It was the closest, same-day appointment center I found on Yelp. They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $1copay. They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right there. I didn't give 5 star because of the their poor communication with the doctor. I had to revisit the doctor office back and forth many times to "fix" the prescription amount.... Overall they were very helpful and kind people. They also offered me better alternatives that's wallet friendly.

Their baked goods are always so soft and fresh, and I'm not sure if they do their baking in the store or of all of the baking takes place at a different location. I also needed to get a couple of things like milk, peanut butter, and bread. I also got a six pack of Pellegrino water which has been my main water source lately. This grocery store is modern and they pretty much have everything that I need. Not so much for some of my organic favorites and I go to a different grocery store for those things.

When I moved her years ago, people sent me to free standing bakeries where they charged hundreds of dollars for specialty cakes and one day when I was in a rush I picked up a ready made cake at The Potomac Giant. The cake was beyond delicious and I found out that they took custom orders. I started working with Tim and I believe he had made my family around 30 cakes in the past years. Today, I picked up the most beautiful sheet cake for a going away party for a friend of ours moving to Florida. Tim spent hours on the cake and it shows in every detail. We haven't had the celebration yet but I know as in the past, every bite will be delicious and everyone will ask. " who made the cake"

But, I was really close to this store on Copley Place and decided to pop in. For me, this location was a bit confusing. I am sure if I shopped here more often I would probably get used to the aisles and grocery items. The people who work there were as nice as could be. They pointed me in the right direction and one person, even walked me over to the aisle I was looking for. Unfortunately, this store was out of both items I was shopping for. I did find a few things I needed. But, as I came up to the counter, I saw the cherry tomatoes that I picked up, were rotting at the bottom. So, I gave them back to the person working there. I hate to compare, but I really don't think this store is as clean as the one I usually shop at. So, given that they were out of stock for the items I usually buy and the item I picked up was spoiled. I probably won't be coming back to this Harris Teeter.
