I usually come to CVS Pharmacy for my vitamins and supplements, but lately I've noticed the prices have definitely gone up. You really have to rely on those savings coupons and discounts just to make it make sense when shopping here. I even had to go elsewhere to purchase my melatonin because it's no longer reasonably priced at this location. I'm hoping CVS can get back to being more affordable for the local community, as it used to be a go-to spot for supplements and prescriptions. On a positive note, the staff here are always nice and welcoming, and the pharmacist is very helpful when it comes to refills and even suggesting alternative options. We went in for our Covid booster shot. Normally I don't think good or bad about this store. But today was different. As the people before me were getting their booster shot a masked larger blonde female employee walked past all of us and in a loud demanding voice said don't do it. That was an uncalled for remark. I have to say I was a little concern about this place when I left after my purchase. I came in to pick up some floss and some Kleenex. As I walked in the first thing I noticed how un kept were a significant amount of items. Some were on the floor and other knocked about the shelves, but the worst was the condition of the carpets. It had a number of stains and worn down on some areas. This pharmacy never has my prescription for days after doc has ordered or not at all. There is definitely something going on here. @DHS and @ pharmaceutical board of pharmacies need a deep dive. DOJ take a good look they are stealing meds and insurance and co-pays just go stand in line and listen to the b.s. they tell every patient as to why they can't fill the med or in its entirety. This is malpractice! If I can't breathe and my doctor orders an inhaler they don't have till Tuesday yet would not allow us to use another CVS! I am not sure who I talked to on the phone but this person was amazing. Rite Aid messed up the transfer of my prescription and the guy from CVS figured it out and was able to get it refilled. I haven't picked it up yet but he said it will be ready in 2 hours. I have had so many issues with the Rite Aid pharmacy, it is refreshing to have things work out for me. Thank you CVS! read more

I've come here probably a total of 5 times and have never used the pharmacy. There's ALWAYS a wait for checkout. As in at least 4 people in line w/ only 1 cashier open. I don't know why but that has been my experience, so if you come here, be prepared to queue up. They have a more extensive makeup & beauty section than the Rite Aid across the street so I like to come here to look for hair repair masques & Milani makeup. Speaking of that though, they run out of a lot of popular colors and products and I find that they take a long time to re-stock. This is by far the worst pharmacy I've experienced. They are clearly mis-managed and ill-trained. I call to re-fill a medication I get every 3 months. I was then told my co-payment was double what it usually is. I asked "why" and the young lady goes on to tell me this long BS story about the new year and rates going up (I am well aware of what MY insurance covers and my co payments). I then tell her, that I doubt my co-payments for my meds have doubled and if she can re-check. This doesn't add up. She barely even lets me complete my sentence and tells me ""yea, I don't know but that's your co-payment". I then tell her that makes no sense and to give me my prescription number so that I can transfer my next re-fill to a company who ACTUALLY knows that they are talking about. She then tells me how whoever I transfer too needs to call them, again speaking before she actually researches her answers. My doctors office can send my prescription wherever I want. They don't need to call this place. Anyway, I then go in to pick up my prescription to be told I only owe what my normal co-payment is. I ask the lady who is cashing me out, "what? The girl on the phone argued me down about how my prescription was doubled". She looks at my info and says "no, it's the normal amount". I ask her to look at the name of the girl who took my re-fill order and I'd like to complain against her. She tells me "we can't see who took your order" Total lie. I then tell her how she needs to coach her staff. Anyone working in a pharmacy should know how important it is to give accurate information to patients. She responds with "well mostly everyone here is new and blah blah" taking ZERO accountability for her team or even offering to speak with the manager and give her my feedback. What if someone was told they're RX was doubled in price and they couldn't afford it so instead they opted to not pick up their meds that they really needed? This could be detrimental yet everyone I had contact with here brushed me off and had a "meh" tone. Not ok. I will never visit this pharmacy again. They're irresponsible and I'll take my money to a place that can give accurate information. read more

I will never use this pharmacy again, people that work here are a joke. I waited 15 minutes for the lady behind the counter to run my insurance card for my medication after checking for 15 minutes she told me that they don't accept my HMO card. Wouldn't you already know this information already? While, I was waiting, a customer called and and the heavy set lady behind the counter answered and then hung up. We moved back to this area and started going to CVS and they are just awesome! They are always friendly, make the effort know who we are and always take time to say hi. I appreciate their effort to fill complicated prescriptions and I think they are efficient most of the time. Once in a while things get mixed up but I've never had a pharmacy not have that issue. A lot of times it's the physician's office who is making the mistakes. I am perplexed as to why this CVS doesn't have more stars. As I look through the reviews I note that many of them are several years old. Yelp should have a better rating system and not let really old reviews affect current scores. I am sure most of the employees who earned a bad mark aren't even there anymore.. Also the fact there are any homeless people outside is not CVS's fault. I mean come on, what is a business to do if it is located by a homeless hangout? It is discouraging to have to deal with, but I feel sorry for the employees they have to be subjected to it I highly recommend this pharmacy. This place takes forever. Very slow customer service and careless pharmacists. I actually got 1/2 a pill. How hard is it to fill a prescription and make sure all the pills are whole. I went to this CVS because they sent my medication here when they weren't supposed to but anyways... This is the WORST pharmacy ever!!!! Girl that I went up to first was clueless! She didn't know what she was doing then she told me to go to another window to talk to someone else. Then I told this lady what was going on and she asked for my paperwork and I told her your employee never gave it back to me. My first order was ready and I had to pay for it but my second order wasn't but I told her Can I pay for the one that's ready, then she told me no because the other one wasn't ready. I was like what the heck that one is ready and that's the medicine I need to take now and I have to wait for it! So I walked around for 15 mins, I come back told the same girl my first and name then some other comes throws my medication at her! Then I got a consultation and that was TERRIBLE!!!!! This pharmacist was basically reading what it said on the paper instead actually going into details with me about it. Just the WORST consultation ever!!! Then another thing I noticed is that if you aren't from their race they are completely rude and not helpful with you! Because I noticed how they were with their own race, I literally saw a customer just walk talk to everyone even calling the pharmacist and EVERY ONE paid attention to him!!!!! I live just a block from this CVS Pharmacy and was going there to get perscriptions filled for me and my family for the last year or so. Over that period of time I've constantly endured my perscriptions not being ready when promised and find myself strolling the isles sometimes for 45 minutes waiting for my meds. Today, on my way home from the hospital I dropped off a important perscrition. I ensured all of the paperwork was in order and was told by the pharmacy tech that it would be ready in 15min. I returned 25min later only to find out they hadn't even started on filling the perscription and the same tech told me it would be 20-30min before they could get to mine. I reminded her that she told me 15min when I dropped it off and she denyed saying that to the point that she was accusing me of being a liar. I told her (in front of the pharmacist) that I would like to cancel the perscription. The pharmacy tech handed me the paperwork without any hasitation so I told her that thats the last perscription they would fill for my family. She then asked me for all of our names so she could delete us out of they system. I couldn't beleive that anyone could be that rude especially in todays business environment. Customer service is no longer what it used to be. I'll take my business to a neighborhood independant pharmacy where maybe I'll be treated fairly. read more
