A/C units all around the store. Lots of promotional items. It's pretty busy inside the store. Even with the ridiculous red tape of insurance companies, state regulations on "controlled substance" medications and backorder issues with suppliers, Dan and Valentina (and their awesome pharmacy staff at Walmart Santee, especially Destany and Antwanet (apologies if misspelled!)) continue to keep the bar high to get prescriptions filled quickly and without hassle whenever possible. I'm so grateful for the team at this pharmacy for making what could be very frustrating go as smoothly as possible for us (the customers), despite the circumstances that always seem to challenge that goal. Just the worst. Always had high standards for Costco since I've shopped there my whole life…read more(including optometry and rip photo dept) but my first experience here was the worst. The gals who answer the phone are always disgruntled, rude and literally have no customer service skills. I was not alerted or called by Costco to let me know there was an issue with my prescription, I did not receive a text or email for days. When I finally called and asked about this they mentioned there was an issue and I had to call my DR but that I wasn't enrolled in texts/email notifications and that's why I haven't been contacted. Cool? Flash forward after a week of back and forths I left a voicemail, no updates and when I finally called employee Margaret (whom I talked to before) mentioned that it was ready. I asked how come I wasn't contacted and again that I wasn't signed up for texts. So that means no one gets a phone call?? Not standard for any pharmacy, but sounds like Costco just doesn't care. Anyway- employees seem to hate working here which is fine, but don't rub it off on the customers. Hope the employees find greener pastures so that we can have a pleasant Costco experience one day....
