My family has being going to the Regional St CVS for over 7 years, and recently year, new CVS opened up at Bernal Ave in Pleasanton. We ended up splitting our prescription pickup into these two locations. Today I wend to Regional St CVS and was told that my insurance was no longer accepted by CVS (I was puzzled since my insurance is the largest company in CA) by the two attending pharmacist (around 10:30am). They told me that I either pay the full price (250$) or need to go to Walgreen or other place. I then went to Bernal Ave CVS to confirm for my wife's prescription, the pharmacist was puzzled too and entered my insurance new card in the system to check. She said that the insurance went through and pulled my prescription over and filled it. Thereafter, I called the Regional St CVC and told them the situation, the person on the phone said they are sorry and that they checked the name list which indicated that my insurance is no longer accepted, and admitted that they did not actually input in the system to verify. This is really idiotic of them and unacceptable not only in customer servicing (wasted my time), but the two could have lost my business for CVS. If I did not check with the Bernal Ave CVS, I would have gone to Walgreen for my whole families' prescriptions ..... It is also frustrating where you can not find path in CVS web where I am able to lodge a complaint. if I am the manger of the store, I would reprimand the two for incompetence. read more

We accidentally visited the CVS store on 7201 Regional St in Dublin couple weeks ago and really regret that we did it! We grabbed 4-5 items very quickly, it took about 5 minutes. During that very short time workers "friendly reminded" us several times that the store is going to be closed soon. When we went to checkout a cashier, a blond woman in her middle 50s (Christine) kept saying with annoyance: "next time come earlier". In addition to that she furiously threw our items trying to end the transaction extremely quickly (in fact if that attempt was successful it could save not more than one second). Of course, instead of finishing the transaction earlier she did several mistakes and scanned one item two times. As a result she canceled the transaction and started everything from the beginning. During all that extremely unpleasant time we spent on checkout she demonstrated her irritation by all ways. We were very frustrated and upset. No needs to say that we are going to avoid that store in a future since obviously that workers treat customers unacceptable rudely and manager(s) just don't care (according to store's rating near shameful 1). read more

Terrible pharmacy service. I was moved from one window to another three times. The prescription was submitted at 12:00pm. I came back to pick it up at 6:15pm and after the back and forth between windows and 1/2 hour later, I was able to pick up half the prescription and was told to come back the next day to pick up the rest. read more

I love CVS. Something about 9.99 for my fav vodka always makes me happy. Plus this place is HUUUGE. I literalyl mean huge. Granted i usually come in here at odd hours but I always feel like I am the only person in here. I've never had to wait in a long line, and the longest I;ve waited at the pharmacy is maybe 10 min while they got my script out of the back. Yes granted the employees look like they'd rather be anywhere but there but for cheap booze this is a great place to go. read more

GO TO WALMART!! Having no RX coverage, I pay for my own prescriptions. I called the Dublin store for a price quote after calling Walmart for their price. Diclofenac 75 mg, qty 100 WALMART $6.78......CVS $68.00. Are you kidding me? How can they take such advantage of their customers? I'm certain Walmart is still making a profit off their $6.78. I will now drive the extra 5 minutes to Walmart vs.1 minute to your store. You are one of the reasons our country is in the mess we are in. I realize Walmart is huge and I would of been willing to pay even double the price. After a little research I see that you have been doing this for years even AFTER being "caught". "At CVS the cost of generic Prozac is marked up at least 56 times what the drug cost wholesale. It is a 5,594% markup. And in our survey of more than a dozen popular generic drugs, CVS leads the pack with average markups of 1,436%" KARMA will come your way, I have no doubt. Longs should have never sold to CVS. Somehow I felt Longs had charm, but once CVS took over it went all downhill. THis place feels like it's twice the size it should be because it feels so devoid of help...or customers...they also have a watch repair that has never been open when I've tried to use them. read more

