I went in to get some gift wrapping (a bag and that colorful paper that you push into the bag) and they apparently were coming off of one holiday into another, so that was none of that filler paper (what is it really called?) for the bags and only a couple of bags to put my wife' birthday gift into. There stacked in front of it were three large boxes, which apparently was the restock ready (sort of) to go onto the shelves, but just never got there. So, you just do what you have to do, or go somewhere else (Dollar General next time?) to buy. I bought. You certainly can find the things on the shelves, other than the gift paper, which are too highly priced, even on their sale prices (usually buy one get one 50% off--which requires buying two, but that equates to 25% off per item). As an aside, there is one lady in the pharmacy that is handling my refills, etc. However, the prices were just getting up there, and not due to my wants, but just my needs, so I have moved all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy which is not really close to my Johns Island home. read more

The store is dirty. They come I like a lot of the pharmacies, I have removed blood pressure cuff. There is no bathroom for patrons. Did I mention that the store is filthy, dirty? The pharmacy is understaffed and they close the drive-through at the pharmacy at various times. read more

Besides the ridiculous wait for prescriptions to be filled, the man who took my name was rude and hateful. I already stopped going to the Ravenel location for the same reasons, I will be searching for an independent pharmacy that will fill prescriptions in a timely manner as I live an hour away and there are no pharmacies on the barrier island. read more

I usually go to the CVS closest to my house but it's never well stocked and I was out shopping so I decided to stop in to see what kind of products they had at this location. All I could see were yellow sales tags everywhere. We were greeted by a very pleasant fellow named Matthew L.Moore who is the Store Manager in training. He showed us some of the sales items, directed us to use the circular and match with our ExtraCare card for rewards on many items in the store. This store is so much bigger and better than my local store. There are so many products to choose from . This is also a 24hr store, so it's convenient for those late night and middle of the night emergencies, cravings, or when you just can't sleep at night you can peruse the isles in search of bargains and new items. It's a pretty busy store so I was expecting the laundry product's shelf to be bare. I found the buy one get one free Tide Simply with OXI, fabric softener (Suavitel) that is never in stock at the Goose Creek store. Mr. Moore also provided me with a Rain check since I purchase all 6 bottles in stock (I don't see this in GC often so I had to make the most of it). There were 100's of New Make-up selections with every possible over the counter brand that you can imagine. I saw Revlon, Maybeline, L'Oreal, Physician's formula, NYX, Milani, Wet & Wild, Covergirl, Elf, etc. I lost my mind when I saw the NYX Professional Makeup SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM. I purchased Tokyo, Istanbul, Milan and Seoul. The entire store was decorated for Easter and it looked amazing. There were "Bunnies and Blooms" theme throughout the store. In addition to pharmaceutical products and cleaning fluids, You can also buy Cereal,bread,juice,milk,soda,cookies,ice cream,a few canned items and a few microwavable items. It's not quite a grocery store but there are on the go products that you can buy in the event of an emergency or if you are a single person and just need a smaller size than the family size. It's too far away for me to fill my monthly prescriptions but it's definitely a store that I will return to whenever I am in the West Ashley area. read more

I recently had two very poor experiences at this location. First I scheduled an appointment for a drive up COVID test... y'all no one who worked there knew they did drive up COVID tests. We've been in this pandemic for multiple years now and it took three people running around for 45 minutes to figure out how to had me a swab through the pharmacy window. I wouldn't have gone back but I forgot the location and a few weeks later I got a bad sunburn and ordered store pickup for aloe spray. Luckily for me this store decided to randomly close for multiple days and not post that anywhere (their door store hours even said they should be open) so my prepaid item got held hostage and I couldn't cancel because everything online says "call your store with any problems". Honey, I would if I could. I placed my order at 9am on Sunday and got the pickup notification at 7pm Tuesday... I have no words. I went and got it myself at Target days ago. I do NOT recommend this location. So disorganized and unprofessional. read more

Micheal is an outstanding worker! He answered all my questions and went out of the way to help me decide on what size picture and offered to help cut my picture to make it fit in my frame. He went above and beyond and helping me. I had two small children with me and he was so nice to them! I will only be using this CVS photo print location from here on out ! read more

I always get great service at this CVS. It's a pretty simple store (no clinic, etc), but it is 24 hours if you need something late at night or early in the morning. It's easy to get in and out of with the red light there and convenient to the interstate, Savannah Hwy, etc, really all parts of West Ashley. Today, I got really excellent service in the store. I bought a lot of stuff, including 3 massive jumbo packs of Paper Towels. The secret of CVS is that if you use coupons and Extra Care Bucks, you can buy in bulk super cheap- and I do! A really nice cashier there, Max, actually carried my paper towels out to the car and loaded them, told me to have a great day and he looked forward to seeing me at CVS soon. I didn't ask him to do this, and I'm more than capable of loading them myself (heck, I got them to the front of the store- so I could get them out!). It was a nice gesture and made me feel like a valued customer. That's why I really like this CVS rather than some other drugstores that are closer to my home. read more

This honestly is the worst CVS I've ever had to deal with. They never have enough staff to accommodate pharmacy customer demand when going through the drive-through if you happen to go at 2 o'clock despite the fact that they are closed for lunch from 130 to 2 they don't even open the drive-through until 230. If you try to call them, you go into an eternal hold, the lines inside the pharmacy take at least 45 minutes to get through read more

I love to shop at CVS because I always get great deals through the app. The employees are always super helpful and I am always greeted as soon as I walk through the door. I shop here for personal health and hygiene products mostly and you can get 40% off coupons and extra bucks on the app which makes shopping here super cheap. This store does a great job keeping things organized and just providing an all around good shopping experience. read more

