We were able to grab the essentials. The layout was a bit dodgy with where to locate certain items. But the space is quite spacious so you don't feel people are on top of you. There seemed to be technical difficulties at the self checkout based on some of the other customers who will either trying to scan items and/or pay. Not sure if it was just human error or a glitch but we waited a few minutes at the front of the queue for people to figure their stuff out. Still, we bought what we needed and this CVS was the only one that was close enough from the hotel we stayed and where we were going.

The workers at Herold's Pharmacy actually care about their customers and it shows. Mary is the main pharmacist here. She's really sweet. Her and her husband own Herold's Pharmacy, this one in west ashley and the one in North Charleston. Robby is another pharmacist here. He's also nice. All the workers here are really nice. Just the fact that I know their names shows you how much more personal this pharmacy is with their customers. I come in about twice a month to get my prescriptions. Once a month, I get a shot administered here. It's nice that I get to come to a local pharmacy for this shot because they can usually take me right away. I just call ahead and tell them I'm coming. Other big name pharmacies won't even administer my shot. I'm so lucky to have a place like Herold's to go and get my shot administered with no extra fee. They have all the basics that you might want to buy at a pharmacy. They a can fill just about any prescription for you. There are nice people working there. It's a cute local pharmacy. Try them out. I know you won't be disappointed.

I'm not a huge fan of self checkout, but fortunately there was a store employee in the area guiding patrons and ensuring that things went smoothly. The interior was like any other Walmart, they sell everything from clothes to groceries as well as televisions, home goods and personal care items. Conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the Tanger outlet and adjacent hotels this location might be beneficial to those visiting the area. Open daily from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

There stacked in front of it were three large boxes, which apparently was the restock ready (sort of) to go onto the shelves, but just never got there. So, you just do what you have to do, or go somewhere else (Dollar General next time?) to buy. I bought. You certainly can find the things on the shelves, other than the gift paper, which are too highly priced, even on their sale prices (usually buy one get one 50% off--which requires buying two, but that equates to 25% off per item). As an aside, there is one lady in the pharmacy that is handling my refills, etc. However, the prices were just getting up there, and not due to my wants, but just my needs, so I have moved all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy which is not really close to my Johns Island home.

Then the call "disconnects" so you start all over. Maybe don't pat yourself on the back on your customer service when you make your customers spend 30 minutes or more trying to get an answer to one question that would take you 30 seconds. Now I have the option of taking these physical copies and have them tell me that it will be two hours to put a few pills in a bottle aaaaand they are out of one of the 4 prescriptions I need so now I am driving around town looking for another option. I think these companies collude to provide the worst service possible. Can't just go down the road because they all are horrible. Makes me think they are run by a communist government.

In and out as quickly as the checkout line will allow me.
