Got a haircut with Carlos the Barber. He speaks Spanish which I was comfortable with since he understood what kind of haircut I was looking for. Was kinda disappointed in the other barbers there were two and they both had clients. A third guy came in with a client. When Carlos came in they said he can cut my hair. As I sat down the one barber that had a client close to the entrance got into the chair next to me and started getting his haircut from the guy who was in the chair getting his hair cut. Wow. It was disappointing. That they made me wait when either one of them could have done my hair instead of making me wait 30 mins. That being said. Carlos did my hair and I love it. Gladly paid $60 which I thought was a lot for a Walmart barber but again I liked it. Prob will not return. Review Stars based only on Carlos. read more

They have a new checkout line process-- everyone starts in two separate lines then an associate directs you to a cash register. Seems pretty efficient. I absolutely refuse to use this Walmart. Everything goes fine until you get to check out. LONG line, there's only a few cashiers working, and a few self check outs working. A normal in and out 10 minute trip turns into about 30-45 mins, and that's just the line. I've been in there waited for what seemed a long time, just put my stuff down and left. read more

The checking out situation have gotten worse since my last review. With 19 cashier lanes, only 5 were open. They have totally removed normal self checkout, it is now only for Spark shoppers. No more express lanes either. The line was long and reached all the way to the vegetables section. The wait was 25 minutes to buy less than 10 items. They need to open more lanes or reinstitute self check out or the express lanes. read more

Worst lines ever with a dozen people each and only 2 checkouts open! Out of stock empty shelves, no one around to help. Checkout is a nightmare with 20+ people in-line at the self checkout and only 2 open checkouts with a dozen people waiting as one checkout lady announces to the crowd "I'm off" as she turns off her checkout stand light.....pissed off customers revolt....no manager around!!!! Okay. Sigh. I used the shopping app for pick up. Simple things, things easy to identify. I'm not feeling well and the best thing was to have them shop for me. Ordered two heads of cabbage. Got two heads of lettuce. Ordered two dozen jumbo 12 pack eggs. Got 3 18 pack large, Ordered chicken thighs. Got chicken breast. Ordered three eight item biscuits. Got three 5 item biscuits. The only substitutes that makes sense in this is the biscuits and the eggs. The cabbage and lettuce are NOT interchangeable! No no no! Thighs and breast are both chicken but foe what I was going to do not the same. SMH!? So I get to rest up and then make another trip out later this week. Needless to say I'll be walking into the store and shopping my self. A service is only good if it works. read more

Worst experience I have ever had at a Walmart. I dread anytime I need to stop in here. The employees are horrendous, always on their phones, being super loud, gathered together and not doing anything and impossible to get their help. Only ever has the grocery side self check out open, not the home side. So the lines to the grocery side are always super long. Online an item was $15 cheaper, Walmart price match policy says if it's sold and shipped by Walmart, then they can price match in store. The associate kept cutting me off and continuously saying "no ma'am, no ma'am, no ma'am" as I'm trying to show her the policy on Walmarts website. Stay away from this place. read more

She almost let us walk out twice with not paid items because she "checked them" but the payment didn't go through. We are honest people so we kept checking to make sure payment went through in the app but your employee didn't care at all whether we paid or not. Pretty much the same Walmart you see everywhere - groceries, clothes, sporting goods, auto center, home goods, pharmacy, garden center.... No real issues with the products, except that lately many have been out of stock repeatedly. Sometimes it's hard to find an employee at this location, and I'm not sure why they keep 30+ check-out registers when they only have 6 or 8 staffed. The self-check-out is great, but there are only two sections and those lines can get long. So customer service can be sketchy at times. Now my big complaint, they haven't updated the price stickers in this store in years it seems like. Almost nothing will ring up the price the shelf shows at the register. And of course they prices have only gone up, so it won't be a pleasant surprise to get something cheaper. Some items have gone up tremendously so it's likely the price has changed several times over the last couple of years, but nobody updates the shelves. And of course they removed the price check scanners throughout the store, so you have to download the Walmart app the check prices (and sometimes cell service is slow inside the store). C'mon store managers, do better! read more

I went to pay for these... Marked at four dollars and 97 each... Meaning per package. When I went to check out it rang up as $4.97 per pound. This is not a discrepancy of a few cents. I understand prices in produce, especially lately, fluctuate daily. But this package rang up at over $15. When I asked about the signage I was told there was not a single manager or assistant manager in the store. When I went and spoke to someone in charge in produce they shrugged their shoulders and said "whatever." This is why I shop anywhere but Walmart. Silly me for thinking I could grab some fresh fruit when I had to pick up some non-food items. In the past when this happened once or twice the mistake on a sign was honored. If I could rate this Walmart a zero I would. Ever since 2021, I've been fighting Walmart Corporation, because of this event that happened to me in North Charleston, SC. when I was shopping there one day and was ready to check out. I brought my products to the cashier and I noticed the belt you put your products on was wet like possibly blood from meat. So, I asked the cashier to please wipe the belt so I can put my items down and she refused. Mind you this is also during COVID. I told her I didn't want to contaminate my items and she still refused. She then called her supervisor over and said I can't serve this customer. I was shocked. Once I explained to the supervisor what took place, she was worse than the cashier. Long story short the supervisor told the police to escort me out of Walmart. I was shocked and embarrassed. At first all I wanted was an apology from Walmart, but now I demand an apology and compensation from them for insulting, humiliating, degrading and ignoring me for the past 3 years now. I have also asked a local news media to intervene on my behalf and they told me that Walmart is ignoring them also. read more

