Do not buy right cards here! I received a $50 Macy's gift card and $100 Target card and when I went to use them I was told they have already been used. Even though they were in the envelopes that you zip open the pin nbrs were scraped off. The cashier at macys even opened it herself. Now I have to go through weeks of investigations to determine if I can get the money back and when I called the store I spoke to John the Operations Mgr and he was like oh well we are just the vendor! This review has been years in the making...they've never gotten better over the years just completely worse. Today marks my 4th time in two days trying to pick my son's medication up at this drive through joke of a pharmacy. Trip #1: first trip to CVS the person told me his prescription was at the other pharmacy. (We've always used this drive through pharmacy so that's mistake #1). She said she can transfer it to her location but it'll take 20 mins to fill. I've got a car full of babies so I leave to get a car wash and come back. Trip #2: She says it's ready however she'll have to charge me for his prescription because my son's medical isn't approving it and I need to call medical. I've never paid for his medication ever. So I leave and call medical. They said his insurance is 100% good to go and CVS should have no issues and shouldn't be charging me. Medical also finds it odd that CVS is suddenly trying to charge me and why they suddenly have a problem with his insurance. Trip #3: I go back after getting this info from medical. CVS says they still have to charge me because there's an issue with my son's insurance...I told her I called his insurance and they confirmed they shouldn't be charging me. She said she can call his insurance and try to figure out the issue and she'd call me back. I think she should've just done this in the first place...She called me back stating medical confirmed there's no issue and that I could pick his medication up without being charged. At that point I had to go to work and wouldn't be able to pick up his medications until next day, which is today. Trip #4: I go back this morning before work to get my sons very important daily medication. Unfortunately I have to use the drive through for pick up and cannot go into the store. So I drive up and see this sign posted in the window...they're closed at 9:30am on a Tuesday. I'm hoping the 5th time is a charm however this has always been an ongoing issue with this CVS. How are they even a business? They treat their clients like crap and give them the run around and they're not even open during their normal business hours. The gas, time and energy they've wasted and days they've ruined of mine is just too much. Even my sons Dr does not like this CVS. Everyone in town knows this CVS is such a joke! read more

The star is for whoever in management is in charge of staffing schedule. The Drive thru is never open during hours. I asked about this and they say if they are short staffed they are unable to open drive thru. 9:30 in the morning, massive store, one employee. Octogenarian spent 10 minutes trying to self check out while I waited 10 minutes for employee to come unlock over-the-counter meds near the pharmacy despite pushing the button and hearing the overhead call twice. First off, one of the best CVS I've ever been to. Well stock items in the front store ..friendly and helpful staff. I love the self check out. As for the Pharmacy...I need to give a shout-out to Dr. Suleiman Jangikhan for his hard work and for the amazing team he has. I've been going to this Pharmacy since I've been staying in Yountville, CA for at least a year now. No matter how crazy it gets with the phone calls, drive thru and long lines...Dr. Jangilhan (Pharmacy Manager) and his team of technicians have always managed to help everyone in line with the professionalism and couteous service. Recently, my family and I were able to get our booster shots and flu vaccine since we registered online. (Easy process) Suleiman took the time to explain everything and when he gave the injections it was not painful. I've met Anne, Michelle and I feel horrible because there are two amazing women in the back that are always helpful but I have not been able to get their names. (Both may be Filipina) I usually go to the drive thru when they are helping me. In the past, I have witnessed customers being rude and making hurtful comments to the staff here. It's disheartening because every single person there works so hard. I just feel that some folks are treating the Pharmacy as if it's a drive-thru burger joint...they want fast service, screaming about insurance Co-pays...it goes on. People tend to forget that these health professionals are making sure our medication is correct and there's no room for errors. No repeat business from me. During the pandemic I forgot (first time ever) to wear a mask. Three CVS Pharmacy Assistants scr-eeemed at me from the back of the store... it was like an assault. The thuggish theeesome bellowed, "Put on a maaaask!". Oh geez I thought...forgot my mask. Sooo... I did not see a mask to purchase at the pharmacy counter and asked the boisterous Pharmacy Assistants if I could purchase a mask...immediately. While each attempted to engross me with their false-eyelash black eyeliner--Stinky-Eye--rolling behavior an Assistant punitively stated to this older customer, "Theres a notice about masks on the door when you enter." Oh, I thought...Never mind that the doors are propped open and no person can read the postings. To that I stated, "Sell me a mask I forgot". Their punitive reply... "We don't sell masks at the pharmacy...you have to go to the front checkout to buy one". Hoowhee! An actual shaming walk...ick. Okay, the attendant at the front counter -- embarrassed by the Assistant behavior gifted me a mask. Mask in place I went back to the pharmacy and secured medication, but they were not nice...real attitude...ATTITUDE. I thought, enough. Before departing I stated, "Hey Ladies! Why cant you sell a mask at this location...you know...help a person with protection at the moment you notice an infection control concern. Why send a potentially infected person back through your store while breathing and coughing and spewing infection throughout the rest of the store and other people? What kind of infection control policy are you engaging? The Techs and the customers looked at me like I had lost my mind...hmm. Misbehaving Again... Continuing I stated, "You are filling medication for people who need it for medical care while SCREAMING with ATTITUDE medically illogical direction which does not indicate you comprehend ... at all....why a mask is necessary for infection control. If you are intent about mask protection for infection control...then stop disrespecting people by screaming at them from the rear wall of your workplace. Act responsibly to control infection....instead of behaving like illogical and ill-educated gang members - bullying people instead of protecting your customers from disease --- right? This is a tough time, don't make it worse. Definitely, do not assume that an unmasked person in your store is an unmasked anti-vaxer and commence loudly screaming. I thought, What a threesome of Pharmacy Thugs. Napa has a Labor Market problem. Then, Thee Pharmacist while wildly blinking her eyes as accentuated by her thick eyewear said, "We cant sell masks at the Pharmacy". I said, "Yea? You sell other types of medical protective objects. Can you demonstrate why enacting a procedure of yelling at customers and sending each unprotected back through your store protects any person? Can you author a scholarly Journal Article about why screaming, shaming, bullying and refusing to help any person with protection is efficacious?" "You should all feel...quite embarrassed that you treat customers this way...during a sad time in our history. Geez Ladies...don't act like Thugs...just help folks." Really CVS? I don't want these Thugs filling my prescriptions...cant trust the behavior. Hire carefully, train your employees and provide them with considered policies which place the welfare of your customers first....right? read more

