I have never had an issue with any CVS pharmacy or store ever. That is until yesterday and this morning. The pharmacy put on hold for almost an hour! Then I called the main store line they picked up the phone and immediately hung up the phone. You'd think management would look into this ! This place is a disaster. The same people are never working each time you come in. I have never been serviced in under 15 minutes in either the drive-through or the store when picking up a prescription. There is always a long line regardless of the time of day, and the staff is in adequate, and in confident Incompetent the last time I visited here I was even told that I wasn't in the system even though I've lived in the neighborhood for 30 years. This is my regular pharmacy. I've been coming here for years and have never experienced what I experienced tonight. I dropped off my 2 prescriptions on 12.20.22 I was just diagnosed with kidney stones and was given Tamsulosin and Norco. When I dropped off the prescriptions I was told by the pharmacy technician who I found outs name is Valeria that they are all out of Norco and they would have to order it. Understandable. I go back to pick up my other prescription 12.21.22 and decide to inquire about my pain meds. The pharmacist could not find anything in the system regarding my pain meds. He told me he would call me once they find it. Uh, how about No! I asked them to find my prescription and I'll take it elsewhere. This was at 9:11pm it is now 10:24 pm and I'm still waiting. I was told that the tech ( Valeria) who took my prescriptions would not know if they were out of narcotics because they are left in the safe and only a pharmacist would know. After the store checked the cameras they found out that I was there and I did drop off the hard copy. So here I am waiting and I finally go up and ask what's the status? The pharmacist says oh we can't find it and we called the er to let them know it was our fault and that the prescription hasn't been filled and if they could send over another one. The er said no, that I have to go back to see the er doctor again. What an inconvenience. All the pharmacist said was I'm sorry there's nothing I can do. I will be calling corporate tomorrow morning. Oh but the worse thing is that this tech Valeria has done this before. One of the other techs said. With all this being said, I will never go to CVS again. I left work early to drive my elderly father to get the Covid vaccine (Moderna) at the pharmacy. We arrived 15 minutes early like the email asked. It's not not until we go inside and get to the front counter of the pharmacy that we are advised that you ran out of Moderna. How about a courtesy call or even a simple text message that you no longer have the vaccine available. It would have saved me from taking time off work and driving in rush hour traffic to make the appointment on time! This was very rude! This appointment was made on Tuesday. So I usually come in around 2 or 3 am when I get off of work because I love shopping while the store is empty. But whatever African (I'm not sure of his name) employee they have working at night profiles me so much and last night was the final straw. Usually the CVS is empty around this time but there were tons of transients in there last night (I'm assuming they must live in the RVs on Redondo) some shopping and some were obviously stealing. But this employee chooses to follow me around the store every time I come in. I catch him constantly watching me from other aisles and go out of his way to stand behind me during checkout but didn't do so while others were checking out because he was following me the whole damn time! I did not see him have the same energy for the lady in the huge trench coat stuffing items in it. It it's extremely frustrating when I go and spend over $150 on things I don't even truly need just to be disrespected by someone like this. Especially when the people he really should be watching out for are walking around the store freely doing whatever they want. I have mixed feelings about this place. On the positive side, it's served as my source for Sudafed with pseudoephedrine (best cold/flu symptom reliever, ever!). I simply walk in, show my ID to the pharmacist, I e-sign a disclaimer promising not to use it to make drugs, I pay the $15, and I'm out the door. There has never been a hassle here. The negative side to this place is the crowd it attracts. While there are some good people that come here, some interesting characters tend to come in here as well. There was a guy outside just talking nonsense, clearly high on something. He was hanging out by the handicap spaces, so I hope this guy doesn't mean any harm to any disabled person that parks here. I've seen it happen in Hollywood (and yes, I've intervened in that case), so I hope the management here is attentive to that. read more

I sent money through this location and it was picked up as reported by Moneygram, the only person who knew about it was the employees at this location. Awkward service. I was waiting in line for cashier and this guy comes to me really close, telling me I can just use the self service machine. And I said I am buying these under a deal, so, I don't know how to do it with the machine. And the guy tells me I can still do it with the self service machine. Okay, yeah, but, I am the only person waiting in line besides him. If my discount didn't go through, I have to go back when I can just wait for 30 seconds to checkout with a cashier. Later I noticed he went behind the counter, not even buying anything. I am seriously not sure what's up with that. It is super awkward. I have had two problems recently with the CVS pharmacy. The pharmacy manager is well aware of the problem and I've reported it to CVS corporate. I have a CVS app on my phone to refill prescriptions and the pharmacy is aware when a prescription will be covered by my insurance. When prescriptions are not covered, the phone app says too early for refill. CVS applies "coupons" to help people who have no insurance pay for prescriptions. Apparently, the coupons will allow the refills to go through and not apply insurance. Even though the printout says "rejected" by insurance, CVS refills the prescription and prices it at private pay. When I asked why the price went up, the pharmacy techs say my insurance prices went up. Then they also said it's a technical glitch with their computers. I think they can't read or are fraudulently trying to make me pay higher prices without my insurance applied. Be careful when using the CVS pharmacy and ask for the manager if you think they are lying to you. It's happened to me twice and they are fully aware of the problem. read more