Typical Walmart until you go to checkout. Enjoy using the self checkout? Not here! They have removed all the self checkout kiosks and now have 19 actual cashier checkout lines. Only problem is, they only staff 4-5 of them. There are two separate lines from two different sides feeding into the huge cashier area where only 4-5 lines are staffed. There is no organization or structure, and you can only imagine how well this system works. Those customers with 10 or less items are in line with people that have overflowing carts, all feeding into a huge checkout area with only 4-5 cashiers working. By far the worst checkout system I have ever seen at any Walmart. Whomever approved this process and thought it was a good idea needs to reevaluate their career path. read more

We visited this Walmart a couple of times while in town. This store is conveniently located around a TON of other shopping and eateries. There are even some outlets very close by. The store itself is pretty much your average Walmart, but kept up decently. We were mostly here to pick up some groceries and we had no trouble getting what we needed. The shelves were well stocked and no issues there. The beer and wine section was a little bit on the small side, but they had the basics. The parking lot set up is not that safe, the spot where you cross the lot to get into the store is poorly designed and cars go speeding through. read more

Apparently everyone is now being herded thru a single checkout entry point and the 2-3 stations at the end are now for Walmart + shoppers only. Good value and great selection.... BUT..... Only one or two registers staffed with personnel. The rest are closed. THEN... Self service... Usually at least one or two registers are broken. AND.... There are singular self serve registers that supposedly can't be opened for use. The reason cited is staffing shortages! There are huge security cameras focused on these registers!!!! And there is always one of two quite large individuals who are sitting and occasionally ask for receipts. If anyone refused and walked out, these folks couldn't catch them!!! I came on a Monday morning, the day school started in the area, so maybe I got lucky with it being mostly empty of people. The store seemed like chaos in the aisles, though. Things were very unorganized, stuff all over the floors. The groceries shelves were being stocked while I was there, so a lot of aisles were blocked by large pallets of boxes. The store only had one cashier available. They were trying to direct customers to use the self check out lanes. I went to the cashier lane and she seemed as though I was bothering her by being there. She wasn't very pleasant. The parking lot was disgusting. Trash everywhere. Carts were all over the place. read more

Worst Walmart ever. Asked an employer where an item was, and got the response: "Couldn't tell ya." Seriously? Asked if he could find out and he said: "Don't know - can't look it up." (Which is an outright lie since the next employee we asked did look it up... but gave us an aisle number that didn't even exist in the store. Somehow finally found the item we were looking for after asking a third employee. Got to check out and was told they couldn't ring up several items we had because they were supposed to be part of a set. We were well beyond frustrated at that point. We asked the cashier if this store exchanged propane tanks, and she said: "Ask customer service." Come on! I know this is a Walmart, but I've never encountered this level of apathy and downright rudeness. Recommend avoiding this stupid store at all costs. read more

This Walmart is huge or at least larger than the ones I'm used to going to. It's centrally locates by the Tanger outlet and various hotels so it's great for travelers. If you're looking for the carts they are outside. I wasn't expecting that. Their produce section is pretty large and that's great. The baby section is limited. I had a hard time finding what I needed which was frustrating. I will only come back if I really need something. On a positive note, they do have a Build A Bear inside. read more

My son got yelled at for his mask not being on correctly- I totally agree he deserved it- the same manager walked by this EMPLOYEE with no mask and said nothing. This was 100% racism since my son is white and clearly the rules only apply to white people. Why do I say this? Walmart sells little in the way of what a person who has never been to one would expect them to have, based on what the company is known for. Not feeling connected to any item in any department, my intention was to collect the few goods that I needed and exit quickly. As I continued my search, I had asked three workers in three different departments, three different questions. The quality of treatment that I was in receipt of was nothing short of fabulous. Each one took the time to listen to my needs, in one situation immediately finding someone of managerial caliber to open a showcase. In another situation, take me to the proper area to find my products and to advise me upon my question posing, what product would offer me the best value and was the best choice. read more

Handy for folks like me who realize that they've forgotten to pack something important and need to get it quick before driving off into the distance. This is a proper Supercenter Wal-Mart, meaning that it has a full-size grocery section in addition to the usual clothes and electronics. And a Tire & Lube and Vision Center etc. While I grabbed what I needed from the personal care aisles, I also stopped and got a six-pack and some snacks for the hotel room. Yay, me. Product has been getting better with availability. Cleanliness is not up to standard whatsoever. There are stains of urine and feces in all of the men's restrooms. The urinals are completely trashed and there literally almost a whole roll of toilet paper all over the floor. These are one of the most disgusting restrooms I have set foot in. For Walmart, this location isn't terrible. It's a tiny bit cleaner than other locations. It also seems to be a little better stocked an organized. Staff is sometimes friendly, sometimes not. I have learned not to expect much from Walmart, and then you don't really get disappointed. read more

They rearranged the store but that isn't my issue, my issue is why do you have employees basically yelling at us to move to this line and that line. Called ahead to ask if they are still accepting walk-ins at the auto center, and they said they were. Drove across town on a donut for them to tell me they weren't accepting walk-ins. Someone was lazy here, and it could cost me a flat donut on the side of the road with no spare. I would like to have some grace with this review, but something needs to change. read more

Every time I visit this Walmart I remember why I don't come here. The place is a mess. It's not organized/layed out the same as other Super Walmarts so its very hard to find things. The parking lot is always nuts too - as its location is next to outlets, I imagine its a very busy location. The only redeeming quality is that this Walmart has an Auto Care Center.
