Fuck the service center at this place !!! Do not get your oil changed there! I decided to do my own oil change seeing as how they are charging $82 dollars now versus the $ $50-$60 they use to charge. Santee Walmart was the last people to do an oil change on my car and did not replace four of the screws for my splash pan which explains the noise I've been hearing. This is not the first time I've I had issues with them. My recommendation do your own oil change if possible or pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Do better Walmart ! I usually like this store and come here quite a bit from time to time especially after parkway plaza closed down. Today I had the worst experience I've had with Walmart and it had everything to do with "Elizabeth" by the electronics department. I went in to purchase a prepaid phone where I was met with the disgusting attitude of Elizabeth, she stated that she did have the phone but can't sell me it because it's going on sale on Black Friday which is over a week away, the phone was regular price and I asked for one but she wouldn't budge, they have the phone on the website and even have next time pickup which she claimed she'd cancel if we submitted. Paul was professional and would have gotten a 5 stars cause verified my name, order /order #, out of stock item then placed items where I requested while delivering items to my vehicle, but could not answer why I was charged higher price of $5.22 per item vice the 4 pack price of 4 for $19.98 what I ordered, all he could say is he's not sure how or why the shopper did what the switch. I have no idea what is going on at Walgreens pharmacy in Santee, California. I asked over a week ago for a renewal of the prescription. Spiro.nolactone. I am completely out of it.... And even with bugging them, I will have to go a couple days without it because they don't have their act together. the last prescription I filled with them was for losartan, which is a blood thinner. I don't want to have a blood clot and die because of their stupidity. The pharmacist told me that the reason I was without it for several days, which is very dangerous was because they just had so many customers needing it.... Well, guess what we're called baby boomers and we are a large population. And they already have all of our scripts there. Why aren't they ordering enough? The Santee tire center is very helpful. The staff at the welcome center and back are very polite very attentive and I'm glad I made a scheduled appointment to have tires installed on my new Prius the Douglas tires or a wonderful fit and have a beautiful soft ride exactly what I was looking for, the secret to go early before the crowd arrives. I made my appointment for 7 AM. I arrived at 6:45 and waited. I was out of the store within an hour. The staff was very helpful and the bathroom was very clean. The overnight staff was still cleaning up and the store still was very easy to walk through. Thank you for having such a great staff store. Very good management at the store, I live in the college area and I prefer to go to either Grossmont store or the food store near La Mesa near the Ford agency or your store since you have the tire department and I'm able to get very good pricing on oil changes for all my vehicles thank you again for having such a great team in Santee read more

When I left this store I had been waiting 43 minutes for a person to come and unlock a window to get my neighbors dog some flea and tick medicine called Petarmorplus. I had asked 4 people who work there for help and all of them had told me that someone was on their way. Seeing as how the store was closing soon I knew it was going to be too late to make it to another establishment (Target) before it closed so I left. I also left my cart full of other items I was going to purchase in the aisle. I also wrote a note on an old receipt from a thrift store. I have been shopping at this store for 24 and a half years and have never been so thoroughly neglected. I asked 4 people and every single one of them told me they had called for someone to help me and they were on their way with the key to open the shelf. I left in tears and am also still crying. I have no idea what I did to them to treat me so badly, was I wearing the wrong clothes? Was it because I have a dress on with tennis shoes? Did I have a booger hanging out? What!? What did I do? I left there anyway and I had to sneak in the exit door as somebody left at the Target store because they were closing and had all of the entry doors blocked off! By the way, the Target store was very nice and just let me do that. I feel really bad about that and embarrassed. I'm sorry, but I really needed that item. Okay, so this is my review of the Walmart in Santee. I hope this helps the next person shopping in their Pet department. They dont even bother to show up, much less care about your pets health at all. follow-up from my post yesterdays that the service department sucks. I was one of the first in line with an estimate time of 45 minutes to wait yet everyone after me left far sooner than did. Oil and all fluids were not tapped off but rather way below any service I have ever had. Upon I had specifically ask them to check the wiper fluid which was empty before and you could barely see any in the container I specifically asked that they check my "Tires" since the "Air Tire Pressure Low" light kept coming on even though I had