The worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I came here to pick up my prescription, called first to avoid the wait and was hung up on. Made the drive then asked to come inside, again, no problem. Come inside and hear one of the techs or pharmacist say to another worker "oh I'm glad ur head so I can go scream in my car." Having heard that I was hesitant to let her help me. But she asked me how she could help in the most aggressive tone. I gave her my info and right away she was pissed off and aggressive. Threw her hands up and walked away. Zero idea how looking at my information could trigger her but ma'am. This is a place of business and ur in healthcare!! Learn some breathing tactics or to remove yourself before you take out ur issues on customers trying to get their medications. Disgusting. read more

CVS on Bryant and Danforth is full of hard working employees who inevitably interact with impatient short-tempered customers who blame the messenger for the message they don't want to hear. Although many people are still decent intelligent and mature...society is racing toward immature self centered unempathetic children in adult bodies looking for quick fixes for their self inflicted ailments. I called to get a copy of my Rx for Xifaxan which I dumped less than half way through the bottle -- awful drug which made my symptoms much worse & wanted proof of Rx to report to MedWatch. Girl on phone said I had to come in for it, I told her I was sick but my husband could & gave her all his info. She seemed fine with it, sent my older spouse with his own health issues in to get it and whatever gal at counter said "I'll have to ask the pharmacist" (could have been same one considering how hesitant she apparently was). Bottom line? He was told he COULD NOT pick up a copy of my Rx since he wasn't ME (home, sick in bed). They said they'd mail a copy to me (another thing I was told they could not do). I received a piece of mail from them. It didn't contain the info I asked for, actually stated a refill was picked up on date my husband went in to get copy of the Rx (which I DID NOT refill), so I called the pharmacy & a tech named Catherine quickly spoke over me & started telling me why I was upset & created fallacies that got me more upset than I already was and still am. Holly deserves a raise !!!!!!!!! She was the only person i saw doing anything really. She took care of multiple costumers all at the same time. i'm so impressed . Multiple , like 20+ people came in and she managed to help them all , check people out, help people in the self checkout , AND help a lady and me with our photo needs. I ordered holiday cards here through the Kodak Experience app and drove from SC to pick them up. To be told that they could not print the pictures b/c they are out of paper. Why can they not communicate with me through the app or text or a call saying this was the case before I drove all the way over. The staff had not words other than they tried to call. They called the wrong number which is amazing since the number is correct in the app. Done! read more

