I stopped in here to print a few photos. When an associate Justin overheard me mumbling under my breath in frustration, he offered his assistance. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and quickly helped me with what I needed. Later, when I was checking out, I noticed that he was multitasking, by running back and forth between the photo department and the front register, all of the time never stopping his smile. He rang my items up quickly, making for a pleasant experience. I will return, as I found a lot of nice ideas for Christmas there. The toy department is incredible! read more

According to the State of Massachusetts it is legal to transfer prescriptions from one pharmacy to another. I have cut ties with Walgreens and tried to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. The new pharmacy notified me that they have contacted Walgreens three times and been unable to get Walgreens to transfer the prescription. This is not surprising given their level of uncaring unprofessionalism. read more

The pharmacy staff was taking pictures while I was waiting to get seen. I tried to do a walk-in for a flu shot and they said walk-ins are only available before 6pm. I tried explaining to the staff I have a newborn and it's hard for me to get a sitter but they didn't have any empathy. read more

Absolutely no care for their customers. Pharmacy personnel couldn't care less about you. Sat second in-line at the drive through on a Saturday at 5:50pm to pickup important scripts. The customer ahead of me finally moved out at 5:58pm and the Walgreens staff pulled down the shade and closed the service so I couldn't pick up my scripts until Monday. Walgreens, Where are the pharmacists? Gave up on long lines at CVS for easy access Walgreens. Beverly store closed, Gloucester Eastern Ave starting closing pharmacy on weekends, and now Danvers has closed drive-up and long lines in store. I went to Urgent Care on Friday and on to pharmacy to pickup my prescription. They asked if I could wait until Monday because they were closing for weekend. Um, no. I am coming from Urgent Care. All the customers had different complaints. Got call ready for pickup, get there not ready. Waiting for hours, closing for days. What is happening? read more

I'm only giving 4 stars because I'm a believer that there is ALWAYS room for improvement. With that said, I recently moved to Danvers and switched from one Walgreens to the High Street Walgreens, and I find that the people working here in Danvers are very friendly, helpful, and nice. I have had a few long waits at the drive thru( no one acknowledges/sitting and waiting) but todays experience in store was frustrating and unacceptable. Called to see if my prescription was ready. ( 5th day of covid). Recording states staff is busy with 3 calls in QUE and please wait. I knew it would be a wait as they must be busy/or short staffed. Put my phone on speaker. After 60 minutes I drove down there. Waited in line - still with my phone on speaker. Spoke to pharmacist- she states THEY don't anwser phones . I expl they should shut phones off or have a recording stating this. She didn't really seem to care. No prescription ready as no request. Expl doctor called it in. Come back home - call doctor back. . He states he had trouble getting thru but left message. Hubby goes down for me. No prescription . Nothing came over they state. Pharmacist let's him know he's leaving at 6pm which is 30 minutes. Long story short Got doctor to send to CVS. Hubby picked up prescription in 30 minutes. read more

The slowest pharmacy ever! Even the drive up. Been sitting at drive up AT THE WINDOW for 15 mins. Unacceptable!

Rude staff and the store never honors the advertised price. I usually visit CVS where the workers are much friendlier (which is only noticeable when compared with the horrible people at Walgreens). I went in for 'convenience" but won't make that mistake again. read more

Bad experience with pharmacy part many months ago, but have a great pharmacy now so I'm good! Wrote to their customer service main office, no response. The Walgreens I'm talking about is on High St Danvers MA. Won't get on with my issues there, long time ago, I've never seen so many people consistently screw up my prescriptions. I love this store! Not only because it like the next block from my house, but it carries anything you could need in a pinch! From snuggies to huggies! The couple of young-ish boys who work there are great and fast... Who wants to have to have a conversation with a crazy escape mental patent looking person while you are trying to buy toilet paper at 10pm! However that description does fit two middle aged women who work the night shift! They are seriously rough around the edges, and feel like sharing the events of the day.. No thanks crazy lady!! Was calling the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and a girl answered the phone there was asking me 1000 questions after I told her that it was a muscle relaxer I didn't know the proper name. After all the crazy shit that's been going around I had scatterbrain and I lost the prescription paperwork. She then made a sarcastic remark I just let go. I tried to explain to her it should be there on file she said next time like everybody else does it read me off the letters of the bottle and then I just went back to her and told her remember I told you I lost everything I don't know why you're giving me a hard time. She didn't let out this condescending sigh. You know I understand everybody has bad days especially lately but give me a break she was berating me over the phone. Then after all this I said thank you she said Yep whatever and hung up on me. I'm like are you kidding me. This happened April 2 around 545pm. I used to frequent the Walgreens on Route 1 North in Saugus since I used to live near there and that place was a trainwreck. Going there was like visiting the dentist. I avoided it as much as possible, but sometimes you just have to suck it up and get what you need and get the hell out. This Walgreen's however, has been a better experience for me and I am slowly warming up to them. It's not over crowded and I've never had to wait in line for long. The pharmacy is good and the fact that they have a drive through is a big benefit. I will admit I found it odd that one of the pharmacist is actually a real, life clown (no kidding). When he is on his shift, he has his clown photo frame on the counter -- this also warmed me up to the place :) just funny weird. read more

I Have never been to this walgreens, it was my first time there but will also be the last time ! I am a couponer and as soon as I got to the register the young kid that had rang me up was very rude ! He was not educated on coupons and did not have a good attitude ! I will never go back to this specific Walgreens again and I will tell all friends and family to exclude this Walgreens ! Sometimes they are misaligned, sometimes there are no envelopes, other crazy things. They always say "just come back and we will fix it".