Today I went to pick up two prescriptions. As I approached the counter where you pick up filled prescriptions, I said hello to the female worker and she did not respond. She gave me the feeling that she was annoyed that she had to work there. I told her I was there to pick up two prescriptions and gave her the name of each. It took her a while to find two bags. When she returned to the counter I wanted to be sure I was getting the correct medication and asked her again if the prescriptions were for the two medications I mentioned. The reason I asked is because I have experienced in the past getting medications that were not what I requested. This was her response " I have no idea. There is no way of me knowing. All I know is that they are eye drops." I peered over the counter and read the names of the medication stapled to the bags. I said "the names of the prescriptions are right there on the paper stapled to the bags." Her response" "oh you are absolutely right ". Scary that this is the level of service and knowledge at a pharmacy. read more

Probably the worst CVS I've been too. They never have your medication on time. They will tell you to wait an hour for your medication to be ready after waiting in line for 30 minutes and even then it is not ready. They accused me of over dosing my medication because my prescription was not yet called in by my psych. Most of the time they are snappy and appear to show no care for their clients time. read more

Never thought I would write a review for CVS, but I was so impressed by the level of service I received from Mallory the pharmacist this weekend that I had to post something. He truly went above and beyond to get me an emergency prescription filled. In addition he was courteous, prompt, and answered all my questions thoroughly. My boyfriend has also had really good service from the pharmacy staff at this location. We've changed over from Walgreens to this CVS as our home pharmacy location for the future. read more

Because when I come in approach the counter she always has a smile on her face and is cheerful whenever she greets you and it goes along way. Wow, I should have come here first. This is the worst pharmacy ever. I don't blame the employees. I blame the management. I need my antibiotic. It is on back order? You can't call around if you are out and see if another CVS has it? You can't call my doctor for an alternative? No, you did not. So I am just to sit here with a staff infection in both of my legs and do nothing? My doc ordered this on Monday. It is now Wednesday 10 p.m. and they are 'still out'. You should know that if I have to go to ER with sepsis I am going to consult with a lawyer. I am trying to call you but you are so overwhelmed you are not answering. I have tried more than once and over 1 hour on hold and nothing. This is proof that the management has not hired enough staff. You are open 24 hours. You are one of the most used pharmacies in this area, but you are the worst managed. I will never understand how your most profitable pharmacies are being forced to fail. I don't trust this store. The workers were really nice on the way out some black lady made an extremely poor comment about how I am as a woman. She was actually talking to the workers at the register. She was saying how I made this whole place look bad and the problem with me. Just because I said hi and I barely wanted to. March 12, 2018 At 11:30 am DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND IF YOU DO, DO NOT LET LORENIA WAIT ON YOU! Today was a great day so far until I came in this store. I came in with my Nina to buy stuff and found Easter gifts for the nurses who took care if me. I waited in line 10 mins. for the cashier to stop talking to the customer she had rang up about her vag. I was fine with that as I like the connection employees make with their customers. I get up to buy my items go to pay and the cashier named Lorenia was a total "B!TCH" to me! I do not know what was wrong with her but bad attitude bad customer service when I got to her. So she says fo I have a CVS card? I said I have a phone number I can put in. Since I am sight impaired I memorized my cell number, I put my number in the pad. Lorenia, says you have to press enter, I said I can't see so I do not know what to press. Then Lorenia in the nastiest most sarcastic tone says...YOU WERE ABLE TO PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN! I said the keys are the same on every pad and I memorized it, I did not owe her an explanation. Then Lorenia says press the green key....once again I said I am blind I can't see! Then Lorenia says it is at the bottom but she never attempted to assist me. Then Lorenia said push at the bottom of the screen, since I told her 3 times or more I can't see.....I started pressing all over the screen to find the GREEN button. I gave her a $20.00 then in her b!thcy nasty voice she says you gave me a 20! I knew what I gave her since that was what I had. I can't see numbers or letters due my eyes bleeding it damaged that part of my eyes, I had over 100 eye surgeries. I would suggest this person be sent to a class on how to deal with people who have disabilities and not treat such people with such a nastiness, we did ask to be disabled. The Supervisor not sure I think her name was Maria Elena she was wonderful, I went to speak to her about Lorenia and her unprofessional behavior. Maria Elena was very apologetic about her employee and did everything she could to comfort me. I will still visit this store. read more

I only come to this location to pick up my medications. The Pharmacy here is a hit and miss meaning it can go quick or it can be very slow. The wait time can be long what i dont get is they have about 6 people working back there and only one doing the prescriptions no matter how long the line gets. That is one area they def need to be improved. read more

Came here to drop off a prescription before lunch, and ended up being there for about 20 minutes, just to drop it off. Pharmacist was texting someone as he was taking my order, which annoyed me even more, and it took forever for them to help all of the customers. I don't mind busy, but don't text while you're helping...goodness. Parking lot is pretty decent and it's an easy to access location off the intersection. Do not waste your time at this pharmacy. I went in feeling sick, waiting in a long line to get some sudafed behind the counter, only for them to tell me I was in the wrong line. Seriously? The signage said to pick up at the pharmacy counter, maybe they should be more specific as to what counter I should go to. Went down the street to Savons and was helped in less than 5 mins.