pressure checkEd and filled them several times but it kept coming on again a few days later... so something must be wrong with one of the tires. "Yes we will definitely check those for you." Well most reputable mechanics would go with that information and say, "that doesn't sound right if it's been checked and filled and then low right away ... hey good thought, that sounds like somethings going on with the tires ... after all, pressure keeps going down. Dah! The gentleman behind the cashier was pleasant so why they got one star ...and another women trying to help behind the back of an annoying, grumpy, unable to listen to anyone else in a conversation .... manager, I believe was Deborah. I had asked for a refund simple due to the inconvenience of having to take my now flat tire off of my car the morning after I got home, (mind you I only live 5 minutes away from the store) and put my donut wheel on and drive back to their service department to deal with this, no wiper fluid and plow oil. 'Mame we can not do that we need your key to recheck it. I'm like no I'm done with you guys touching my car. Someone says, 'Well, you might have run over something on your way home. Really? I said. Let's review the stats. I came in highlighting that my car was signaling that the air pressure was continually dropping. I ask you to check the tires. You say they are fine when I asked before I left if they checked the tires ... you say yes and it's flat once I get home. You didn't fix anything. You said it was fine. It went flat as the car was telling everyone it was not feeling well, yet you guys say ... "I" must have run over something on our way home. Really, I thought ... they can't see how dumb that sounds. When you ask us to check the air pressure, Deborah says, we only check that. If you want us to check or fix the tire you have to ask us to do that mame. I'll check the video to see if the mechanics checked the Air pressure, but we also need you recheck your car. I once again stated that I didn't ask them to check the air pressure ... I ask them to check all of my tires since I keep getting an air pressure signal ... therefore your job was to check my tires. If I knew which one it was I would have had you fixed when I checked Apparently I mistook you guess as mechanics. BUT NOW I know which one it is ... it's the flat one is in the back of my car. You'll notice it cause, again ... it's flat! Mame you would had to ask us to fit it. If not we just check the air pressure like you ask but I can not refund you until you let us look at your car, so I relent. Cause stupid is as stupid does. So we go to the car the mechanic checks the oil, it was higher but not by much, so I say okay. And mame there is windshield wiper fluid ..... yeah .... Yeah as he practically has it eye right on top of the opening. Yep I see so ... but we probably could have added more. Mind you I have a photo on my phone as they were all peering under my hood trying to be the first on to spot It. Then they saw my tire and that no other fluids had be address even though I pay for all fluids to be addressed. Well I see they should have done better so we will definitely refund your money ... which I appreciated ... finally! But she still had to remind me that they don't fix tires unless you ask them. Hell will freeze over before ai ask them that again. TIP NUMBER ONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE WALMART ... 1) Listening first before responding goes a long way. Even if you just have to fake it. 2) If it turns out you were wrong ... and you admit it with a nice apology it makes eating crow a lot more appetizing. 3) You ware more likely to get returning business which apparently Walmart has not learned. Placed an order for some tires online. Set up an appointment for the next day. A few hours later I get an email saying they don't have 3 of the 4 tires I paid for. Fine. I tried reaching out to see if there was a different brand I could switch it out for. Online customer service. I ended up speaking to someone in India who had no idea what I was saying and responded with non sense. I showed up in person at the scheduled appointment to see if I could get it done.... The Caucasian man w/tattoos on his forearm (I didn't get his name! Sorry!) who helped me was great. (That's why they got the extra star) he was running around trying to find me tires but he wasn't able to locate any. Finally I just asked for a refund. He had to call the manager. This review is about Deborah the manager at the tire place. She came out with an attitude because her lunch was disturbed. "Fe fi fo fum" Her look and attitude has no business in customer service let alone working on cars. It was very apparent her employees don't like her and she doesn't like her employees. She was trying to get out of giving me a refund and telling me to just go through the site. Why? I'm right in front of you? Yeah but I want to do it the "right way"... she said. "Download the app... