of spices from the familiar, cinnamon, to the more exotic (for me), za'atar *All the flavored waters, like rose water and orange blossom water, w/ many brands to choose from * Restaurant/cafe w/ seating area - lunched on a chicken shwarma sandwich & friend lunched on a beef shwarma sandwich; sandwiches are served on thin bread like lahvosh vs. a pita bread For $21 smackeroos, I got the following groceries: Feta cheese/1/2 pound Bottle of rose water Mint bunch Three Persian cukes 1& 1/2 lb of sweet potatoes Pumpkin seeds/8 oz Walnuts/1 pound Cream-topped yogurt/32 oz This same grocery list would be twice the price at Fry's so yes, I'm a new fan of Baiz! Thank you for offering so much to our community.

Staff were very sweet and the store is tiny yet organized. There's a little bit of Japanese, Thai, Chinese & Vietnamese products for you to purchase. There is a refrigerated area with prepared foods in it. Again, it was an assortment of Japanese Chinese and Korean items. I noticed by the crackers and snacks that the store offers samples of each. I wish more stores did this. I was hoping this store would save me a trip to Mesa to the large Asian supermarket. Because of its size, it could not possibly carry some of the things that I wanted. I am glad to know it is there for my needs though. Ample parking in front of the store