This store and its parent company are not worth frequenting - ever again. Visited store and used restroom which was as disgusting as you would expect from a gas station in the middle of nowhere! Called and reported the issue to the 800# and requested a call back. Did so again two weeks later, requesting a regional manager contact me. Still no response over 7 weeks later. Then completed an on line response and was promised a response in 5-6 business days - now two weeks later still no response. The facilities were disgusting and their customer service is awful. Never going there again and would strongly recommend against shopping here, it is unsanitary - probably should have called the health department and not wasted my time with CVS. read more

I have called the pharmacy four times and have waited 10 minutes each time for someone to answer the phone. I have still not spoken to anyone. I was only trying to make a courtesy call to let them know they have the wrong phone number for one of their customers. I'm done trying . Too bad their customer doesn't know her prescription is ready. I have been notified at least 6 times by text or phone. I am so glad this pharmacy is 200 miles from where I live. This has to be the largest CVS I have ever been in. I suspect it was once a grocery store and CVS took it over. It is so large that it feels unorganized to me. And it also smells like they had a flood at some time so there is that mildew smell that you associate with wet carpet. Speaking of carpet- the place is carpeted which is also weird to me. Huge selection of things though which is why I have to give it 3 stars. Given we were the only ones in the place- I can't figure out how they keep such a huge inventory. I can never, ever seem to remember everything when I pack, so we stopped by this CVS to pick up a couple of incidental travel-size toiletries. The store is weirdly large, but it was easy enough to find what we needed and head up front to the registers. However, what was supposed to be a quick run inside to grab a couple of things then turned into a much more frustrating experience than it needed to be. The lady in front of us was dithering over what sort of bags she wanted her wine in, and the cashier seemed completely uninformed about what kind of bags she even had. Listening to them debate paper, plastic, hmmm do you have any paper ones specifically for bottles, etc., and actually get the items bagged, was infuriating. Once they finally finished, watching the cashier slooooowly and painfully ring up our whopping 3 items that totaled $7 was agonizing. I practically snatched them away from her to put in my purse, since I didn't want a repeat of the bag discussion. I don't understand what was taking her so long, but it was incredibly painful and doesn't make me love CVS any more than I already don't. I use this pharmacy to fill my prescriptions. While there have been some hiccups, I'm giving it 5 stars for Nicole who works there. Whenever I call, see if my script is ready, she's always kind, patient and gives me accurate info. Others are vague and leave me hanging in the wind. This location normally does not have adequate staffing , the wait time to check out is very long and the Pharmacy staff is rude and not helpful. I went in to pick up a prescription the first person took my information pulled the fulfilled prescription but sent me over to wait in line with the people dropping off prescriptions. When the second person spoke with me her demonstrated behavior was indifferent I asked her a question and when when I asked her to clarify something she said she began to loudly repeat herself. I explained I had no problem hearing her I had additional questions . She again spoke to me very loudly and I left. I called my doctor and moved my prescription to a competitor. Not much love for this sad, sizable pharmacy. They have a long abandoned outdoors/garden wing (unlike Walmart, which just opened theirs) that sits sad&empty. I was able to get some coffee on clearance, and realized that a CVS card would help. I got some skin care products- and while it's a huge place, only one cash register was open- so it backed up. At another cash register, someone was talking on the phone for a LONG TIME. For first thing in the morning, this place was a ghost town. The CVS at the corner of Imola&Coombs is newer, much nicer, better staffed. Even the somewhat shady 24 hour CVS down the street is nicer. read more

