I was there picking up some prescriptions for the kiddo and the pharmacist was super nice and attentive. Not only did she explained step by step how to give the medicine to my son but she also took the time to call the dr because she felt he gave my son a dose not recommended for kids. That's going the extra mile. The store it's clean and organized. So far, the employees are nice. I do have to say, the pharmacy department it's understaffed. There was one talking to me, other on the phone while 2 cars waited outside on the drive thru. Other than that, no complaints.

If I'm ever in downtown Danvers, I'll typically stop at this CVS to get some simple things, like a bottle of Coca-Cola, or a nice candy bar, and when I ever have to go in with my mom, I she may get some nasal spray or something at the well-functioning pharmacy area. The people are really nice, and though it's not the greatest place in the world, it's okay.

Later, when I was checking out, I noticed that he was multitasking, by running back and forth between the photo department and the front register, all of the time never stopping his smile. He rang my items up quickly, making for a pleasant experience. I will return, as I found a lot of nice ideas for Christmas there. The toy department is incredible!

1 star -- absolutely unacceptable…read more The pharmacy at CVS Pharmacy is a complete mess. My prescription was transferred, and somehow it just vanished. No one can tell me where it is, why it's not filled, or when I'm actually going to get it. I've now been sent between locations being told it's ready, only to show up and hear "we don't have it." Meanwhile, I'm without medication I need, getting worse, and the staff offers zero real answers. One employee (Rita) looked up my prescription and couldn't give any clear information or timeline at all--just confusion and attitude instead of solutions. At this point, it feels like no one knows what they're doing. This isn't a small mistake--this is people's health. My husband had a surgery right across the street and the pharmacy had hours to fill the prescription but didn't. They then closed for 30 minutes for lunch and when they reopened they said it would take another 30 minutes to fill the prescription. It took over 30 minutes and then the missed a medication. I had to go back to get the last one which they hadn't filled. The pharmacist manager took her time to fill it - helping other customers first instead of filling the late and miss prescription and then made me stand in line again just to pay for it! By the end of my experience I was there for 90 minutes while my husband was in the car post operation. The pharmacy team knew that he was post operation and waiting for pain meds and that still didn't give them any sense of urgency or care. What a terrible experience. I will never use this pharmacy again.
