Came here on a Monday around lunch time to pick up my prescription eye glasses. Parking was a hassle, super busy location so had to circle around a few times to find a parking spot. I come here to do my shopping but this time all I needed were my eye glasses. The staff at the optical department are very prompt and professional. They helped me with my eye glasses as I paid a few weeks ago. There is a number ticket system here, take a ticket and wait your turn. I was at optical for only a few minutes and afterwards decided to cruise the store for some free samples. I ended up buying a few items. This store is amazing at offering free food samples, I love it. As packed and busy this place was, the checkout lines were running very smoothly. Cashier was friendly and took maybe 2 minutes to check out They are very efficient despite the long lines of customers. This is my 2nd fave place to grocery shop behind Whole Foods Market. read more

Maybe we just got lucky as it was a Monday but it feels like the aisles are wider, with merchandise better organized than most. Took a star off for the relentless barkers trying to sell you stuff as you exit.. feels very cheap and invasive. Wish I had a fart at the ready so I could have crop dusted them...Self checkout works great so give it a try. read more

I shop at this Costco often, usually on weekends, and always have as good of an experience that you can have at a Costco on the weekend! The other day, I came to shop in the morning, and it was already very hot out. I finished shopping and came out to my car to unload my cart. Put the cart away, was about to start my car when I heard a hissing sound coming from the grocery pile in my back seat. I realized that the cooking spray had somehow leaked and was getting everywhere. I'm not sure if it was the high temperature or a previous damage. I ran back and was going to try and return/exchange but the line was 10 people deep and I didn't want to leave my groceries for that long in the hot car. I went to the entrance and explained the situation to the two ladies working, DonnaBelle and Tracey. They were SUPER understanding and let me run in and get another pack of cooking spray and took the damaged one off my hands. I just really appreciated this and wanted to give them a shoutout. I was in and out because I just needed dog food. I went at 8pm and they close at 830. It was busy but there was no wait in line, except the food court. It was a quick trip where I was in and out in 10 minutes. No issues and no complaints. Parking wasn't even terrible. read more

Fuel island- Fuel prices are about what you pay at shell or fry's with your discount so just be mindful when rushing here for the afternoon fill up. Best time to hit the gas station here is 0600-0730 you are in and out no lines no one to fight with and no idling your car so everyone is happy. Costco actual store- it's clean and orderly I've found Mexican cokes to be cheaper for some reason at this location and some spices to be cheaper here than online or even at another club which is different but I'm not complaining. Things are a little different than other Costco's that I have been to as far as layout, but all the staff are super friendly, and the lines move very fast. Typical Costco store in most respects. Excellent customer support and service. Better than average quality than most products you'll find in retail stores. Weird entrance to their gas station: please drive carefully when entering. When exiting, watch out for the bad drivers, leaving the store shopping area, going way too fast across the paths of those leaving the fueling area. Have had two close calls from people who think it's okay to drive 35-40 mph in a parking lot. Costco needs to put speed bumps in the entrances to the gas station. Desperately needs those speed bumps before someone gets killed. read more

This review is for the Tire Center. Sadly I was not happy with my overall experience. I made an appointment to have one tire replaced because of a nail that was embedded. I arrived on that Wednesday for my schedule appointment. I was told that a "specialty" tire would need to be ordered, and that it would be in on that Friday. Another appointment was scheduled for Friday. Thankfully I called approximately 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment, because no one called me to let me know that the tire was not in as planned and that my appointment was moved to Saturday. Again, thankfully I called on Saturday, because again, no one called me to let me know that the tire was still not in. Side note, I called only because I didn't want to chance driving my car with the tire still having the nail embedded. On Monday, I received a call informing that the tire was in and that I could come up within the hour to have it replaced. I only live about 20 minutes away, so I arrived within the hour. I arrived exactly at 1:36 pm and although no appointment was necessary (or so I was told), I was put on their schedule for a 3:15 pm slot. I was assured that they would address my car sooner than that time slot because of the previous drama. At 2:45 I returned to the tire center, because no one had called me (I had been waiting in the food court), only to discover that the employee couldn't find my paperwork, key fob, or my car. He proceeded to ask me if I was "sure" that I brought my car in. At the same time one other employee was looking for two other keys for two different customers. Both of those customers were visibly angry, with one verbally expressing their anger. The employee that was looking for my fob then took out a stack of papers and was thumbing through them looking for mine. I asked the employee should the police be called because if you can't find my fob or car, then perhaps it was stolen or given to someone else, thus stolen. He ignored me and walked away. Granted the tire center was very crowded and busy; however on all of my visits during this event, the lack of organization of the tire center was an exhausting. Paperwork lying around and at this point, three sets of car keys were missing. Finally, the employee returns and goes into a random drawer where all three sets of keys were subsequently located. Fast forward to Tuesday, I called to make another appointment because my tires were not rotated or balanced. Sadly, I thought that this was part of the process and not something I had to asked to be done. I arrived at my scheduled appointment and the work was eventually done correctly. Nonetheless this rating is only because Billy and Dave provided great customer service and empathy for this craziness. Billy was courteous and acknowledged my frustration. Dave was working very hard to help the customers in the tire center and those on the phone and yet remained incredibly professional and understanding. Both are the only reason I was able to remain calm amidst such chaos. This is a long review; however my hope is that management will do better with organization of the tire center. Granted they appear insanely busy and perhaps even short staffed; however these are even more reasons to have proper systems in place to foster a more organized environment. read more