This CVS location on Savannah Highway in West Ashley is a convenient and well managed CVS location that has everything that you need in a CVS and more. It is easy to get in and out with exactly the items on your list when shopping here. Everything is well organized and the staff here is very helpful when you need their assistance. This is not my neighborhood CVS, so not the one I go to the most. But, I like the parking situation here. I can pull in after I leave Costco and easily park in the back and run in and easily drive out- I can even bypass the traffic light in the process if I'm feeling frisky!! read more

This CVS is located on Hwy 17 at the corner when turning to go to Costco. The Pharmacy here is extremely busy but they churn out the Prescriptions. Couple of disappointments are the dated inside makes this location seem dirty and the checkout process getting your Prescription can be lengthy. Thus 3 Stars ! read more

I ran into this business to purchase a birthday card and sunscreen. I asked to use the restroom first because I really needed to go pee. The cashier looked me up and down and told me they didn't have a restroom. I know and you know this is a lie! How do the employees use the restroom? You don't pee all day? I can only assume it's because I didn't make a purchase first. I tried to go shop for my items (while literally dancing in the store) and when I went upfront to pay for my items I got in a hurry the cashier was nowhere to be seen. With over seven thousand locations including about thirty here in the local area, my family and I love CVS and have been coming here for over ten years. This pharmacy location is our favorite because it's so convenient for us and their staff is so competent and professional. They do a fantastic job here. They can get really busy leading to waits sometimes of about fifteen minutes. Their pharmacy hours are very good during weekdays (7am-10pm) but not so much on Saturdays (9am-6pm) and Sundays (10am-6pm) because I feel like they close too early on those days. read more

I came here the other day to drop off a prescription for my friend's dad, an old man that can't do a bunch of running around. They told me that since it's a controlled substance, I had to wait a few days to get it. This is fine. However, they would not place the prescription on hold for me at that pharmacy. They said "they might run out." Excuse me?! You see me with this prescription here right now and you know exactly the day when it needs to be filled, which is still 3 days out, so why don't you just order it now? Why would you "run out" of this medicine you know 3 days in advance that he will need? Especially it being a controlled substance that you are supposed take just as the doctor has written, and will withdrawal without it!! This was on a Tuesday I believe so it's not like they wouldn't have gotten the order of his medicine in time if they would have ordered that day for him so he could have it when the day arrived 3 days later when he should pick it up. I don't understand this AT ALL! Other CVS pharmacies have no problem holding onto my prescriptions until they are ready to be filled. They even fill them for me without having to ask them!! This certain CVS is very incompetent and just way too busy! They have treated me rudely, I never feel like my privacy is respected here, and it's almost like they're trying to GET RID of customers with the way they treat people! Just make sure if you come here, it's on the day you're supposed to get your medicine, and make sure you don't mind everyone in the store hearing what you and the pharmacist/tech talk about!!! read more

Just went to pick up a prescription. The drive-up was closed and it directed me to go inside. I parked and went inside to pick up and was informed that they closed for lunch 3 minutes ago. I said all I wanted to do was a pickup and they informed me that they needed to eat with a not-so-nice attitude. Somebody needs to give the pharmacy a course in customer service. read more

The worst CVS I've ever been to. Waited in line for pharmacy 61 minutes during business hours to no avail with no one in line prior. They said they are short staffed. Yet this happens consistently. Would never willingly go there. The worst of the worst. read more

Don't go between 3: o'clock and 7: o'clock the lines are longest. This could be the best pharmacy around but with the high volume there's a lot of missteps with refills. I think there should be more people in the pharmacy area to facilitate the services there. read more

This place continues to amaze me. They're often way understaffed. Don't even try to call. You'll be on hold for an hour before someone even picks up. They often get the prescriptions wrong, or don't have ready what they say will be ready. If your discount card expires for your prescriptions, don't expect them to help you. You're on your own. You've got to do all the work. They're obviously too busy to care about your problems or want to help. Go anywhere else but here. I mean ANYWHERE!! read more

I have been disappointed with the pharmacy in this CVS recently. They lost a paper Rx I gave them (for a drop off Rx) and then they said there was no evidence of it. I had to call back my doctor and get them to digitally fax a new Rx to this CVS and wait for it to be filled. read more

This is an incredibly busy CVS. Unfortunately it's also filled with errors. I go here every couple of months to pick up my prescriptions. Unfortunately nearly every time, they screw up my order in one way shape or form. Either they didn't add a coupon and need to re run the order, which I then have to wait for, or they didn't fill the prescription requested, or they didn't put the right amount of the medicine. It's always something. The only good thing about CVS are the coupons. Otherwise I'd be going somewhere else. In addition, as busy as they are at the pharmacy, they should have more techs on hand. read more

This pharmacy is awful! I have never been so irate in a public place before. They filled a hand written script for me and I came to pick it up the next day, and they would not sell it to me since my prescription was expired by one day. Always a pain, always screwing up my prescriptions, I have been advised to go to Walgreens, well worth the money, can I just please have my Xanax now thank you and goodbye!!! After back surgery, two insurance companies, and they still cannot get it right, takes me so much time to go back, for another associate, to look at me with a puzzled look like they have no clue!! Very convenient to where I live and 24 hour service is nice. However, customer service is awful. I have always bought my prescriptions from CVS, but this CVS in particular is awful. Takes a while for the pharmacist to greet you, 10-15 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged is average, and waiting 45-80 minutes for your prescription to be filled is common. If you have time to spare and don't really mind rude, unhelpful people, then this is the CVs for you! read more
