Zero accountability and customer service. After receiving notification that my photos were at this location, I arrived and the photos where no where to be found. I was asked to resend them so they could print them. After going through the trouble of placing the order through my phone (tedious work due to their system) I was told I will need to come back for the photos later instead. I explained the importance of having the photos at that moment and being that I made the drive due to the notification they sent me that my order was ready and it was not, my expectation was that they made things right. I came to this Walgreens because I needed to to take a passport photo, I thought it was going to take a couple of minutes to process, I was wrong... They told me to come back in an hour, and HOUR for two passport size photos. Anywhere else passport photos are done in minutes, but lesson learned. After going to Costco and the Costco business center in Hawthorne and seeing the multitudes of stupid people breaking the 6 foot social distancing rule, I decided to pop into Walgreens just for the heck of it. It's a small store but they did have some items I needed and they limit the quantity you can buy so people have a fair chance to get SOMETHING. What impressed me was how helpful the staff was and the fact they are taking safety precautions seriously for the safety of customers and staff (UNLIKE COSTCO!). I have been coming to this Walgreens for five years and never once have I ever not been able to pick up my pictures. I ordered pictures thru the app 5 4x6 . I ordered them they the app on 4/16 and went into the store 4/19 to pick them up. Only to find out that they had been sold.... SOLD meaning someone else picked up my pictureszzz... how was this possible???!!! At first they brushed it off as oh u picked them up already! "Well duh I clearly had not because I am here not to pick them up" which I'm some instances I understand some folks do try to pull a fast one! However this was not the case. I was excited when this store opened. It replaced a hideous knock-off perfumery. Walgreens tend to be cleaner and have great specials. I used to go to the Sav-On across the street, but when they were bought out by CVS, I started patronizing Walgreens more. The familiar layout of Walgreens makes it easy to find things here. The pharmacy is in the rear of the store, to the right. They have been helpful when I've needed them. (buying cold medicine, etc.) Heaven help you, though if you need the restroom. They will buzz you in, but the hallway is so cluttered with merchandise that you could get lost. The main check out can get a little busy. But, you can go to the makeup counter and pay for things there. Saves you lots of time. In the back left corner of the store, either on the endcap or in the 2nd to last row, they have the $1 section. I find all kinds of bargains there. like cotton swabs, dishwashing soap, crackers, etc. My ONLY complaint about this location is their stocking. There are often items listed on the shelf tag but are missing. For example, I buy distilled water. They have it listed but rarely have it in stock. It just teases me. I'm willing to pay more for the convenience of getting it at Walgreens over the grocery store. They have a huge selection of gift cards, too. That surprised me. If you are looking for gag gifts or cheesy holiday decorations, they've got whole rows dedicated to that crap. Love them! read more

I went to the Pharmacy today and the Manager Yasy Reyhani had an attitude all because I had a hard time hearing through her intercom. Then tells me she can't fill the prescription because they have to get more info from the Doctor which was fine but then she got irritate when I reminded her about HIPA because she wanted to leave my prescription on the counter next to the drive thru window and walk away instead of putting it away just as I was leaving. I said shouldn't you put it somewhere safe instead of leaving it laying around, what if it gets lost or falls off the counter. She said that wouldn't be her problem. So I took my buisness elsewhere. Do NOT have your medications filled at this pharmacy!!! I WAITED an ENTIRE WEEK to try and get a medication filled for my CHRONIC PAIN. Everytime I called them...the pharmacy clerks gave me a different answer. None of them cared. I'm transferring every medication to CVS. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. I came here around 1:30 AM with my dad, because he needed some antacids and pain relief medication. The CVS by our house wasn't open and this Walgreens is one of the only pharmacies open nearby. I wasn't expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised by this Walgreens. It had what my dad and I needed on short notice. The staff was friendly even at 1:30 AM which is something I really appreciated. The staff was very efficient and helped us find what we needed. The only negative is that the store could be slightly cleaner. There were random carts with junk lying in a few of the aisles and a few of the shelves had stuff everywhere. My son and I ordered a photo book online for same day pick up at this location. When we went to pick up the book, I was pretty shocked as to how helpful and friendly the young employees were. There were about 6 young male employees working throughout the store and every single one of them greeted customers throughout the store and offered assistance. Three of them went above and beyond assisting me with finishing the book. I must say that I hate that I was shocked by this but these days it's NOT often I see such great customer service. And the icing on the cake was that they were all young adults, some maybe teenagers, showing pride in their work and going above and beyond for their customers. This is my Favorite Wallgreens around my area. One evening I needed to purchase a few items. I ran in around 9:40pm. Crystal, Heather, to name a few, super friendly and helpful! Daniel, (manager) went above and beyond in helping find what I needed! Even though they were about to close. A week later, I called and Spoke with Carina, (manager) also, went above and beyond to help me. Professional and fun! Hopefully, 'Walgreens', (corporate, HR, etc.) recognize the value of the these employees. They make me/people happy and want to come back and shop for more. read more

The pharmacy is also filled with rude people accept for one lady this morning she was very kind and offered to help. I took my prescription on April 29th and just had the time to pick up my prescription today the 14th of May and they couldn't find my prescription nor my prescription order in their system. Yes, lines can be long at this place and it can be hard to get through on the phone at times. Whenever I'm here, I see how understaffed the poor pharmacists are- probably more so here than at any other walgreens I've been to. (Walgreens corporate, if you're reading this, give these guys more help!!! They deserve it) The reason for my 5 star review, however, is the amazing customer service I've received each and every time. Jose, Christine and Taishana are amazing and surprisingly friendly for all the crap they seem to have to deal with on the regular. I'm a regular customer and they know me by name. The other day, I ran out of refills on my inhaler( yes I know, my bad) and it was after my drs office had closed (also my bad), so rather than making me wait til the following day and risk having an asthma attack, Jose gave me an emergency fill and called my doctor the next day to notify them and add more refills. That happened once at a CVS (again, I know, I'm not the best at staying on top of my refill situation), and the pharmacy manager there refused to do anything until they could speak to my doctor. (But that's another review for another time). So anyway, yes, it may be frustrating to get through to anyone here, but once you do, it will be worth it.