Yes. This is a regular CVS. They have a pharmacy, some groceries and the photo lab. But let me tell you about Greg, because 5 stars for Greg! I came in the other nigh to create and print Christmas cards. I came in probably around 4 or 5pm to create the cards, then I went to the gym and came back to pick them up and pay. On my first trip, Greg was friendly and obviously busy. So I asked if I had to pay now, he said that I could pay when I picked up. I said great, "I'm going to go to the gym and I'll be back in a little bit." Greg responded with "sounds good, have a good workout." Very nice & friendly. When I came back, Greg was managing a herd of very grouchy (perhaps Grinchy?) customers. Two of which were being bullied off of the photo machine by a particularly rushed lady (perhaps her heart was two sizes too small?). Greg was keeping everyone peaceful and greeted me, brought me the cards and envelopes, and thanked me for being so quick and friendly earlier in the day. While managing the photo ruckus, he chatted with me as he rang up my cards and a few groceries, thanked me for coming in and wished me happy holidays. Too busy. They have trouble finding prescription bags when I go to pick up my mother's prescriptions. Nice pharmacists, but just too busy. Why wouldn't you go to Harris Teeter and grocery shop and get your prescriptions at The same time? CVS wants to own the world with their Minute Clinics and their prescription benefit company that is called Caremark. Monopolies are not good things. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with I normally get all my meds at Walgreens my pharmacist there is Awesome I have picked up meds or they call me a medicine will be out an they order it an have enough for 2-3 days knowing I need it ask if I want to pick it up at another location:) That's how a pharmacy works well not CVS My insurance will now only pay for my diabetes meds if I fill them at CVS ughh I also work in the area an my Dr,s are in Ballantyne so it's easy to get my meds right away well it depends. So my first incident with the pharmacy happened in Nov/Dec of 2019. I picked up 1 of my diabetes meds through drive thru an the pharmacist comes to the window an said now this was changed supposedly by my Dr. I thought okay she didn't tell me she was doing that but my numbers were looking better so I guess she changed it. I saw my Dr in Dec an asked her to my surprise she said she had not changed my meds I received my next refill an sure enough they were filling my correct script an one my Dr said she didn't send. I saw my Dr again recently had her look in my chart look at that my meds had not been changed! I went into my app an took off that med what idiots!!! My second med issue was again in Jan/Feb I was diagnosed with blood clots in my leg so I had to come off 1 of my reg meds. My Dr put me on a different med it was on a wed/Thur I was waiting for a text by Sunday I went to pick it up an I was told they needed another form my Dr. I send over an email to my Dr an guess what no form was sent an my Dr is now out all week. I call Cvs back they now tell me they are out an need to order the medicine, I said can you transfer it , Nope it's a pain med an my Dr would have to call it in to another pharmacy!!! CVS said we can order it I said NO ! My Dr office assist called an said once my Dr returned they would call it in to another pharmacy. Here is what also made me mad I asked CVS what was the name of the drug that had been called in she said there's no name it has blah blah in it. The CVS on Rea rd told me the name mmmmm This weekend I had another medicine issue I now take blood thinner until the clots are gone very important meds an You can't miss a dose. I call being I see on my app it says pending mmm The young lady I spoke to tells me they have left a message with the Dr!! I was in the hospital in Jan that Dr doesn't remember me an has more patients over there than she can handle!! My family Dr is keeping an eye on the clots now SMH I said I had 1 refill why did you call the hospital Dr. This was classic , she said they only had 20 pills n it's for 40 . Yep I went off on this poor girl couldn't help it. I said can you fill the 20 this is for blood clots can you not kill me!!!! Than she said yes we will fill the 20 an wait for the Dr . I couldn't even ask her why again would you call the dr. Your pharmacy is out of the med you order it than tell me I will get the rest in a few days. I am over it After this only diabetes meds ughh if I were rich I'd pay full price n forget CVS all together. I have spoken to a good friend who is a nurse an this is common practice for CVS . Do not get your meds filled here, what would happen with someone who didn't pay attention to their meds an they took the wrong meds. The pharmacy here is an actual hot mess. Note that the actual pharmacy here is NOT open 24/7 unlike the rest of the store. My doctor called in a script for me to this pharmacy. I had a new insurance card and called to ask if I could just show it on my phone. They said absolutely and hung up. That's nice. But they failed to tell me that they were closing in 15 minutes so by the time I got there, they looked like they have been shut down for days. So rude! They knew I needed to start an antibiotic immediately and never said anything. Probably figured they'd end up staying a few minutes past 9 and their lazy asses didn't want to wait for me. That's just lack of care for people all around. I couldn't even go to the rock hill location to have them fill it because they didn't put it in the computer. So not only am I sick now, I'm pissed off too. The next day I go to pick up the script and encounter a line full of angry waiting and waiting. There's zero communication to the customer about realistic times. Don't tell me five minutes and 30 minutes later avoid eye contact. NEVER AGAIN. read more

This CVS is pretty large and offers a wide variety of merchandise. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Never get scripts right. They tell you at the window you have three ready, it would help if they told what three?

I recommend you don't go to this place for the Covid test. They confuse you, not pleasant, and take a long time.

Very long wait time for answering call- average 10+ min, some staff incompetent, in general very poor customer service, complaining to store manager will not help because they never return call back.. suggest to find better company willing to help customers and treated with just a little respect.. thanks and read more

This has been my go to CVS Location and my Pharmacy for nearly 10 Years! For a majority of this time I have been pleased with this location. However within the past year or 2 I have seen a sharp decline in the look, the selection, the shopping experience and the lack of help available in regards to the staff. Also the hours went from 24 hours to closing at Midnight which I can understand to an extent. I personally feel like they should have at least one employee on the floor just to assist customers that need help or assistance finding things like myself. The only person I am ever able to find is at the register. Also more consistently than ever I find many of the staff to be argumentative and dismissive of any help or suggestions I may have or give. This location is also in dire need of a facelift. For such an upscale affluent area it is well overdue for a remodel. The outside could use some beautiful plants, flowers or trees and the sidewalks and parking lot around this CVS need to be pressure washed! Please do something! read more

Horrible pharmacy. I had a prescription transfered from another location on a Tuesday. I told them I would pick it up on Friday. I received no less than 12 calls between Wednesday and Friday telling me that it was ready to pick up. On Friday, after waiting 15 minutes in line, they could not find my order so I had to wait another 5-8 minutes while they searched for it. Once she finally found it she said that they hadn't run the insurance, which they had on file, so I was going to javelin to take a seat and wait on that. Just terrible. I love this cvs. And it's only because of one person. Debra. She is the nicest person you will ever meet. I used to go in there all the time and she was said hi and asked about the family. The only reason I don't go there that much in more is because they stop selling cigarettes. You need to give the lady a raise. She is like this with every customer!! read more
