The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The store is clean. And they have most of the items I need.

Hard to write a super positive statement when you walk in and see managers outside smoking at the front door giving customers dirty looks. The flooring in this location could use a makeover dramatically, the prices on some items don't match the price when you ring up even with your rewards program. They do have a good selection though of snacks and a super well stocked hot wheels section (if your hunting I found a couple TH's and one chase here) The staff can be hit or miss with the attitudes even in self check out where all they do is babysit you. read more

Guys, I came here to buy some groceries and lo and behold, I got some groceries. Most of the brands are what you expect to see in a grocery store. There was really nothing that stood out in terms of good deals or very unique items. The customer service was average as well. If anything surprised me, it was that one of my favorite brands of sake was being sold here. read more

I have purchased all our birthday cakes at this location since my kids were young and then now for my grandkids. I moved away but still drive to this location. Something changed with this bakery, the 1/4 sheet marble birthday cake we picked up yesterday tasted like it had either been frozen or was a packaged product, it was not a freshly baked cake. Wondering if their bakery sheet cakes are now baked elsewhere, not in store? So disappointed as we enjoyed their cakes for so many years and will need to find a new bakery. read more

This places is the PITS when it comes to FRESH PASS. No customer service to help even after speaking to 5 individuals and calling Fresh Pass to complain. I placed an order the night b4 to have it delivered the next day. I received a text informing me that the item I order was not available. By the time I unlocked my phone the order was closed. Was told by employee there's only 90 seconds between time you receive the text and make an adjustment. Then trying to reach someone at the store after talking to four individuals finally got someone that knew something. Was told they would go and get an item to replace what was out of order. They did but the item was not delivered. I called again same story five individuals again and the item was in the refrigerator was told it would be delivered. Grant you it was not charged out to me however I refuse to pay 4.00 delivery, since was NOT my fault. Short story STAY AWAY from this place. They hire idiots read more

I go to a lot of grocery stores right now because that is about the only shopping I do. This Albertsons really has their act together when it comes to the COVID 19 protocol. Their people have not only been trained on the guidelines but they understand them and appreciate the safety of the store. I too appreciate everything they are doing. One way aisles, clean carts, available sanitizer at the checkout, and wrapped credit card scanner. Additionally, there are some subtle things they are doing right as well, cleaning the shelves with sanitizer and I even heard the deli clerk tell someone to please not touch the counter. All of this leads to a better shopping experience. Also, the meat looks fantastic and so does the produce. Have you tried the fried chicken??? WOw, good stuff. read more

This bakery makes the most amazing cakes. The decorator, Michelle, does fantastic work!! We will never go anywhere else for cakes for special events. There was another decorator there when Michelle was off work and she did an amazing job too. I wish I had gotten her name too. read more

Can't say enough great things about this store. Visited on 11/26/21 at 18:12. The layout made it easy to find things. There are lots of items to pick from. Always get good deals on reduced-price items. Staff very kind, engaging, and helpful. In particular, Karen at the Service Desk proved to be particularly helpful, telling me where certain things are located. Made it a lot easier to find the things I overlooked. The cashier, Christopher was very charming and helpful, also. He made small talk with me and I knew I was in the right place. Came home & shredded my Fry's shopper's card then & there. Love this store! The produce is always so nice along with the best meat counter! From the seafood to carne asada to bacon and chicken you can't go wrong! We purchased an umbrella today and Hoose from the meat counter was up front and he was no wonderful to help take that and the very heavy base and load it into my car! I am over it with Albertsons, the last several times the just for u items that are added to your account didn't come off for the correct price Then I get a cashier that I ask a question to about the water do you have to buy 4 to get sale price he says no, then I get charged higher price because he had no clue, I told him about another item he doesn't listen, so I call customer service I am told the whole sorry story and I will get a credit on my account and I don't get a credit, so after shopping I call customer service again now I am told after all the sorry story well they can't put the credit I need store manager too. Tried to pick up one bottle of tequila for a door dash delivery, it was locked in the cabinet, asked someone for help he came with keys but couldn't open it. Went to get help, the helper opened it and sent me to a self check out lane (she knew it was a door dash order) at the self check out the employee could not remove the sales tax. A 3rd employee said just run it anyway it will automatically take the tax off, it did not. So they had to return the bottle and then try to ring me up again with a 4th employee, but the door dash card wouldn't work again because it thought it already purchased the product. So I was going to make $9 if I could get in and out, instead wasted 20 min and couldn't even leave with the product I had to send the order back to door dash. 4 different people all couldn't help me purchase one bottle of alcohol for a door dash order. Pure stupidity. Can't ever accept another order for this Albertsons. read more

