This place is amazing! They actually care about their customers, they get to know you as a person not just a number. If you are someone who takes medication constantly, and you don't come in on time. They will be calling you to make sure you're okay. I choose to drive from Chula Vista to Alpine for the amazing customer service they give. I was convinced by the owner Christine to move over to them from CVS bc with me being disabled picking up meds can be hard. I was very excited for this delivery feature and a small pharmacy. I had had a bad experience with them one time before but I thought I would try again. I want to say I find most of the staff friendly and wanting to help. And they do answer the phones better than most pharmacies. However, Christine is continually a problem making excuses for all the things she promised me and she even raised her voice with me on the phone today after she called me not liking that I asked the staff if they could have better communication as I was promised a phone call 3 times and did not receive it. This would not have been a problem at all today if I got my meds delivered as promised originally, but the delivery guy has serious issues. Bc some days I can't even get out of bed due to my disability, if I have to pick it up I need good communication. The delivery is where things are kind of beyond belief. The delivery person the first time called me totally erratic 5 times trying to find my place. He literally couldn't listen and just kept yelling at me. I actually had to call the pharmacy and ask them to have him stop calling. Christine delivered my meds that day and basically said "well it is very hard to find"....that is not true but to not apologize for the situation and try to make it about me or where I was located that's not ok. The next time when I went in to pick meds up bc I didn't want to go to though that delivery nonsense again, Christine said they could deliver but could I get my meds so they fell on the same date bc she pays $10 for every delivery. Two of my meds that's not possible but putting me in the situation of feeling like now my meds not being on the same dates were a problem for delivery. She cannot take any accountability and as a business owner I find her very unprofessional and on the defense instead of trouble shooting for the customer. To be clear I would absolutely get the meds on the same date if I had any control of it, it would make my life easier. Her staff on the other hand are more professional than she is but some seem to have the same issue taking accountability. Christine convinces me to try delivery again and this time the driver yells at me bc my service dog who was in a fenced in area and doing nothing no barking just standing there was keeping him from getting to my door. My door was wide open so I could hear him come and he was in no way inconvenienced or harassed by my dog. I didn't even call them to complain bc I knew I was done with the delivery with them. Christine called me today and said she delivers my medications so it shouldn't be a problem. I said no the other guy delivered them and yelled at me again to which she says he has been bitten by dogs. So first she doesn't even know he delivered to me again (bc she thought she delivered my meds) and then another excuse for him being beyond rude or unprofessional for a SECOND TIME. When a company (owner) can't do what they say they can do and then yell at the customer and argue and excuse all valid points that's a big problem. The 1 rating is for the owner and the delivery person. Seriously no less than 5 times making a person feel bad about their situation is crazy to me, but continually excusing the drivers behavior bc of his age, guess my disability does not matter. Hey Christine the professional answer when these things are going wrong is how can we help or make your experience better, but from my observation that will never happen with you bc you are looking for a fight. read more

I am so happy I switched to DMK. I have been using Rite Aid my entire life, and for the past few years they have been so rude, and getting my medication was always a hassle. Everyone at DMK is kind and patient, my meds are never out of stock like they always were at rite aid, and it's such a cute little place. She knows all their products and makes sure I get everything on time. Alex delivers for them and they have no problem delivering to me all the way near downtown San Diego!! Finding a pharmacy that has awesome customer service with a smile hasn't been easy. This pharmacy is like an old fashioned personal pharmacy that works with you and delivers if you need it. If they don't have the medication in tock, they orer it and the prescription is ready the next day. They even take care of the refills and call to let me know when they re ready for pick up. This Pharmacy is hands down the best!! I transferred you medications here about a month ago from Walgreens and I'm soo happy I did!! The service is like no other.