Quite possibly the slowest pharmacy I've ever used. I've used other CVS pharmacies across the country which we're just fine; quick service & communicative if there were issues with the script or insurance before being told the script is ready and then waiting in slow-moving lines to just be told to go wait in another line. However, since moving to Napa, I've had nothing but trouble with this pharmacy. The staff is friendly enough but they seem perpetually understaffed and their equipment is slow and outdated. There is constantly a line of at least 15-25 minutes...and that's if everything runs smoothly. Find somewhere else if you value your time at all. read more

The pharmacy hours on here are wrong. It closes at 8pm on weekdays, 6pm on Saturdays, and 5pm on Sundays.

The pharmacy staff (not including Ana) is so bad that I wonder how they function. The techs are really rude, never smile and tell you to shut up. I thought they just didn't like me but I see from this page that I am not alone in my experience. The manager is Ana and she is very good but I only see her sometimes and so I leave upset and angry every other time. Today the 80 year-old pharmacist freaked out and said he didn't know how to fill my routine prescription. This is malpractice and CVS shouldn't be allowed to handle drugs without the proper personnel in place. Do NOT use this CVS. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacies I've ever been to and I'll be changing as soon as I have my next prescription to pick up. There's never enough help here and, even when there seems to be, it always takes forever to get anything rung up. Last time I was double charged even though I questioned it so I brought my receipt this time in the hopes they'll give me my $10 back. The time before that, the guy at the pharmacy started helping me, then started to help someone else before I'd even slid my card trough, hence making things even slower. Sadly a lot of older people who seemed to be distressed. May I suggest Rite Aid on Imola. 100X better. I was told the manager worked late and therefore wasn't coming in that day. This pharmacy totally sucks at answering the phone, filling prescriptions and taking care of anything in a timely fashion. Every time I call I get put on hold for over half an hour. I called again today and after 35 min on hold they hung up on me!!! I might as well just drive there and ask the question. However, they take forever at the counter also. Also when I ask for a prescription to be filled by a certain date, they don't even try to fulfill it until days later. They obviously need more help. The people are nice, but otherwise they get and F grade from me. Use another pharmacy if you are in any type of hurry to get anything. read more

Me and my younger sisters came here to buy snacks and the employees here kept following us around and wouldn't leave us alone. I thought maybe they would do this to all customers but I noticed they only did us (three Mexican girls) and not the white men and women in the store as the same time as us. They would pretend to be working on the aisle nearest to us and thought we wouldn't notice. I have plenty of experience in retail and know how things work, I KNOW what they were doing. They only confirmed my suspicions by sending another employee after us. How close minded and shelled do you have to be to he intimidated by three young girls? I told my sisters to put everything they were planning on buying back on the shelves out of anger and told them we should go to Nob Hill instead; to that we were greeted by an employee following us outside. I am extremely disgusted and offended by the behavior we had to experience from these older women when we had done nothing wrong. This all happened only twenty minutes ago. Highly unprofessional especially with customer service communication skills. Then when the customer gets upset & communicates their (the Pharmacist medication error) they treat you like it was all your fault. Unreal! When a patient expresses to the pharmacist that certain brands of medication causes intense stomach ache, they are told to wait for the correct medication to come in. When customer returns as instructed by Pharmacist, she then tries to force feed sell the same incorrect medication that patient was trying to avoid. Warning: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! read more

All I've wanted is the pharmacy's fax number!! I called a few days ago and was on hold with the pharmacy for 12 minutes till I "lost" the call. I didn't have the time to call back so I literally called like 5 minutes ago, so around 9:30 pm today (10/09/16) but the pharmacy was closed so I spoke to a what sounded like a young guy at the store. I asked if he happened to have the fax number for the pharmacy, he was SO rude and said no but that he "guessed" he could ask a manager, he put me on hold without telling me then got back on the line and gave me the number. This is the only store in it's chain that's opened twenty four hours in this city and the cities around it. They're clean, well stocked and organized. The staff is helpful, pleasant and professional. They also provide MoneyGram services at all times. I always enjoy shopping here when am visiting this beautiful valley. I highly recommend this store. read more