Went to butcher to ask for some roast sliced down for me and was told they can't do it. Why even have a butcher department at all. I guess I won't be buying form here anymore. I always overlooked the overall cleanliness of the store because the butcher counter was decent, now I literally have no reason to shop here. Total shame too. Nice marinated chicken at the butcher counter. My school sells SaveAround Greater Phoenix coupon books as a fundraiser. Albertson's has 6 get $5 off $50 grocery purchase coupons in there. I like Albertson's because I can make a fantastic pizza with great ingredients like Signature thin crust ($3.50), marinated chicken breast (pollo asada or sicillian $1.57/lb at the butcher counter), baby arugula ($3.50), and baby bello mushrooms for $.99 per pint. The service staff at the butcher counter is friendly and quick. The cashier was warm and double-bagged my meats while serving with a smile. read more

The 2 older people seem to think it is acceptable to make snide remarks about customers to the extent that my wife will not go near that section of the store. I complained once to the Manager, Chris. We have been going to this location occasionally since 2006. The store is generally I wouldn't say dirty but it's not bright and welcoming inside like say Fry's or even Wal-Mart. Alot of employees look bored out of their mind and definitely look like they rather be somewhere else. However, I give three stars because Albertsons as of late has been having great specials via their ads and coupons. Albertsons also has better meat quality than Fry's and all the other grocery competitors. So basically, Albertsons is a great place to shop and hit up when they have great promotions going on and to buy meat otherwise Winco is where we do all our shopping for food etc. read more

This location is the worst at customer service. No one is kind, says hello, and the worst is at the register! You wait in line 6 feet apart like we are supposed to but they open other lines and don't take the people who have been waiting. That sucks, I also want to get home so I would love to see these people get some training on how to treat customers. This location is right near my house but I will certainly drive further next time. Worst Albertsons I've ever been to. 2 girls working the check stand were more worried about the conversation they were having instead of their customers. The cashier didn't have her name tag on, she was scanning my items and kinda just tossing it to the side, the other girl that was bagging my items, she was wearing a grey sweater and just throwing my bags in the cart. Mind you I had bread, chips, and fragile items in there. Worst customer service I've ever received. Never coming back to this location. The only person in the entire store that even said 1 word to me was the young girl that came outside to collect carts. Management needs to take a hard look at the customer service side. read more

When the family comes over and you need a few more items, and you look in the ad for the best deal on corn on the cob, it's Albertson's just down the road. Oh, and they have Ball Park buns and brats on sale, so why not pick them all up? Great! Well there is one thing you can always count of Albertson's for....being out of the items in the ad!!!! This hasn't just recently happened, it a regular occurrence. "Would you like a rain check?" the clerk asked. "No, I want corn!" Whether it's ribs, steaks, or produce, count of them to be out of it nearly every time. I had stopped at Fry's up the road first but couldn't find a parking spot. The customer service manager at this store, Kathy, needs further training on how to help customers. Don't go to this store because they will pass off responsibility to other people and say "that's Laura's department I can't do anything about that" I've never had such a humiliating experience at a grocery store. Sure, they might be a bit more spendy than the Fry's down the street. But my sanity is worth that price. While that Fry's is a zoo 24/7, (I'll have to review it separately), Albertsons is an oasis of banal pleasure. It starts with the Starbucks at the entrance, and ends with the sweet emo kid who mans the register. The produce man always greets me, and even though I know he is forced to do so, it's still nice. Nice. That's how the whole store is -- uncrowded, wide aisles, neatly stocked goods, everything clean and tidy -- nice. It's like the valium of grocery stores. read more

I visited this store three days before Christmas to get cookie decorating supplies. At this point of the holiday season I was tired of crowded and understocked stores. Honestly, I was expecting the worst. They would be out of everything I needed because everyone else and their grandma was getting ready to do the Christmas cookie rumba in their kitchen. I have to say that this store pleasantly surprised me! I was greeted immediately, then as I turned down an aisle, a young employee asked me if I needed help. Not being familiar with the store layout they took me right to the FULLY STOCKED cookie decorations! I was able to find everything I needed with pleasant and helpful employees and not being rammed by other shoppers carts! Every employee I passed greeted me with what appeared to be a pleasant sincereness. It really made the pre-Christmas food shopping at the end of a long work day a delight. read more

This grocery store chain is getting more annoying each time! The one on Thunderbird used to run out of sales papers on the first day of a sale and say you couldn't get the sale price without a coupon that was only found in he paper, go figure. Then some employees would say you had to cut the coupons out to use them, others would say you don't. The employees look so annoyed like they hate being at work. I gave up on that one and drove out of my way to the one on Cactus just for it to be worse. They don't have half the items in the sale paper. They have a print out hanging in the freezer saying that the misprinted a sale but they didn't even have the one they supposedly corrected. They had 2 lines open at 6pm which is nuts! No one wants to help. I wish I could give it less than zero stars. read more

