Jeremy was extremely helpful, kind, and patient! We came here at around 8:45pm for passport photos on a Sunday night. My toddler was the real challenge when attempting to take his photo. Most of the employees here seem very aloof. There must be a lot of turnover because I see new people every time I go in there. People who seem like they barrely care about their job, over worked or both. Last Friday I went to buy a big bottle of Hennessey, and I went up to the counter and this middle aged lady employee was on her phone away from the checkout counter. I thought she must be doing something work related because she wasent aknologing me. A full 2 minutes went by before u said "Are you open?" She's like OH! Yeah... She rang up my stuff and I was paying with cash and ended up being less than a dollar short. I then asked if I could pay with card and I literally got the old "Dios mio" and the eye roll! Feeling awkward about it I started digging through my pockets and found a dollar, gave it to her and didn't get change back! What the hell!! read more

The store is not where you want to go for anything. On a recent visit I as shocked at the dismal condition of the cosmetics department. Little to no stock & what was there was in locked cabinets. This past weekend I tried reaching someone in the Pharmacy to ask questions about a medication I'd been prescribed. *** NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! *** I don't know who is managing this store. Took 20 minutes to find my name in system even though I gave them correct spelling and repeatedly told them my name was hyphenated. You would think in this woke society this would be a norm. Once they found the drugs the pharmacist had decided to go on lunch break so would have to wait even longer as it includes a controlled substance. So I head into surgery with no post op meds - pains or antibiotics. Very rude and very uncaring staff at yet another CVS. I view all CVS's as pretty "meh" stores but this location's pharmacy is far worse than others. They ignore phone calls so it's luck if you get someone (I've called 10+ times over a few days before, if they don't answer within 20sec then they never will). They have longs lines, consistently fill the prescriptions wrong then make you wait in a different line to fix it with someone else, then go back to the first line to wait to pick it up. I waited nearly 1.5 hours (and I have a two hour drive ahead of me) two days ago only to have the pharmacist tell me (after standing in line a second time) that he couldn't fill my scrip till Friday. Fine. I was coming back that day anyway so I didn't bother taking the scrip home with me. I'm wasn't annoyed that I couldn't fill it till Friday, I was annoyed that I had to wait for 1.5 hours to be told that, putting me right in the middle of rush hour (and late to another appointment). I get here today (Friday afternoon) and wait in line (twice! only to be told that the pharmacist that day didn't even get it started the next day, like he said he would, so it wasn't even initiated yet and it would be about a 40 minute wait. Now I have no choice but to wait again and hope that it gets filled. The pharmacist on duty right now was nice and it wasn't her fault (and I made sure I told her I knew that), but good grief! I drove nearly 2 hours each way twice now and I'm waiting to pick up a medication that I was told would be ready. To be fair, this hasn't happened here (or at ANY pharmacy I've been to) before, but this took a massive chunk out of my day on Tuesday and now another chunk of another afternoon. Not cool. read more

No regard for anyone or there time. Prescription was sent here for my daughter and came to try and pick it up and was told it'll be an hour. Came back in an hour and was told tomorrow I'll let it be that's fine since I just waited in my car. Came back today with no prescription or phone call to advise me that nothing was done. Then got told it's just Robitussin PM and asked well if that's all it is why didn't you give it to me yesterday. They of course had no answer and couldn't transfer prescription anywhere else because it was called in. First time and last time... back to Walgreens. read more

This pharmacy is abysmal - other than the cashier, the staff is incompetent and, as is often the case with incompetent businesses, they are also rude. They don't pick up their phone, leaving customers on hold indefinitely. Inexcusable for a pharmacy, which deals with people who are ill or otherwise in need of care. The male pharmacist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We we're traveling through the area and I needed a prescription simply transferred over one time from another CVS. There aren't many other stores where we're going. I was told it would take 5 hours to fill, something I've NEVER heard at any other pharmacy ever before. He acted like the entire task was a huge burden on him. I've never been told to wait more than 15-20 minutes at any other pharmacy before. Yea so shopping experiences at majority of CVS stores are terrible but this particular one is exceptional at disservice. My friend calls it "Customer Value Sucks" because they're so rude. My experience today, theres a long line at checkout, and eventually a new line opens up. In the normal world, of course whoever goes there first gets served first. But no, in CVS Land, there's only 1 line no matter how many checkouts there are. I go there with a overfilled basket and the stupid lady told me she'd take the next person in the other line. 5 months later, I sadly still have not switched pharmacies. Hopefully I can find a new one after today. Because after getting home I noticed that one of my medications was a different dose than the dose I've been on for several years. I called CVS and after over 10 minutes on hold was told that they gave me the wrong dose and I would need to bring the bottle back to get switched out. Fortunately I am an educated healthcare consumer. What if I was an elderly person or someone with poor eyesight who didn't realize they had the wrong dose of their medication? Errors like this are not acceptable. read more