I am amazed that this store is still open. While the young girl cashier is usually somewhat friendly, the rest of the employees are dour, unhappy, and very unfriendly. The manager walks around the store on a mission, and you have to walk in front of him to stop him so you can ask your question. He answers it without the slightest attempt to be nice. There is no smiling here: I think there may be a company policy against smiling, and being helpful. The prices are way too high here, and unless it was an item I could not find at Target or Walmart or Walgreens, and I absolutely had to have it that day, I would not spend any money here. I hate the way this store is set up: long aisles and really boring displays. Sometimes their coupon machine is out of paper, and no one really cares. If I could give no stars I would! I've lived here in Dublin for so long and shopped here for years!! Recently bought formula for my baby here. When I got home, one of the bottles had been open already and the formula was rotten! My whole house smelled horrific!! I had no problem returning the items since I had the receipt for all 3 but I never received an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" or a "sorry about that". It was the MANAGER that performed my return. I was shocked that he didn't say or offer an apology or show any concern at all that he sold me the rotten formula (so rotten that the formula was green and moldy!). After my return I said to the manager that as a manager I would think he would have applied better customer service...his response "I made the return didn't I?" in a attitude in his tone. Very rude in my eyes!!!! I did nothing for him to act that way! I mean he sold ME rotten formula and acted like it happens all the time! He lost a customer that day for sure. Ann(e) at the Pharmacy was extremely patient and kind in dealing with me, a first-time customer. I'm sick, I'm grouchy, she has to tell me everything twice, and she's on top of things like a some CVS Super Mom. She winds up saving my family well over $100 on the transaction and was in complete control of the paperwork, the whole time. I will not be going anywhere else. And it's true about the parking. This pharmacy is poorly managed. The pharmacist is not there often enough to sign off on prescriptions. I only use them 4-5 times a year, and every time it takes 3 return trips to pick up my prescriptions. The excuse is always 'the pharmacist hasn't signed off', or 'pharmacist is at lunch'. The suggested return time is not usually correct, hence many returns. The store is fine and well managed. read more

Well their hours say open til 9 and they were closed at 7:30 so I can't get the prescriptions that are only available until today! I have a long commute and can't get there earlier! WOW. CVS. It's unfortunate that they are located everywhere but have such poor customer service. I have been to the pharmacy 4 times now and left in tears because of their misinformation about what my insurance does/does not cover. I paid for the best insurance my company offers and they keep turning me away saying they don't show the coverage. Now I'm on hold with customer service for 1:07 hours --- this is UNREAL. All I need are receipts from the 3 times they said I picked up prescriptions which I did NOT. One vial of insulin and 3 packs of test strips cost me $486 dollars. This is what people have to do just to stay alive, there is no way people can afford Rx like this. This crap doesn't even relieve stress, or help me sleep or relax me --- it supplements what my pancreas will not. I need some help, compassion yet I feel like trying to get into Studio 54 and the door man keeps saying "you're not on the list". Absolute worst pharmacy EVER! I have been going to this pharmacy for the past 2 years just because it is the closest to where I live but I will now drive further just to avoid this place. The people at the pharmacy are SUPER SLOW and tell you wrong information. They told me it would be about a 15 minute wait, so I waited..and waited....and after 30 minutes, when I asked if it was ready, they told me that they don't have it in stock and I would have to come back the next day. This is just one example of the many horrible experiences I've had there. I will be transferring my RXs elsewhere. read more

On several occasions I have had nothing but trouble at this pharmacy. There is either no one to assist on the floor, so you have to get someone at the front to get someone. The pharmacy is always packed with people dropping off, picking up, and trying to pay. Staffing is desperately needed in the store everywhere. On another two separate occasions, I went for a specifically advertised item. I was told they were sold out weeks ago on each item. How do you advertise and not be sure that you have it on hand? On another occasion I had asked the pharmacy where I could find a specific vitamin, since I could not find it on the shelf. Not one person every heard of it, but then again not one person wrote it down to possibly look into it - absolutely no help whatsoever. The nicest, most helpful, friendly people work here. I walked in looking for something completely random towards the end of the day and was asked if I needed help in less than a minute. They carried not one but three options of the non drowsy Dramamine I wanted that nearby supermarkets didn't offer. Wasn't busy, was quiet and in and out.
