Obviously they were closing , it was about 6:05 at this time but the pharmacist filled my prescription , I paid and off I went . Just want to say thanks so much as I had been feeling like crap for days and we live an hour from town ! Was able to take a pill and start feeling better and not waste gas to come back the next day ! Also they've made more than one quantity error in filling my written prescriptions (maybe they can't read my doctor's chicken scratch? I don't know.) The biggest problem here is that this CVS is seriously understaffed - you can tell they are working as hard as they can, but the turnaround time on prescriptions is SLOW and you often have to wait in line to pick-up prescriptions because there's only one person working the counter.

The day after that, they still did not have it. Then they sent the script to another CVS on Broadway in El Cajon. When I went to that CVS, they told me they received my script from the Alpine CVS, but they sold the medication to someone else. The CVS on Broadway told me they could send it to the CVS on Jamacha. I went to that CVS. They told me, "no, it was sent to the CVS on Jamacha inside the Target in RSD. I finally obtained this script, after 5 days and 4 hours taken out of my Saturday afternoon. I don't know what is going on with CVS in general, but their customer service is terrible and they obviously do not give a damn about women's health. The meds I take are related to women's health.

It appeared that the wide variety of selection was set for libations rather than other items in the store. For the footprint of the store it seems that there just wasn't enough room in house to accommodate that. Like I said, because the libations took up a solid two aisles. That meant that the rest of the aisles were left to have items fight for counter space. Unfortunately on both of my visits here I did not find what I needed and had to venture elsewhere to get those items. Customer service wasn't too bad here, they were attentive to the needs of those in the store, but at some points they appeared to be bothered to help you at first. It is what it is. I view this more as a community convenience store than a Rite Aid. I suppose if you live in the neighborhood it is better than trekking to wherever to get a quick item.

On my most recent visit, I checked in around 2:40 PM and was informed that they wouldn't be able to accommodate me that day. Unfortunately, when I arrived there, the line was even longer, and they were unable to fit me in as well. Despite that experience, I still prefer getting my labs done at this Walgreens because the process is usually quick and efficient. Check-in is simple, and when timing works out, I'm generally in and out without any hassle. A few helpful tips for first-time visitors..... -Bring your photo ID and insurance card. -If you have a lab requisition from your physician, bring it with you. -If your provider submitted the order electronically, they can typically pull it up in their system. I've never had any issues receiving my lab results, and the staff have always been professional and courteous. My only suggestion would be to consider accommodating patients who have already checked in before the cutoff time, especially those who arrive before the 15-minute mark leading up to closing. It can be disappointing to complete the check-in process only to learn there isn't enough time to be seen. Overall, this is still one of my preferred locations for lab work because of the friendly staff and efficient service.
