I was assisted by cast member Stephanie and she was absolutely wonderful. She was able to help me with my skin-scan (I now know that I need to up my hyaluronic acid application for my dry skin) as well as helping me exchange my online foundation purchase for another shade closer to my complexion needs. I must say that cast members like Stephanie are wonderful to interact with. She was warm, kind, and very helpful with my concerns regarding my (gasp!) aging skin. This Sephora location has always been organized, well stocked, and clean during my visits; today was no different than before. I appreciate that I can almost always spot a cast member cleaning/stocking the store at any given time. I also enjoy that this location never seems to be overrun and crowded, as my mobility issues make being in crowded stores a bit hard in me.

When I walked in, a Latina associate greeted me kindly, but she went on break shortly after. The only other staff present -- a Latino male associate with glasses -- was unhelpful and dismissive. I asked about semi-permanent dyes and a matching facial cream from the Bliss rose-scented line. His responses were vague: "I think we're out," or "I have no idea," with no effort to check or follow up. Meanwhile, another customer -- a Black woman who appeared lighter-skinned with straight hair -- was offered help without even asking. I was visibly shopping and asking questions, yet I received minimal engagement. The contrast in treatment was disappointing. I submitted a formal complaint, followed up via email, and was told on July 25 that the issue was being escalated to "field management." As of August 5, I've received no update, no resolution, and no goodwill gesture -- despite spending over $200 on that visit. I've had great experiences at Sally Beauty's Irvine location, which makes this store's handling even more frustrating. If this is resolved appropriately, I'll update this review. But right now, I cannot recommend this location based on the lack of accountability.

I did some treatments there because I was told they were covered by insurance. I would ck and verify this w them more than once. Pay the deductible and afterwards everything is covered with just a copay. I did 4 treatments. In good faith I paid out of pocket due to the deductible. None of my appointments were even submitted to insurance until I noticed another service provider used my deductible. I then asked them to submit expecting to receive a big refund back at this point. They submitted, and nothing was covered. I would never ever have spent this much money if it wasn't covered by insurance. Had they submitted these claims on time I would have at least known from the beginning it wasn't covered and would have not gotten the other 3 appointments. While the amount of money lost is very disappointing and happened during a time money was tight it was also disappointing that I was the only one that cared to fix this. After two years of dealing with insurance and trying to get my money back I've given up. Not once did the business help in any way to get to the bottom of this. Unfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth and felt scammy. If you decide to go to them NEVER pay upfront something that will be covered by insurance.