I was so disappointed with Costco's food court employee's treatment of another member. I was waiting for my order when I hear a member tell the Costco employee at the counter that the kiosh was not printing her receipt. He was not listening to her and assumed that she just didn't know how to use it. She repeated herself not in a rude way at all but the employee kept repeatedly yelling back at her, "PRESS THE GREEN BUTTON" and then he says, "it's not rocket science" I was in disbelief. I went over to the member to see if I can help, giving the employee the benefit of the doubt. The member was not lying, the kiosh said transaction complete but it was not printing a receipt, so I go over to the employee to tell him what the issue was, well he ignores me too and just repeats, "press the green button" I interrupted him and told him that's not the issue. So then he yells from the counter to the member in the Kiosh to just place an order in another one. He told her that her card was that charged. How would he know that? He didn't bother to help her, he kept saying rude things under his breath and out loud. We love Costco, the service has been amazing until now. The food court set up in this Costco needs improvement, the food court staff probably need more assistance and training in customer service. I understand that the food court employees are probably under stress due to the volume of orders but that does not justify the treatment of that other member. So here we were at this Costco location at 27th Avenue and Yorkshire Drive. Evidently by the time we arrived it had opened early and I am presuming because of the Thanksgiving holiday rush for their pies. Sure enough, by the time we managed to get to the pies it was packed with customers. So I parked myself in a location where I could be out of the way of all the shopping carts and allow my better half to slide between other customers to get to the pies. There was a guy who parked next to me to do the same, stay out of the way to not get run over. I could just imagine someone running over and saying did I just go over a bump? Shopping at Costco on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving can be chaotic to say the least but we also needed som essentials and therefore we had to pay a visit. Costco has the best trained and efficient employees and low prices on items that my family uses. I stop here once a week to shop and get gas and the occasional food court item. Who can beat the $1.50 hot dog and soda. The gas pumps have long lines unless you work around the busy times. Have bought tires, batteries, and this week ordered a a LG washer and dryer to replace our deteriorating 10+ year old units. Price includes delivery, installation and haul away of old units plus an additional year of warranty! You gotta check out the business center also but plan on an extra hour to make your way through the ginormous warehouse. read more

I was just instacarting for another order when I got done I had 12 waters. I informed the cashier that I would be back because I am only 5'1 and 109 lbs so I wouldn't have been able to push all the waters out at once even if I wanted to. So I would have to come back inside with my receipts and grab the remaining waters. The cashier said that was fine, but he advised me to inform the manager in the photo. So I did as I was advised and walked up to inform said manager. As I was informing him of the situation, instead of listening to what I was saying he instantly got rude. He interrupted me with "I didn't accept that order, you did." And he just kept repeating that, which I didn't understand because I wasn't asking him to do anything , just informing him of the situation. Terrible experience with Hillary working at customer service! I bought a handheld shark vacuum online, a part broke off so I returned it and got a new one. Well after 6 months the new one wasn't holding a charge. I purchased the newest model and when I returned this one Hillary, who was training a new hire, says, "maybe you should quit buying this product if it's not working out for you". I reminded her that Costco has a 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE and they allow returns so I didn't see what the big deal was. I had a flat tire on my truck at 8;00pm & pulled into the Costco parking lot to attempt to fix it . I called AAA and began the process of removing the flat. Trent , who was collecting the carts in the lot, came over to me and offered to help. He got a jack from his car, & we started to remove the flat. He did not have to do this, & I was very impressed with his attitude and willingness to help me. He even called his dad to ask him a question about the process. We had the lug nuts loose when AAA arrived (about 30 minutes later)...there were very few vehicles left in the lot at this time, I thanked him, and he went back to completing his job of closing the warehouse... my husband and I just shopped Costco north I-17 and Yorkshire he is going on 85 and me 82 ... at self check out...upon asking for assistance at Self check, as we always had ..all UPC codes facing upward ....we were told we had to completely unload our cart and scan...if anything was heavy she would scan it ...so we went to full service check out line and we're again told we had to completely unload our cart ...NEW RULES why would they want to extend this "New Rule" as we can see the scanner in their hand ..this will not make it faster for people to get through the lines... My only complaint with this Costco is the new food design and method of operation. I'm not sure who created the new space or the new kiosk design, but wow, its always a mess. The workers are trying their best but there seems to be no flow to the method. There seems to be so many orders being placed (who can resist a 1.50 hot dog!) but few workers who are pulled in many different directions. There is always confusion as to who is waiting, who is online, who is just looking - there has to be a better way! But to the warehouse in general - you have all been great to chat with! Absolutely amazing prices at Costco always. But did you know they can fill your propane tanks? Under $11 each? Super easy and quick. Bring your tanks to the north side near the tire center and ring the bell if no one standing outside. They feel your tanks and give you a receipt you go into the tire center to pay in your back outside in no time at all. You're going to be bringing home the same tanks as you dropped off. read more