Love this store since I normally work late hours in the evening and this store is open 24/7. Very convenient with great staff as they all are Customer Service oriented and know how to treat their customers qith a smile. It only makes it easy for both parties involved. CVS used to be good but it's gone downhill . They've told me that they put a order in for a prescription, only for me to find out it never got put through. It took me over two weeks to finally get my medication. Two weeks, two weeks I had to deal with withdrawals, inept employees, and then dealing with flare ups because I didn't have my medication. Some of the employees are super good but then others are like, why are you even in this field? Don't get me started on the mile long line while all the employees are doing who knows what. read more

CVS sucks so bad! I was told my insurance is no longer active so I left, called my insurance to check and sure enough it's still active. So I called the pharmacy advised associate I'm still active, they entered my insurance number incorrectly and was told there's 30 min wait (although my rx was all filled and ready to be picked up). So I decided to just go home and come back some other day, after hanging up the phone with the rx associate I got a text my prescription is ready. WTF CVS! Get your $hit together!!! This review is for the pharmacy, we walked into the pharmacy seeking assistance after we had our luggage stolen (with prescription medicine in it). The pharmacist here was annoyed and made it very evident our problem was not his concern at all. We left feeling lost and stressed, drove to a rite aid where the super caring and kind pharmacy staff got in touch with our Dr back at home and we were provided the assistance we needed. Shelves at this CVS are well stocked, seems just like anywhere CVS. And seems understaffed, just like the other CVS's I have been to :-/. I frequent this Trancas location as I get my prescription filled here. Now we're gonna talk slow. Hard to believe how horrible the customer service is. Tried to call this morning. 12 minutes on hold the first time, no one answered. Second time, over 20 minutes and no answer. My daughter made an appointment for vaccine in the meantime. We show up, standing at the window to check in. Three people working in the Pharmacy, all completely ignore us. Someone walks up to the Pharmacy pickup window and one of the people ignoring us goes straight to him. When I point out that we are waiting, get a nasty, "We'll be with. We're busy." No one else at the Pharmacy but us and the guy who walked up 5 minutes after we arrived, but I guess actually taking care of customers is at the bottom of the list of tasks to complete. read more

Totally awful. Dropped a prescription at 9:45 am and by 1:30 pm it wasn't ready. There is always a waiting line and the Latino clerk likes to jump her friends ahead in the line. Last month I got the flu. Rite Aid ran out of tami flu and called this Farmacy to supply my prescription. They told the RA clerk that it would be ready in 45 minutes. Knowing them I went two hours later and wallah, no prescription. This is ridiculous. DOES THE CVS FRANCHISE EVEN CARE? Bottom line. I live within walking distance of this pharmacy but is faster to drive to rite aid at Imola avenue to get a prescription. read more

Wish the people working at the pharmacy were nicer. Very short with customers who are trying to be friendly. I went to pick up a new prescription and was greeted by a frowning woman who said "nope, don't see you in the system. Go to drop off". Once I got there, the woman looked me up, couldn't find me and said "You're not in the system. Next guest!" I wanted to cry, but decided to go to the cvs down the street. Napa has very few 24 hour businesses, other than the Denny's on Soscol, and the Loop Market across the street from this CVS. For a CVS, they have an extensive selection, with OK prices. It's a good place for last minute errands. It's near the Highway, centrally located between 29 and Silverado Trail. I was able to get what I needed and get my errand done quickly. read more

APPALLING After experiencing problems with my eyes for some time I purchased (over the counter) Visine-A eye drops from this CVS store yesterday. Shortly after using it today I noticed that my vision had gotten very blurry - in fact, my pupil was dilated!!! And because I don't know what the ingredients for dilating eye drops are called, I gave the pharmacy a call to ask them. At first I spoke to a young lady from the pharmacy department who then put me through to the "Pharmacist". I explained what had happened and asked if the eye drops might contain dilating ingredients but was told by the" PROFESSIONAL" that it does NOT and that there must be something going on with the eye and to see a doctor! REALLY??????????????????? I just googled the question: CAN VISINE-A CAUSE THE PUPIL TO DILATE? and here is the answer: Yes! The "A" part of Visine A is an anti-allergy medicine that can dilate your pupil. I did this to myself once and really freaked myself out! Then, I put a drop in the OTHER eye and watched the same thing happen :-) It's just a normal reaction to the anti-allergy med. Nothing to worry about. Source(s): RN My question: Why does CVS offer a service where a professional pharmacist answers a question over the phone if the man clearly did NOT know what he was talking about - nor did he care!!! If zero stars were available, I'd give them that! How unprofessional can a staff be? Just stop in and try to get your prescription filled to find out. I'm not sure how insurance is in the system for one prescription and not for the next. Where does the information go? Wait, there's more! My dr. calls in my prescription in the AM, go to pick it up in the late afternoon and it's not ready. I'm told it'll be "expedited," 35 minutes later, after I left, I received a call letting me know my script is ready. If that's expediting...what is a normal time frame? Wait, let me guess...days??? I just left and said I'd have my dr. call in a prescription elsewhere. I would not recommend this pharmacy! read more

This is for the pharmacy only. My mom had surgery and we dropped off the precription @ 9:58. The tech told us it would be an hour, so an hour later we came back. The trainee tech told us he had not even entered the precription, my mom still had the bandage on her hand and hospital bands on her other hand.