Amazing difference between people that work at the Meat & Seafood counter. One friendly, with amazingly good customer skills and the other should find a different line of work, like it's a chore to be nice or like doing you a favor for just waiting on you. Brand loyalty goes only so far when you regularly spend a hundred dollars a pop at the meat counter and get rude service. read more

This review is for the bakery only! My son wanted a Minecraft themed birthday party, not just any Minecraft party. A mustached pink sheep party. After being told they couldn't make the cake he was wanting at several other grocery bakeries Albertsons was my last resort. I was assured that what he wanted wouldn't be a problem. I have to admit I was a little skeptical! The bakery in this store is small and sometimes the selection isn't very good. Imagine our surprise when we picked up the cake the day of the party. She nailed it. Not only was the cake picture perfect, the Bavarian Cream filling was awesome and the cake moist and fluffy. The best part it was only $25. I think this is the first time we have never had any cake leftovers and the black frosting didn't make everyone's lips and teeth stained. I never really shop at this store unless I need something quick or they are having a great sale but from now on this will be my go to for all baked goods. read more

I don't usually shop Albertsons, but I check their weekly ads and if they are offering a good sale on something, then I'll stop in at this one to get that item. What I like about Albertsons, and this one is no different, is that the store is pretty well stocked as compared to other chain grocery stores in my area. Though Albertsons prices are a bit higher than others in my area, it is good to have more options available and the item you are looking for in stock, which I have always found at this Albertsons. I also like that Albertsons does not have self checkout lanes. I don't mind waiting in line and usually if they have 3 people waiting, they will call for a back up cashier. All the cashiers I have encountered in the past have always been very helpful and friendly. There is one (I hate to use the term but can't think of anything else to say because I fit in the same category) "older" lady who works a lot of the Friday mornings when I stop in. She is always so very pleasant and friendly and always has a smile on her face. read more

In the last month I have experienced: dodging construction workers and equipment (in the afternoon), elevated and incorrect pricing, and employee attitude. I have to agree with Korina here... Albertsons is a treat for me because it is not where I frequent for everyday things (I live almost too close to Frys and SAFEWAY) so it seems that whenever I go there I am interested in some kind of culinary creation. I actually get a kick out of walking into this grocery store hearing the under-age Starbucks baristas flirting with the 'security' guy because before I can even get annoyed I am greeted by the produce man. (Most likely the same one who greets Korina!) He is always interested in helping me select the perfect apple or point me in the direction of the hottest pepper. I also enjoy their prepared salads and sandwiches as a nice convenient alternative to stopping somewhere else on the drive home. read more

Today I had made a trip to this location as I looked forward to a nice cook out with my family. I am happy I was able to find the items needed in the produce section for the family occasion as they were stocked with fresh produce and also had a great deal on their meat selection. As for getting customer service, I asked an Albertson associate how to pick out a watermelon... he went ahead and stopped what he was doing and happily told me how to pick one out and said the one I pre selected was a good one. I am glad I stopped here for tonight's family meal. read more

Unless you would like to get screwed over I highly suggest you do not order groceries for delivery. My 79 year old mother did and her order was brought this morning. The order was missing 2 items although the paperwork said the items were delivered. We figure no big deal mistakes happen just make a call to customer service and get it taken care of no harm no foul, WRONG! customer service tells her they can credit the cost back to her credit card which will take 5-7 days. She asks if the missing items can just be brought out to her. ( Mind you the store is less than a mile away) customer service says sure but there will be another delivery fee..What? seriously! Pay another delivery fee when the fault was on there end and make her wait 5-7 days on the credit for what she already spent? Well there goes anything she saved by shopping smart and buying the sale items. In fact it ends up costing her more than the original price. So basically 10 dollars worth of hamburger ends up costing her around 24 dollars and her little package of blueberries that were supposedly delivered and weren't she can't even afford now. Mind you she's 79, fixed income and no car. So instead of just having the items brought to her they find it best to make her spend more money she don't have to cover what was 100% a fault on their end. Way to show you don't give a crud about your customers or making things right! Horrible, horrific, and uncaring. Customer service rates a negative 10 and not that it makes a difference to Albertsons but they lost a 20 plus year customer. Plus myself plus as many as I can reach on social media. Way to treat a 79 yr. old loyal customer guys you should feel real good about yourselves. SHAME ON YOU! read more