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET A MEDICARE PRESCRIPTION FILLED AT THE SANTEE WALMART PHARMACY!!! I ordered 3 refills through the Santee Walmart app. When I went to pick them up, I told them I just retired and I now have Medicare. I attempted to give them my card so they could update my profile. They first told me that I should do it through the app since that is how I ordered my refills. I asked the Pharmacist for assistance. He told me that he doesn't know how to use it and never has to order prescriptions so he saw no need???!!! Shouldn't the pharmacist be able to assist a customer to enter information on the pharmacy portion of their app???!!!BAFFLING! I'm 66 and I have to figure it out to make THEIR job EASIER!!!??? Instead, they charged me $43.02. They, as they TOLD ME, "We couldn't figure out how to put my new insurance information into their system." I then went to Vons to transfer my prescriptions so this wouldn't happen AGAIN. I called Santee Walmart Pharmacy to let them know that they overcharged me by $43.02. I was told that they could only refund $25.40 (ONLY ONE OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS). I had to personally return to the store for the full refund?!!! I returned to the Santee Walmart with my receipt. I presented it to the man at the counter and explained I was there for my FULL REFUND. He told me that he had to confer with yet ANOTHER employee who knew nothing of my situation. They presented an ENVELOPE with cash in it (as refunds GO???‍) and said it was my full refund! When I got home, the envelope contained $25.40 in CASH.....the amount I would have received as a CREDIT TO MY BANK CARD HAD I NOT ATTEMPTED TO GET THE FULL REFUND IN PERSON!!! I was checking out in the garden department today, the soil bags I grabbed rang up at $7.47, I told the cashier the signs out in the garden area show $3.98. She asked the young man associate to go check he came back and said it says $7.47 next to the pallet. That was a lie, I told the cashier that's not true. She tells me he works in this department so he knows. I left to show the associate, that 2 pallets show $3.98. Next to it shows a pallet $14, then next pallet $8, then another pallet for $7.47 (which he said was next to $3.98 a lie) Even after that the cashier price marked one soil, and I gave back one. She still believed the kid even after I showed him he was wrong. All I know is a line formed out the door bc she didn't want to believe me over her coworker. Gotta say how upset I was with Wallace and the other two female employees for not being very helpful. I came in hoping to find an item which I had the barcode for, just need them to get a scanner. When I approached this female employee she was about to leave her shift, so she didn't want to help me from the first place anyway. I gave her the barcode, while Mr Wallace took her scanner right in front of me, so she had to reluctantly using her phone app to scan and nothing came up, even though I just went to the shelves and pulled out 15 of that items, then she even argued with me that she had the company phone so it should work. Alright I will not tell her how to do her job then. So I proceeded to find Wallace from fabrics helping another customer, hoping I could grab his scanner, still the same result, I asked him could he checked another stores for me, and he stated so sternly that "we was not able to check any other locations except ours". Then again I will not ask "who train you?" And "why did I know more than you eventhough I didn't work here". So another I will not tell them how to do their jobs because they won't listen. Obviously we need to figure out why your system not working and the item was being displayed on the floor. So he came back to his other coworker whom I believe was a teamlead, she told him checked his phone like she did give a flying. Mr Wallace did one more time on his phone app, nothing came out, so what did he do, he said "sorry I couldn't help you man" then he walked away. Wow, Walmart. This is how you train your employees? If he/she didn't know the answer, find someone who can, I meant what the Eff? What happened to the steps of confirm, config and investigate? I was greeted when I walked in my two cashiers and when strolling through the men's department I was approached by a nice gentleman (didn't catch his name) and asked if I needed help with anything. I told him what I was needing help with and he sincerely apologized for not being able to properly help me. Also apologized that the store is out of stock on tons of stuff. This Walmart in Santee also does not play any music and the store is usually empty of Customers, I can tell you why that is. I would like to update this review now 4 yrs after Covid, Walmart is the ONLY store that has not resumed PRE-Covid hours, holding to still close their stores by 11pm. I understand that they don't need to go back to 24/7 operations however, for those of us who work evenings, it's difficult to get to Walmart before it closed at 11 pm. Let's not forget that Walmart made a ton of money during Covid and since,, now their prices are out of control and they don't even match prices like they used to with other stores so they've really gone down in quality but less customer care like being open longer hours. when I do go in the stores now before they close all you run into all these workers putting things on the shelves like right there with the customers like we're in their way during Covid that was understandable because they were trying to help get things on the shelf for us to buy but now Walmart just making more money by having them do it while the customers are there again that's not good customer service so I am not happy with Walmart to be true I'm a Walmart plus customer and I spend over $500 a week in Walmart so I feel I have a right to speak and give my opinion.
