It was a cold Sunday and quite an ordeal removing layers of clothing to prepare. Perhaps a better suggestion to calm people after the ordeals of vaccination might be to offer fruit juice. CVS had good intentions that day . Perhaps the chain might consider removing those products from shelves. I'm 77 years old now and have medications for blood pressure and cholesterol. The staff is friendly and excellent face to face. On the phone you willl be given excuses and lied to about the problems they fail to resolve when filling prescriptions. The problem rests on the pharmacist in all cases I have been draggrd through. I have had to resort to calling the CVS HQ in Rhode Island to resolve dysfunction that left my family's health in jeopardy. Cannot reasonably recommend. My draft of this sat for 2 weeks. I am still sending it vaguely hoping to spare the pain we felt and could see in others in the line up who visited.

Well, how could it get possibly worse?? My regular Walgreens on Boston St closed. Which…read moreunfortunately means I now have to go to the one on New Derby St. The rudest Pharmacy Techs ever, and there is always a mile long. The store itself I have no issue with, actually like the store. It's the pharmacy. Rec'd a text message that my prescription was ready to pick up. I have a friend drive me down through Halloween traffic etc. The Pharmacy tech tells me quite rudely "there is nothing here for you". I said well, I have a text message stating otherwise. After some going back and forth, she walks off and out of the Pharmacy area, leaving me hanging. Guess she didn't feel like dealing with it. Another tech came over who was a bit nicer tried to explain why I would be informed the prescription was ready when indeed it was not. I really need to look into CVS. Customer Service is very lacking in the Pharmacy. Which is unlike the Cashiers up front who are very pleasant. Not good experiences here. I wish they had kept the Boston St location open, and closed the New Derby St one.
